    I watched Clemens pitch a rehab start at a AA park sitting right behind the catcher. I could feel the power of the pitches and it was awesome. Never forget it.

    I watched Roger give up 8 in the second inning against the white Sox in NY and then the Yankees scored 8 in the bottom of the 2nd. one of my favorite memories, being able to see the legend himself, even tho it was a rough outing. I also saw MJ miss a game winning shot in Atlanta when i was 9 and it devastated me so maybe im just cursed but still fun memories nonetheless

    Roger is the greatest pitcher I’ve ever laid eyes on. Great pitcher, good polish on stuff and a good delivery. But more than anything, guy was a bulldog. A competitor. That’s why he’s the best.

    Thanks for the video. I grew up watching Roger Clemens and was able to see him in 94 at Fenway. He's a special kind of guy that only comes around once a few decades.

      He should’ve been in the hof tbh

    • @caffynated552
      @caffynated552 3 месяца назад +1

      @@TheAnimalWolverine They accused him of using PEDs, and he denied it. Then they charged him with 6 felony counts of perjury for denying it, but in a setting where they had to show evidence instead of just slinging accusations, they had nothing. The only piece of evidence they had was a needle that was in the custody of Mcnamee for years, who admitted he changed his story (AKA he lied) over the years, which destroyed the case against Clemens.
      It's absurd that Clemens isn't in the HOF after they repeatedly failed to show any compelling evidence he cheated. One of the legends of the game has had his reputation ruined on nothing more than the word of a man who has admitted to lying about it.

But he's actually a stout athletic dude, clearly has actual field experience. I'd just assumed he was an analytics dweeb with no play time, not that it matters, his analysis is top notch!

All you doing is saying, "do whatever you want to get an advantage, you'll get rewarded either way, it doesn't matter." There has to be some consequence. That's not even bringing up the kind of example this creates for young impressionable minds.

      Now I think it is fairly well known that Scotty also scuffed the ball … *rumor* has it, and the source was another MLB pitcher, that Greg Maddux did also … infrequently on pitches to lefties, but regardless … very few can make the ball move like those two did (with or without an abrasion in the ball!)
