My first car was a silver 1973 with the golden block rocket 350 with a few upgrades and I won some street races I even had a policeman pull me over so he could look at my engine and commented on how clean it was and how good it sounded thanks for posting 👍👍👍
This Olds 73 Hurst really tripped my trigger a pond seeing it, yes the body is in good shape and ready to be restored. For this is the heart beat of America from GM that I love to see. For the price is right at 19,900 K and if you put at lest 15k into it, you would have a car that is about 80 k and that leaves you with about a 45 k profit. For this car has that prehensile , meaning for grasping the idea. For I love seeing this car and is worth the asking price for sure.
Sweet 73 Hurst Olds survivor, looks like original paint, only 1,097 mfg in 1973 in Cameo White or Ebony Black, killer price on that car. Will be a real beauty restore with new decal kit from Phoenix Graphics.
Sinister looking. Of the Colonnade cars this is my favorite. I remember a (Motor Trend I think) mag article on the 73 H/O talking about the A/C. "You may as well be comfortable while blowing the doors off that Charger." I've never owned a '73 but did have a 72 H/O for a couple of years. Those four double nickels make some real muscle. Burning through first then catching second nicely was a blast. If I had the room, I'd be calling you.
73 was the last yr before emission control went crazy, 73 cut down on hp a little bit but the Hurst/Olds 455 was still pretty strong, nice survivor, beautiful Cutlass😊
Nice car Nick. My parents had a 73 Cutlass Supreme with that same 455 motor (special order, most came with the 350) and that car screamed and was so much fun to drive. It was comfortable and fast. When I saw how much fun you had with this one, it really brought me back. Cool car Nick. 👍
I had a gold 73 442 I paid $900 for, my first car. Unfortunately, I wrapped it around a telephone pole in 1984 while listening to Physical Graffiti and racing. Man I loved that car.....I wish I had an extra 20k lying around....
You missed the teaching moment when you didn't use the gas cap to hold down the license plate. Up north it kept them fuel caps from getting snow in them.
My brother had this exact same car back in middle 90's!! Man oh man the memories this video brought back watching it!! Love those 73 Hurst olds!! The black and gold to me looked better than the white and gold. Also the shifter is known as a "dual gate shifter", or in the Olds world the "dual H gate shifter"! It is really fun shifting it on the performance side!! Also a GREAT video by the salesman!!! How ALL car lots should do it!!!
Oldsmobiles were known as the gentleman's hot rod so they drove extremely well. I drove my 1970 442 to Panama City Beach Florida ⛱ several times and it was smooth as silk but hit like a sledge hammer 🔨
Love them swivel seats, my first car a 76 Monte Carlo had them. I used to pull up to the fellas in the HS paring lot with the Motley Crue blaring, open the door, spin my seat and say , Pass that doobie
In 1979 I had the 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442. Faded blue/white stripe. Loved the swivel seats. The 455 was a thirsty beast, loved the car, but I could not afford the upkeep at the time, needing break work, tires, and a serious tune up. Even then the car was fast. 110 felt like 60 LOL. seriously. I miss cars like these, and they are out of my price range. Hope the person who buys this will treasure it, pamper it, and have the money to keep her out of the junkyards.
Great price! This was a limited special package with gold stripes, wheels and special vinyl top and opera window. Big block makes this a collectors bargain.👍👍
Usually not a big fan of anything after 70-71 for these until like 78-79. But this one is sweet. so was the 79 I watched earlier. Olds had some of the best cars back in those days. Shame they ended how they did but 20 years of nothing memorable doesnt surprise me now. Congrats on the new addition to your family. I enjoy all the videos.
Nice 73, I had a 74 442, had 455 400 turbo, limited slip posi, black with white strip, not an h/o, Loved them style wheels and steering wheel for Oldsmobile, I sold it, then heard it was stripped,
Kudos for driving in that heat without air like you were doing! I always liked the 73 body on those and not a bad price but that car needs a vintage air kit.
I like these cars. This car would cost a lot to restore, but it's good enough to drive as-is. If a guy did some work to it, cleaned it up and preserved it, it'd be a fun driver you could take to the weekend cruise-in car show.
These cars were the bomb back then, introduced to provide the luxury that Mustangs & Camaros didn't have. They even provided some performance with a high-output big block motor and an upgraded transmission plus a Hurst shifter. It appears to be original, if the engine numbers match this could easily be a diamond in the rough with a little TLC.
With 250hp in 73 it was good power back then, but with a few upgrades and desmog these olds 455 can be a screamer when you unleash that 500 ftlbs of torque... loved the swivel buckets.. That's a good platform for a restoration.. Good detailed video shows you exactly what your getting! Appreciated all the full detailed videos brother..
Thats a baddass Cutlass i absolutely love it! Congratulations on the new addition to your family and i also want to say i think Liam is an awesome young man and i am impressed with his determination to spend time working at the car lot, that young man has the traits that is not commonly seen in most of the youths today... I'm very confident that you and your wife will raise another incredible baby! God Bless you and your family and all of Maple Motors Staff! Peace and Love ✌️❤
Next To 1963-67 Olds Cutlass/442 The 73-77 Is Also My Second Favorite Bodystyle Thought This 73 Hurst/Oldsmobile Wasn't A Vinyl Top Car But @ End With Wall Around See Now Crazy Price Under $20k Lot Of Car For Bargain.
The Oldsmobile 455 engine was a monster
I HAD A '75 HURST OLDS...WISH I HAD NEVER SOLD IT...COULD CRUISE AT 100 MPH...SMOOTH RIDING,GOOD HANDLING...
My first car was a silver 1973 with the golden block rocket 350 with a few upgrades and I won some street races I even had a policeman pull me over so he could look at my engine and commented on how clean it was and how good it sounded thanks for posting 👍👍👍
Dude that was a smog motor. Please
The rocket 350 sucked unless you took all the emissions crap off of it...

