This isn't really the same as a boxed dye/bleach from the drug store tho
Although it does come in a box the developer is seperate and it’s a cream bleach. Very similar to what you’d get at Sally’s. You mix it yourself
He's been really supportive of Arctic Fox so I'm very interested to find out what he thinks about their bleach.

Super excited for a bleach product that is loaded with so many oils. I have a toddler so hair breakage happens no matter what for me with her yanking on it and my having to keep my hair in a pony tail to prevent her from just snatching me bald. That being said I've been wanting to get back into my weird and wild self again, but was afraid to use a bleach product.Thank the almighty for this product!
Ahhhh, I remember the days of coloring my hair every week lmaoooo. I don't know how my hair survived highschool, but it definitely changed the make up of my hair, even after not coloring for 3 years! (that was toughhhh) So I eased myself back into coloring it, but more natural colors, I wish we had tutorials and tips like this back then, may have saved me from a few headaches. I love your makeup btw!~

man I'm so jealous of ppl with lighter hair. 20vol pretty much just brings my hair from black to medium brown. I have to do it twice with 30vol just to get it light enough to color when I touch up my roots.
Jinxxie I actually did my hair blonde from black within 1 day mixing 30volume and 20 left it on for 20 min and it bleached everything
@@sanchezgeorgette19 lucky! that probably has to do with the texture and porosity of your hair individually (also race but that is what determines those).
I use 40 on my black hair for one pass to turn it orange and then use 20 or 30 to get it platinum.
Jinxxie girl I was just scared to have my hair fall out lmao I just got lucky but I did it with using Olaplex and having coconut on my hair soaked over night

color oops made my hair feel amazing too! i’m finally just realizing that once you’ve said it. something about it made my hair feel a lot nicer but it smelled sooo bad and didn’t go away until like 20 washes
50 volume is the highest (at least in Canada) You have to be licensed to buy it. I have never used it because it is insane...I'm assuming like putting straight battery acid on your head 😳
I'm here in Houston, TX and the beauty supply stores sell 50 volume to the public. I know this because that's what I use. My hair is black. It's only really damaged my hair once because I accidentally got it on my hair when I only meant to put it on my roots. I had to do a major trim after that.

I wish they would give out lower volumes, 35 kind of scared me. I don't go any higher then 20v. and that is just on my roots.
Honestly I'm not into coloring my hair, but damn Artic Fox products always amazes me!
If you put coconut oil on your hair where you don’t want bleach on it or where your bleaching with a high developer it will help significantly I never bleach without it 🥰 love your videos keep up the beautiful work

I wanted to try the AF bleach but I only need to use 20 vol for 30 minutes to get my hair to the color of blonde that I like. Also, it’s annoying to have to buy multiple kits all the time because my hair is quite thick. I do like that is CF and vegan though.
Thank you for the warning at the beginning. I was going to use this on my dyed hair today, and you stopped me from accidentally frying it.
You are right to warn people of the dangers of high peroxide. I have level 2 hair and only use a 20 volume to bleach. I'm not sure anyone NEEDS 35 vol., although I know it can be used safely. You are great and I love watching you! Thanks for the vid.

I tried this to get my hair white and GIRL she WORKS. My hair has never felt so good after being bleached like it was amazing. Anyways my hair was dark and I had to bleach all around twice ( I waited enough time in between) to get it up and then use 20 volume to do touch ups around my color band. I used wella to tone and have white hair. Love artic fox but you vid is super amazing and informative!

How about a ”pastel” rainbow? It won’t stay on that long so if you don’t like it, you can basically just wash it off or just dye brighter colours on top
My hair is about a medium brown, I used this to lighten my hair and lift the previous color and it went fine! BUT I was insanely careful with it. I had coconut oil in my hair overnight and into the next day soaking in it and put the bleach over the oil, plus I only left it on for about 15 minutes cause that's all I needed. It definitely worked very quickly so I didnt need to leave it on for the recommended 30-45 minutes lol. Definitely worked great!
It looks much better. I used it and I really like better than the other bleach I used

hell, my hair is a level 2 and i only use 20 vol when i lighten my roots/colour xD slow and steady works! i can lift my hair to a level 10-11 in one sitting (dw i'm a stylist! xD)

Its drives me nuts, I've used 10 volume on people with level 2 and still achieved level 7/8 hi lites. It's how fast and invasive it works not the level achieved!! Bleach works with time.

