What shocks me is people in power know whats going on and they laugh about it.
The fact that we as South Africans know how corrupt are our leaders and keep on voting them into power, it's a clear indication that we are comfortable and love the current unpleasant conditions. We have failed and keep on failing ourselves, yet we are very quick to blame others, while we ourselves (South Africans) are the architects of our conditions.
Unfortunately there are too many people who are illiterate or don't know anything about voting or are convinced by word of mouth. They will believe the most unrealistically things because it sounds good, or they favor the person . Five years for a ruling party to rule is far to long. There should be an election every two or three years so that if the ruling party does not do what they promise or improve the country they can be voted out. It might cost the country millions of rand for the election, but it will be worth it compared to the billions being stolen.🤷😭
