Certain things I can do without brushes. Highlighter, eye shadow, like the lid space, and lipstick, and blending out lip liner. The truck is to be super careful, use your pinky finger a lot for corners .
This model has a lot of eyelid space therefore able to apply eyeshadow with her fingertips. But, it isn't a technique for those of us with hooded eyes. My makeup would look like I applied it after a few too many cocktails.

Back then I didn't know much about Subscribing and that but I did save your video as a bookmark and I am so happy I did! I have been watching them all ( different Influencers and Guru's of Makeup) for the last 4 years, and it seems to me that they have become Overwhelming now with all the High end and SOOOOOO much makeup that I lost the technique that you show here...simple, honest and calmly...lol... So I decided to go back to the beginning, as I received many compliments on my makeup after watching this one! I am happy to say I am now Subscribed and looking forward to watching all your tutorials! I think you did an Amazing job teaching technique and patience also the no brushes was just pure Genious!! Most young girls are intimidated by all the $$$ and tools necessary for good makeup application but you showed you can do it with just the minimum and get the full experience!! As a Cancer survivor 2 years now and holding I have learned a lot about how taking the time to make yourself up is not only lifting to your self-confidence and soul but also Cathartic and peaceful....for this I thank you....Huge Hugs!!! I admit that I didn't love that palette at first (I'm partial to the lorac pro palette) but with the looks you have done recently, I find I am reaching for it more. You are so talented! Have you used the maybelline color tattoo cream eyeshadow as a base before? I would love to see more videos with typical drugstore brands as well as skin care videos (face prep and removal of makeup/nightly routine). Thank you!
Mandy Welch I've never tried the Lorac Pro, I've heard so many people talking about it though..I may pick it up haha! Yes, I own 5 of them but I'd actually forgotten about them until you mentioned them. I may organise my makeup collection a bit better so I can see the products I have haha it's all stacked up in drawers! Sure thing :) I'll definitely include more products from the likes of L'oreal, Rimmel, Maybelline etc. As for the morning/night routines, I'm not in a position to film them in the way that I would like too, but I'll see if I can incorporate it into a video some how.. perhaps in a 'Get Ready With Me/Unready' video :) Thanks for your lovely comment! This was so helpful. The skin around the eyes is especially sensitive so the thought of using a brush that can collect so much bacteria scares me. I’ll always use my clean fingers or a cotton bud
I know I'm late but I love these types of tutorials and I also LOVE your piercings. I would never be brave enough to get piercings like that but they suit you!
Emily Set Hey Emily! Yeah I like it, for the price it's great :) The only thing is I find when I apply it on the lid it doesn't set, it leaves a tacky finish so I need to powder it. If I don't apply powder I find that the shadows apply unevenly on top of the base and can appear patchy but like I said nothing a little powder doesn't solve. If you're looking for another budget primer I also love the E.L.F one, its fantastic! X
I can definitely tell you are Irish, and I think the Irish accent is beautiful. I also use the Rimmel Match Perfection , I have True Ivory. I’m very pale, like porcelain almost. Thank you Eimear , this was helpful

From my demographics I noticed that a lot of my subscribers are quite young and I then realised that some viewers may not have access to different types of brushes, if access to any at all! I just wanted to show that you don't need expensive brushes or loads of different types to achieve a nice makeup look. Brushes can be helpful but they are not necessary :) Thanks a million! X

Kristin Wong I mentioned up in the description box that based on my last video using the palette, a lot of people wanted to see another look using the Naked Smoky so I decided to kill two birds with the one stone and combine the two requests. I use affordable 'drugstore' products on my channel probably about 90% of the time but you don't have to use the exact product from the exact brand that I'm using to recreate my looks. For instance to recreate this look, in terms of eyeshadows you just need a light brown, dark brown, gold, and black eyeshadow to achieve a similar effect. The brand name doesn't matter :) Thanks a million! x