That's a ( Father Day ) special 😁 of dad& son hanging out, spinning some quality 😎😄 time together, Congrats guys !!! Cool Cutlass****. 🎉

These cars were very under rated, still cool nice price
Long time, since I seen a 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme on the road. Miss the ride, since it retired.
Had a 76 Cutlass Supreme, however this 73 with the paint scheme looks outstanding!
"Our kick down is hooked up." Hell yeah!
Always loved the tail lights on the 73 Cutlass.
Have my original 73 big block 4 speed in the back of my shop from when I was 18, I’m 60 now… one of these days
supreme?
This car is extreme badass, rare and cool, would love to own it, love the cars you get because they are drivers cars not yard candy

Best stock steering wheel of all the muscle cars.
Sorry, The Trans Am wheel was better. but I'm prejudiced... Nice wheel, however...
@@lonmcq7317 That’s a valid argument, I can see your point.
The olds and Buick 455’s are highly underrated and misunderstood
I had a gold 73 442 I paid $900 for, my first car. Unfortunately, I wrapped it around a telephone pole in 1984 while listening to Physical Graffiti and racing. Man I loved that car.....I wish I had an extra 20k lying around....
455 nice motor especially for 73 was phasing all the BB out then ,been nice with 4sp
You missed the teaching moment when you didn't use the gas cap to hold down the license plate. Up north it kept them fuel caps from getting snow in them.
I used to pump gas as a kid in the 70’s and you just reminded me of that, thanks!

Also called the "his and hers" shifter
I actually love this body style for GM cars, Cutlass, Malibu, Grand Am, I could be missing some, but I really like them. This is a sweet ride!
I had a 73 Cutlass S (not a Supreme ) with a 455. It was fun to drive.
Watching/listening to this in my vehicle via bluetooth. Can feel the nice low rumble on this. Sweet indeed.
Glad you like it!
Oldsmobiles were known as the gentleman's hot rod so they drove extremely well. I drove my 1970 442 to Panama City Beach Florida ⛱ several times and it was smooth as silk but hit like a sledge hammer 🔨
Nice Exhaust work. had a 77 olds with a 403 which is also fast. This car says mid 14s 1/4 mile
I had a white 73 with a 350, nice car, great look. I see this one also has header cutout caps.
Love them swivel seats, my first car a 76 Monte Carlo had them. I used to pull up to the fellas in the HS paring lot with the Motley Crue blaring, open the door, spin my seat and say , Pass that doobie
GM had some cool designs in 1973. My first was a 73 Monte Carlo
In 1979 I had the 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442. Faded blue/white stripe.
Loved the swivel seats. The 455 was a thirsty beast, loved the car, but I

