How to Cook Tofu | 6 QUICK & EASY WAYS

    RECIPES AND MACROS:
    BBQ BAKED TOFU
    Makes 2 servings
    Macros: 20g carb/ 8g fat/ 20g protein
    Ingredients:
    1 block extra firm tofu, cut into strips
    5 tablespoons BBQ sauce
    Oven temperature 405*F, Bake for 15 minutes.
    Cover in BBQ sauce.
    ----------------
    SIMPLE TOFU SCRAMBLE
    Makes 2 servings
    Macros on it’s own: 6g carbs/ 3g fat/ 16g protein
    Ingredients:
    1 block extra firm tofu, crumbled
    1/4 cup nutritional yeast
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon turmeric (for color)
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    Cook over medium heat.
    TOFU SCRAMBLE AVOCADO SAIURKRAUT BAGEL
    Macros: 69g carbs/ 11g fat/ 28g protein
    ----------------
    TOFU CHOCOLATE MOUSSE PARFAIT
    Makes 1 serving
    Macros: 28g carbs/ 5g fat/ 10g protein
    Ingredients:
    1/2 block silken tofu
    1 tablespoon cacao powder
    1 tablespoon maple syrup
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    pinch of salt
    100g fresh raspberries
    1/2 cup granola
    -------------------
    PAN FRIED GARLIC TOFU
    Makes 2 servings
    Macros: 1g carb/ 5g fat/ 10g protein
    Ingredients:
    1/2 block sprouted high protein tofu, sliced
    2 tablespoons liquid aminos
    1 tablespoon liquid smoke
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    Cook over medium heat
    5 minutes on each side
    ___________________
    GRILLED TOFU
    Makes 2 servings
    Macros: 15g carbs/ 11g fat/ 20g protein
    Ingredients:
    1 block sprouted high protein tofu, sliced
    1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
    High-heat.
    Grill for 5 minutes on each side. Cover in sweet chilli sauce.

    AIR FRIED TOFU
    Makes 2 servings
    Macros: 1g carb/ 5g fat/ 10g protein
    Ingredients:
    1/2 block sprouted high protein tofu, diced
    Air-Fry at 400F for 10 minutes

    Add kala namak to the tofu scramble to give more of an eggy taste. I think this is my favourite vlog of yours. Love the different tofu recipes. Plus, your body is GOALS ❤

    OMG.... added a scoop of organic canned pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice & 1/2 scoop of vegan protein to the silken tofu. Sooooooooooooooo good :) Thanks for the idea.

    Great videos, thank you! Did you know that you can freeze tofu first and then thaw and bake/cook? It is delicious, it gives the tofu a totally different and wonderful texture. 💗

    I've started eating tofu mousse weekly now because of this video. It's filling, tasty and doesn't leave a gross, fatty taste in my mouth. I even have my husband on board.
    Recipe: standard tofu, soaked dates, cocoa, salt & vanilla essence.

    Love this!! Sprouts came out with a high protein one too!! It’s a tad cheaper than wildwood. Tastes great! I use turmeric and black salt on my scrambles! Thanks Nat!!

    Love this video!!! I was surprised to see that you baked the tofu prior to marinating it in the BBQ sauce, instead of the other way around. But these recipes all look amazing. PS only nutritional yeast that is labeled as fortified with B12 contains that nutrient. I happen to have a non-B12 version and take a sublingual B12 supplement.

      If you want to skip making your own... for BQQ sauce the 365 brand from Wholefoods is amazing. The sweet chili from Thai kitchen brand or Trader Joes. For the granola... sometimes I buy the KIND chocolate granola.

    Your're looking great BTW :-) Made your pumpkin mousse last night (it IS yours, isn't it??). It was sooo good, I made a second batch (I did refrigerate most of it in individual ramekins - couldn't totally pig out at one sitting!). Loved this video (but I do tend to like my tofu a little less crunchy).

    Thanks very much for putting this together. Has no idea what to do with silken or dessert tofu and learned some new tricks with preparing form tofu. When you weight out tofu for meal prepping should it be weighed before or after being cooked ?

    I had to use cooking oil spray so that my tofu doesn’t stick and get my pans and grill ugly and a hot mess. Do you you anything to not make the tofu stick to the grill?

    it is not good for most people that have weight or health issues to have all that salt or any sugar ! js gg or gv
