Which of these Stream Deck tricks did you not know about and which was your favorite?
twitch tools looks like it could offer a few features i've been looking for
I plan to get a stream deck once Ive gotten what I need for my setup. Its cool but I know its convenience
Only knew the extra Hotkeys, but i made some cool stuff with multiactions, the delay wasnt an issue for me. You make me smile when i watch your videos. Stay you, i really love your videos.
Had no idea about the function keys
The Window Mover Resizer and Twitch Tools Plugins seem to be pretty useful. I´ll go and try them out imidietly. Nice Video btw!
Tip from an old man who existed back when those f keys existed: shift + [f key] = f13 thru 24. So shift f1 is f13 and so on. So for those without a streamdeck this might be useful to you.
So I can do that without stream deck device but still use stream deck software using shift F# keys?
@@SloRush That's a good question. I'm not sure. I'm leaning towards probably not because the Streamdeck software is looking for a Streamdeck device to be attached to your computer. I guess it depends on your use case, but I just tried setting a [shift+f] key in the hotkeys settings in OBS. I doesn't recognize it as [f13-24], it just sees it as [shift+f1-12]. Then again, you can use any key combination you want as long as another application doesn't already have that combination set up.
@@StephenMorrison Okay thanks for the response. I'm currently trying to set up my new overlays so I'll probably have time tonight or tomorrow to see if it works.
I think you can still use it as an obs hockey. So you could use the shift f instead of a streamdeck
@@SloRush you can still use OBS, not Streamdeck.
This is the only productive StreamDeck video I have found. Congrats bro! I am a water resources engineer, and I run 7 to 8 apps simultaneously; I am afraid that ElGato people have not yet realized the gem they have under their noses. And they will continue to underutilize this nifty gadget until someone builds one that covers all bases across disciplines. There is so much untapped potential. This could literally run and manipulate multiple ASCII scripts with little work, just to mention something. I can't believe that Notepad is not part of the main menu. There are so many smart but computer illiterate people out there that could do so much with this thing; it is mind-boggling!

You're welcome.
thx xD
TYSM...I was determined not to type that out myself 😅 step one: "please be in the description...doh" step two: "please be in the comments...woohoo"
Thank you Bro.
I was fully prepared for basic "you can make a folder" tips. These were nothing like it! Respect!
Tip 1: You can link it to obs
You are absolutely next level my guy. Thank you!
Thank you for talking about the hot keys. I had NO idea about the extra keys, and now I've got my model expressions toggled onto them and my life is SO MUCH EASIER.
Dude.... this was amazing! I took so many notes to implement or research further! Top notch- thank you!
Just got mine last week and it's been a BLAST! These tips are going to take things to the NEXT LEVEL! Thank you, Nutty!
Fixing the multi action delay is a LIFE SAVER, absolutely pure gold that one. The delay was driving me NUTS
I have a lot of multi-actions on my stream deck and the delay tip really helped. Thanks for the great video!
I don't even have Stream Deck but still learned something new. Great video!
Excellent content! You just explained what I wanted to do with the stream deck from the start, thank you.
“Multi Action” is for automating a sequence of steps which is why there is a delay. One use is for data entry. E.g. go here, fill this out, hit tab 3 times, hit enter. For simultaneous actions, changing that delay globally is an interesting approach. Adding “delay” actions and setting them to 0 ms might override that global setting. May be worth a try.
Your tutorials are awesome. Not only do I learn new things for my stream, but I laugh my #$# off doing it. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
I just bought a streamdeck XL for my livestream virtual piano lounge.
I made my decision based on your videos, and can hardly wait to put it to the test.
Ive come to expect something from your videos, expect to hear of features and ideas i already know about, but also expect to hear about 1 3rd party application ive never heard of that I definitely have a use of. Appreciate your hard work!
An awesome video as per usual, Nutty. 😆 👍 👍
I'll definitely be utilising all of these hidden features for my own streams thank you for taking the time to highlight them. ☺
Cheers to you, my man! 🍻
I just want to say I am only 30 seconds into the video and you already hit the nail on the head LOL. just got a stream deck and can't wait to see what the rest of the video has to offer.