That's good performance for under 20k. Somebody built that car right. That's fun all day any day.
Had a couple of Oldsmobile fan friends.
One has a 68 Hurst olds 442
The other had a bunch, a 70 sx 455 was his coolest
I had a 73 Cutlass salon, love to the body style.
So clean underneath, no rust, very clean.
Nice 73, I had a 74 442, had 455 400 turbo, limited slip posi, black with white strip, not an h/o,
Loved them style wheels and steering wheel for Oldsmobile,
I sold it, then heard it was stripped,
That must have been a badass car in 73
Kudos for driving in that heat without air like you were doing! I always liked the 73 body on those and not a bad price but that car needs a vintage air kit.
Could you watch the gas gauge go down when you punch it?
oh yeah......had one with a 4 barrel carb and a rocket 350....needle would plunge towards empty.lol
I like these cars. This car would cost a lot to restore, but it's good enough to drive as-is. If a guy did some work to it, cleaned it up and preserved it, it'd be a fun driver you could take to the weekend cruise-in car show.

This is a PERFECT father son project.
Dammit!!!! I had a 73 Regal, (that cars brother) and it was a great car!! That 455 must suck some fuel!!!
455! Ooh the joy.
Great ride, great price, great video. That won't last long at all. Sounds awesome.
This will make someone a fun little sleeper. Big block, heck yeah
My brother had one that looked just like that in 1982
Wow, really nice car. Oldsmobiles don't get the love they deserve.
What a very special car. That is a stunner.
Nice old Olds . I wonder if the decals and graphics are still available if a person wanted to repaint it .
Yes. From Phoenix Graphix via Original Parts Group (cheaper) or Amazon. About $300.
yes they are , but very expensive!!
Một chiếc xe cơ bắp đặc trưng phong cách Americans quá đẹp ❤

I believe there are apps you can download for speedometers works off your phone actually pretty accurate 👍🏻
Never knew they made a hurst olds in 73. I bet it would outrun most all the other sedans back in 73!
That's what you should call one of your EP since you like music and deal with classic muscle cars 22min22second keep move them beautiful classics.
Wow! Really clean olds! BB 455! A little tlc, and you have a real winner! This one will go fast!, so first come fist served!
The famous Colanade body style. Wow a 455? 👍🏾
Wow that's in really nice shape. Good deal on price
Nick that's sharp ! Good price won't stick arnd long ! ✌
AWESOME CUTLASS !
That is one nice beautiful car love the stance and wheels just fix the air and you are done
Looks like this was rated for 250 hp. That is dismal for a 455. Good ol' 1970s regulations! ☹
But NHRA supposedly rated them at 330 hp.! I had a 73 442 4 speed- no way they were 250 hp.!
@@kevinsnyder4425 Hmm, I didn't know that. I mean, who knows....it certainly sounds nice!
Crazy I had a white 73 with the Oldsmobile 350 rocket motor. I actually kind of missed that car.
Nice car I had one with the 350 rocket and four speed years ago was lots of fun
Nice Nick!
Looks fun to drive
Gone before Monday. Sweet car
That is a very cool ride.
Good price and project.
Thank you
😎😎😎👍👍👍
Glad you like it!
Badass classic
Oh I forgot to tell you there was only about1k made for that year. So makes it rear for sure.
Another Hurst Olds? Where are they coming from? 🙂
Oldsmobile and Hurst Performance. Sorry for the smart aleck answer - couldn't resist.
@@maddpeanut6313 Nick had posted another video earlier today with a W30, that's where it came from.
It's all good, brother!
Major O'Rook cars.. Nice ☘️

the swivel seats were so uncomfortably unadjustable

Nice car 🚗 👌 👍 👏 😎 😀 🚗
That was a fun car. I had a 74.
My first one was a 75 Cutlass supreme
It needs lots of work
You have a headlight out on the passenger side bro 😹.
Nice! That's gonna sell fast!
Wow! I want it
Colonnade Coolness. 😁
Very cool.
Now you have my attention!
Love that under carriage shot
Want it she is definitely a driver
I love this car!
The price is tooo high for all the work it needs, plus it didn't want to start after the test drive you did , but i like the year.
Killer vehicle......👍🏽
I need this

You say 65,000 miles.
