This guy is a professional .if I had a firearm company he would be paid for every gun I produced for review. Plus he would get to keep every gun he tested. He is the kind of person who makes gun companies better by improving their products. Great job sir. I am a fan I will be watching all your reviews...very honest and partial.

My longest shots, real combat, were with an M60 machine gun, firing 7.62 ammo. It had standard iron sights. I was firing single shots at an NVA in Vietnam in April of 1969. He was just walking around about 1100 yards outside our perimeter, checking us out from across some fields of relatively flat land. It was God-awful hot and heat waves distorted vision down range. I missed him, of course, as I could hardly see him. But my first shot caused him to jump backward and fall down so I must have been a bit close with the impact. He got up and ran for his life. My closest shots were at 14 feet with an M16. I was walking point and I almost bumped into an NVA point man in the triple canopy. Him I didn't miss, I was just a half second quicker than he. He was swinging an AK47 at me but too slow. I came to appreciate the M16 after that. A whole lot in fact.

On ranges around 2000+ yards its not uncommon to use a spotter lying next to you with binocs and a rangefinder watching the target as you shoot, at least when it comes to police and military operations. Wind and air temperature begins to affect the ballistic curve at such ranges, so a spotter helping you to adjust your aim could prove useful. The rifle is still deadly at 3000 yards, likely even 4-5000 yards or above, but its pretty hard to shoot and hit consistently at such ranges.
A 2000 yard shot can be done, its not even that hard if you have some experience and a spotter, and you are allowed to shoot in on the target. The hard thing is to hit consistently with your first shot at such ranges, especially if its windy.
In my opinion you check the rifle accuracy by securing the rifle in a tight vice, keeping the barrel in the exact same place, fire 50-100 rounds on long range, and then check the target for distance between the bullets in the bullet grouping. This should be done where there is no wind.
That would be the "rifle accuracy" since the shooter has been excluded from the calculation.
On top of that there is a small margin of error when it comes to grain and weight/shape of bullets, like one 220 grain bullet might have 219,8 grain and another might have 220,2, and the weight and shape of the projectile will also deviate very very slightly from each other, even though they come from the same box of ammunition.
These factors will eventually become noticeable when shooting at extreme ranges. To my knowledge not all ammunition follows the same standard when it comes to accurate measure of grain and projectile, and for extreme range shooting this should probably be factored in as well.

Finally! Another actual review! I love your videos Andrew, but you gotta do some more reviews and tests; literally the reason I subbed in the first place.
Speaking of tests, have you thought about or tried doing a comparison between .338 Lapua and .408 CT? Velocity, accuracy at various ranges, penetration at long range, etc. I know it might be a pain and/or expensive to get two of those rifles together for one video, but it'd be a great one if you could manage it.

Dude, first time on your channel but like your style. Thot that first group was at 500yds, said "de-amn". Misunderheard ya. But still impressive. Been tryin to get someone like yourself to see if they can duplicate some shots I made nearly 40yrs ago. Yeah, been in the biz way too long. Had a troublesome compound we couldn't approach but could observe. I didn't know perzactly how far I was shooting till noticed that little ruler icon on Google Earth a few years ago. Just to send a message my target was a white vehicle. Oh yeah, weapon. M-16 A1, 20" barrel. Military 5.56 FMJ. Was able to walk my rounds up the hill on dry red clay dirt which also was good wind marker which was calm. Had time to fire a shot then lean over to spotting scope and wait for impact. Flight time was 3-4 seconds. I bracketed somewhat, high-low, left-right, 90 rounds, single fire. Artillery style. Barrel at bout 11 o'clock. Confirmation later of over 25 hits on the vehicle I was goin for plus many on other vehicles and buildings nearby. Google Earth sez 4,400yds. 2.5 miles. I'm thinkin that has to be about the limit for that round and that rifle. Traveling in an arc the rounds still had enough energy to poke holes in metal, wood and glass. Compound was empty of souls when I fired but when subjects returned not one of them even looked our way. No, it was not precision shots and I'm not claiming some record or bragging, but it happened and I would just like to see it duplicated. I'm sure folks way smarter than me can probly say ye or ne or even if physics makes it possible but just know it happened like I said. Also message was recieved, compound abandoned. If interested I can provide more terrain and difference in altitude info. If not, good channel.....well, good video. I'll check out some more vids. Thanks, if you read all this. Maybe some other old shooters have made similar shots. Sorry for novel length comment. L8r. (Would be cool to just try it with the 50)

I'm too poor to be a patreon supporter, but I will support you on RUclips with as many likes as I can! Keep up the awesome videos man! Oh, and btw, you guys should take out some of portable fold up gazebo things so you guys can be in the shade while you're shooting. ;)

Wow thank you for making this video like I said wow. I did not know the barrel come out and you can use different calibers on this rifle. And like I said wow😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱. And thank you for the in-depth detail about the rifle and explain the different functions.

Glad you enjoyed it and got some info in the process. Lot of work goes into these full reviews, so I very much appreciate the positive response

      You're welcome
I am a CNC machinist and I know it takes a lot of work to build one of these from scratch. But I have built my own AR-15 7 & a half inch barrel. So I greatly enjoy all the effort you put into this video in great detail of how the rifle is. I like that you explained the detach of the barrel and how much torque pounds you need to lock the Barrel in. So once again thank you for filling your videos with so much info.

500 meters is too easy with this guy. 750 was a challenge with the M27 but I think 1000 yards is definitely easy for this gun lol
Go the distance (literally) and do 2000!

Next time you should do 5 shot strings of fire. Since warming the barrel will effect accuracy. The extra two shots can make a slight difference sometimes

VERY NICE! I haven't been notified of new uploads for months. I'm curious to see: .357Mag vs .44Mag vs .460 Rowland; .22Mag vs 5.7mm(FN P90) vs 4.6mm(HK MP7). That'll do pig :D. ...you've had extra gloves this whole time?!...