The F13-24 and Multi-Action delay tips were actually very good. Nice vid.
Another great video Nutty especially that awkward silence at the end 👌😁

Good work. Very informative and creative. Knowledge plus entertainment.
I feel personally attacked by the windows mover and resizer portion. Lol 🤣

Yes, I learned quite a few things. Thanks!
What a legend. Thanks man! Great video 🙌🏼
Great video buddy. Love the energy. Keep it up! :)
Yes! Very helpful video :D
Love your channel, has helped me grow my OBS world. Currently interviewing celebs all the time with Zoom and OBS and had a question. Is there any way to give my guests control of hotkey actions that will play multimedia or graphics from their end? Like if they click a Zoom Reaction/Emoji? Or some other way to post simple buttons on a webpage that coincide with my streamdeck? Thanks for any thoughts.
All great tips. For me studio automation is awesome! I’ll give it a try!
Yes. I learned about the function keys. Awesome. I had forgotten about those keys. Great videos. Great humor. Thank you. 👍
You are amazing Nutty, ty so much.
good to see you feeling better , love from norway

Great video did learn some and really awesome to mess around and make things more fun!
Genius, simple ideas. Thank you, very appreciated!
thanks nut man. very useful
This guys awesome. Brilliant video!
I discovered you this morning, and by the end of the day I will have seen all your videos. Kudos, nutty. Kudos.
Honestly same
great video, learned a lot and already implemented OBS hotkeys to F13/14! thank you!
I've been wondering if there was a way to control my rgb flood light so I'm excited to try out the IFTTT plugin! Thanks!
I haven't seen your other videos but I just wanted to comment - the stare at the end made me laugh. Thank you for that
I learned a lot, thank you.
Definitely like your videos so far, subbed and will be following
I am not yet ready for streaming, I have been doing my vids on RUclips so far but I am planning to do some livestreams soon. I always wondered if a streamdeck is needed or not and how the big names do their streams. Your video helped a lot and cleared things up. Dropped a like and a sub. Thank you!
best outro ever 🤣
Suggestion for the multi-action issue: create your macro using something like AHK and bind that to trigger off one of the F13-F25 keys. Then bind your streamdeck to that function key.
Great stufff... do you know how to use Right Left Modifiers ? doesnt seem to save the RT or LEFT in the key field... or allow entry after selection? Help
Thank You So Much!! I just got my Stream Deck XL and couldn't figure out how to toggle studio mode in SLOBS. You Rock!!
Nice work buddy. Cheers mate.
Very nice overview and inspiration ;)
Perfect nice ideas to boot. Your ideas are magic in a bottle. ;)
man that windows mover is really useful thanks!!
Nutty, some fantastic tips! The Windows Mover/Resizer is an absolute gamechanger for me, saves so much time and hassle. Thanks for your extremely helpful and entertaining videos. Joyfully!🎹
Wow, never thought I'd see you in the wild! Love your content!
@@DMFX1 Thanks so much. Yes, I really enjoy watching Nutty, som every helpful tips that I have already started to utilize already on my channel. Hope to see you soon. Joyfully!
YOU CAN SET GLOBAL MULTIACTION DELAY?! HOLY CRAP, THANK YOU!!!!
Studio automation is a game changer. ty
Sir, thank you for all these great tips! Unfortunately I cannot get the windows mover to work with a few programs like Streamlabs Chatbot and XSplit...it reads them and shows that they are there but wont move with the rest of the arranged windows like Chrome, StreaLabels, and even the StreamDeck window itself. No sure if those are support or not. Any idea of what the issue may be? Thank you!
Great video!
I did learn. Just got my streamdeck and looking forward to use it on my stream
I started watching this, honestly not expecting to see anything new that I've not seen / learned elsewhere.
BUT...the very first thing you talked about, the extra hotkeys, made me subscribe! I have different voices set up via OBS (I don't have money to pay extra for voice mod, and the freebie voices I'm not a fan of). But it required me going into my audio filters in OBS any time I wanted to use them, because I couldn't figure a way to set it up on the Streamdeck. So thank you!!!!
Also, added the Twitch Tools, for the shoutout function. (The giveaway one still doesn't help me, since I want my subscribers to have extra luck...so guess I'm sticking with Nightbot for that).
Yes I did learn from you and thanks dude!
Just got the XL, integrating Home Assistant is by far the most powerful home automation integration. I have it turning off/on lights, can open/close my garage door, tell me temperature sensors, control my home air conditioner, etc. Since HA itself can control anything, that means just one integration to the Stream Deck can then read/control anything.
I am using AutoIT scripts like I previously mentioned. Using those for work where if I press a key and Outlook or Teams is already open, it brings it to focus. If it's not open it launches it. Rather than only moving or only launching like the built in native apps.
If This Than That as been around a long time, and it "works" but is not as good as many new things, and it requires cloud/internet while these other ways can be 100% local and work without cloud services or even working internet.
This was dope! Thank you. Is it possible to do those actions like twitch onto RUclips gaming?
I have some buttons to change my audio device in windows but is there a way to change the sound card used in an application? Like Zoom or zhumu?
Well done Nutty...I love learning new tricks...I don't stream (yet) thx keep doing you
Hell yea dude. I learned a lot. your fricking awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks dude.