There's a brand out there called my hd hairdresser, they have a bleach free hair dye remover. Discovered it on RUclips years ago and I'm surprised they're not as famous. It's helped get rid of my black box dyes so many times. And smells good compared color oops. A bit pricey.. bc it's shipped overseas and you can't find it on Walmart.com anymore.
I’m so glad you did a video on this. I’ve been wondering about it and I trust very few people when it comes to hair products. But I trust your opinion so maybe I’ll try it.
Im a professional and i have level 2 hair and i never go over 25 on the scalp :o and since we are professional we are waaaaay faster than someone doing it at home themselves, the difference in volume is by speed. 20 can do what 40 can with time. Hope this helps or gives insight not trying to step on anyones toes

I bleached my hair the other night! Came out a fairly even copper color other than hot roots and some banding. Wasnt bothered by that though. I wanted to do green hair but instead I'ma just do red
I LOVED having green hair it was my favorite color I've ever done!
You can still go green actually. My hair ended up being copper and I got blue hair simi permeant and it came out forest green. Think about how you would mix colors as a child blue and orange make green

Exactly what I thought! Can't believe they did that! Even with oils in it, still seems ridiculous they only have that one option and started with 35. Glad it worked out for you. I used age beautiful cream bleach for a while, but I hate having to struggle to get product out of containers like that, seems like powder would be much easier to measure and get out, I don't know...
Bought Arctic 🥶 🦊 from Sally’s and I love it. It made my hair so soft that I thought it was falling out lol. I kept it on for 70 mins though.

I would love to see how the back turned out!! (Cosmetologist in training) I would recommend doing the back first and then videoing the front because your front hairline is the most fragile and will break easier while the back is more resistant and harder to lighten (for most people) but your hair looks AMAZING and I LOVE your eye makeup ❤️❤️❤️ keep up the great work. It actually goes up to 80 vol. I don’t know who would use 80 but I’ve seen 50 vol at Sally. 🤯

Yeah my salon uses certain brands and we only have 40 I would only ever use 40 with olaplex and if it was needed and depends on the persons hair shape but I’m too scared to not use olaplex lol I also go as fast as possible when applying lightener
If you're talking about trionics higher and higher it's not super damaging you just have to watch like everything else. It's an enzyme developer so it's more expensive but it is not as aggressive on the hair, however it's not for use on the scalp. It's good for open air or even foil. It's also weird because it's 50-80 volume because it can lift that much with color, but I just use it with bleach

Surprisingly it didn't lift enough of my espresso brunette color it left it orange(i may not have lwft it on long enough, i got scared that if i left too long while trying to do all roots it would fall out)😬😬🥺, would not recommend on ends but roots yeah. It actually left my hair uber soft compared to what i normally use, but that could be because i used olaplex, and a collagen biotin conditioner. Waited a few days before dying it ritual and wrath from arctic fox. BtW, your make up is flawless!! Gorgeous!🙌

I use 50 volume developer since my sister in law can get it, i prefer it but it also depends on if you know how to protect your hair while bleaching. I tend to use coconut oil and bleach over it. 30 volume and lower doesn't really do mich to my hair, lifts maybe 2 shades.

So glad you finally got that orange out! I’m back to blonde now but a couple of months ago I had bright orange hair (my pfp) that I LOVED but once it started fading to a weird brown, I knew it had to go. Thing is, it was so tough to get it out and I ended up giving up and dyeing it over with a neon pink.
How long does it take you to bleach all your roots? (Full head) do you count 20 minutes after you finish even if it took you 35 to do all your head (so the first stroke is on for 55, and the last for 20)?

I purchased this a few weeks ago because it's Arctic Fox so I wanted to try it, and sounds amazing, etc etc. However, I just bleached my hair the other day, and I chickened out and ended up not using it. I just couldn't bring myself to use a 35 volume developer on my hair. I have wondered about mixing different volume developers- does mixing 35 and 10 make 25, or does it make 45? For some reason I assumed it would make it higher, so I never tried. My natural hair color is a little darker than yours, so maybe I'll try this on just my roots some day. I am surprised you had to use the whole kit to do just your roots, though. Honestly, I will probably not purchase this kit again, unless they come out with a wider range of kits with different volume developers in it.
U should do a review on the blonde brilliance bleach the express powder lighner it is my only go to bleach, my hair is naturally almost black and it lifts amazing
I only use blonde brilliance too! It does such a great job! They have helpful oils and such in it too. I feel like there is less damage with Blonde Brilliance!

Color oops made my hair feel better too. I think the pigment from the dye drys your hair out and removing that pigment just makes it feel a lot softer . Idk though, that's what I thought because after washing my hair like 5 times and not seeing any color coming out, my hair will feel better then too . Idk

Just out of curiosity why use color oops instead of the baking soda method?

I used baking soda & dandruff shampoo & left it on for only 20 mins & its dried out my hair SO much!! It did lift some blue pretty well, but I ended up waiting a whole extra week to continue lightening my hair bc of how dry it was.
For these videos, bleaching regrowth or dying your hair, pleeeeeeease talk more during application. It’s so satisfying but I also love the videos where you talk. Just a thought lol 🙇🏼♀️

I think rainbow roots will be a good look but only roots. rest of them will be a one color
