Wanted to buy a SUV or a SEDAN, tried both. Both confortable and everything you said is right. I Chose the sedan because the confort was very good and it's way faster and agile than a SUV ( yep i like to drive fast). Being High in a SUV can be a good feeling but when you take those turns it feels like you're in a boat and become really unpleasant if you drive for a long time.
Til you get into a car accident and the dude with the suv just hose you off his car. Many sedans fail newer safety tests due to larger collisions.

@@OM-bs7of it is a vicious cycle isn’t it? The way the world is going I’d rather be in a more capable off-roader. Sedans are usually the first to get flooded or stuck
@@ricecakeboii94 I really need you site a source for this because suvs are regulated to less stringent safety standards and are actually less safe than a sedan in many cases. In some cases they are safer for people inside but seriously endanger others outside of them. (I am referring to your first reply)

I will always go for a sedan. In fact, if they made cheap 2-seater sedans (coupes), I'd get that one. I just prefer cars that are agile, have good handling, and are lower to the ground.
Sedans are people haulers and hatchbacks are cargo haulers. With how high gas prices are, I need to use my hatchback as a pickup. My Honda FIT gets 36 mpg and I can haul car engines in it.
For city driving, both are even. But for highway, sedan excel in handling and fuel economy.
I wanted to go a bit of unpaved road for camping, sedan’s ground clearance is so low which is pretty easy to get damaged.

i'm not a suv fan but reason 5 to buy a sedan is that it has all of those safety featurea that a suv does not? except they mostly do so that's not a real advantage. Reason 6 as well! what, a suv doesn't have heated seats?? wth!

I feel like a great compromise in picking a sedan or SUV is a hatchback. If you get a big enough hatchback you can fit a decent amount of people in it and have more then enough cargo space, if you need more just fold the seats down. The way gas prices have risen I feel like its a necessity to have something fuel efficient. If you like going camping a hatchback can still make it down trails to a campground just don't do any crazy 4x4 off roading and you will be fine.
SUV is a new pandemic in India. Unsafe roads, Untrained drivers with SUVs are posing danger for pedestrians and other normal cars.
I think it comes down to preference. As others have mentioned, most technology and safety features are available on either an Suv or Sedan. For myself, I simply find the ride quality, concept of luxury personal transportation and maneuverability to be superior in a sedan. I'll take a quiet smooth ride over utility features any day.
True but that smooth ride can differ on location. The roads are getting worse which is giving the suv the edge in comfort nowadays
Im 20, been borrowing my moms x3 while I save for my first car. I do like the ride height, and space in case I need to take anyone around. But after some thinking I decided on getting a car since its just me, and been looking at a 2017-2018 model year c class... been my childhood dream car and would make me 100x more happy then buying a 2023 honda Hrv for example
Don’t buy a c class as a first car. They are extremely unreliable and you will need to spend tons of money on it when it breaks.

I have a suv with 4 cylinder.. gas is awesome.. and I like specs..loading and unloading groceries is a breeze

I prefer my SUV because I have so much space in it that I can even sleep and lay down inside the Car.

My wife has the Lexus version of the LC and loves it.
Honestly i prefer a sedan because they're easier to maneuver in very narrow parking spaces. They're also the king of fuel economy.
Aside from that, the smaller capacity is a nod towards privacy. It's a subtle way of telling people that "i'll be able to accomodate a few people but not a crowd."
If you're a family guy, buy an SUV. If you wanna save up but still want a ride, get a sedan.

It rains 5/7 days a week in my area. I would love a truck but it'd be difficult to keep my groceries dry unless i shell out more for a bed shell.

Even if an SUV is just as efficient as a car, the gas tank is substantially bigger therefore will always be more expensive to fill up.
It's the same amount of money either way... If anything you would be saving more money with less frequent stops to gas stations by having a larger tank.
@@Windeko not if you drive the same , the weight of the suv automatically will take more gas so the size of the fuel tank doesn’t matter for anything excpet tht you will pay more to fill it

The Audi Q7 and the VW Touareg share the same platform as Porsche Cayenne, hence, they are both as good as the Porsche.
