For the tofu bacon, try using a wire cheese slicer. It makes the slices thin and uniform.
Perfect timing....I have a block of frozen tofu that I wanted to use and needed some inspiration!!
I make a delicious Key lime pie with silken tofu....my Dad is a meat and potato guy but he did tried the pie and loved it, he always says can you make that cheese cake again ...who am I to correct him.💜
I been addicted to tofu puffs tossed in buffalo sauce, sprinkle with everything bagel seasonings and cooked in the air fryer. Silken tofu is good for tofu scramble too. You freeze it 1st and then squeeze out the liquid and add to a pan with little cashew cream or plant base milk and other seasonings.
The tofu musubi was SO GOOD! And I really want to try that mousse! I tried to make choc mousse with aquafaba once and it was kinda a fail 😂 but the texture of yours looks perfect.
We made it and it's so delicious! My husband, who is NOT a tofu-eater, lol, loved it and even made it himself once when he was craving it.
The chicken karaage looked amazing!!!

I went to a Yuba Seike restaurant Kyoto, Japan where every dish was tofu-based. It was a seven course gourmet meal. I especially love the sheets of tofu skin! So versatile!

one of my favorite super lazy recipes with tofu is to use silken tofu, slice it up, cover with soy sauce and sesame oil to taste and eat with rice and/or veggies. got it from cheaplazyvegan and it's soo good when I'm craving tofu but don't feel like cooking or just want to eat it cold.
Hi guys🙋🏻I just found your channel and am so excited👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻I like tofu so much but my husband won’t have anything to do with it so I thought “fine you eat what you want I’m tired of eating food that degrades my health anymore then it already is🤣🤣🤣I’m a 77 year old woman and I was a vegetarian in the 70’s and 80’s got divorced and my two girls went vegetarian. Then years later I met my present husband and after two years slowly went back to eating animals😡!! So here you are and I’m ready to go back to eating a healthier foods.

Great video! I've never seen super-firm tofu in the stores where I live, so I'm wondering if double freezing extra firm tofu might work for the bacon. I'm totally going to make the chocolate mousse. I have some silken tofu in the fridge, and I'm loving the simplicity of your recipe. Thank you for the pressing tip using the tofu packaging. I never thought to do that!

My husband loves musubi and I need to master the tofu to get rid of the cans of spam in my pantry! Will be nice for me to enjoy musubi too! Will be a real personal win if I can make it happen.

Thanks for the recipes. When water freezes it crystalizes and expands. It is the ice crystals that alter the texture of the tofu when you freeze it. Ciao!

When I went vegan 3 years ago, I ate all the same things only veganised, with everything available today that's super easy.
I now moved on and have many different things that I'd never tried before that I eat regularly, becoming vegan actually broadened my food horizons 😁😋.
Finding which vegan milks you like and what works best in tea, coffee, over cereal etc is the challenge 😁😃.

Everything looks amazing, would love to try🥹🌱sadly here in Europe there is not such a big variety in tofu🥺 only one I can get is firm and the prices are rising🥲 there is no asian store near me and I can only find silken tofu there🫠 but I guess you can also make all the recipes with „normal“ tofu, but of course the texture will be different🥺

If you stack heavy objects ontop of the tofu. It will fall off! I found the best way to press the tofu is to get 2 matching plastic containers. Put the tofu in the bottom container. Fill the 2nd container with water and put the lid on it and place it on top of the tofu. Obviously, don't put the lid on the container holding the tofu.

that karaage tofu tho 😍👌🏼 also Jasmine do you know if the Billie razor is recycled plastic? I’ve used a metal razor for years but I never leave the shower without tiny cuts up and down my legs 😂

I think the karaage can be called double double tofu karaage because you freeze it twice and deep fry it twice.

Silken tofu is also great for smoothies. I don't like the way banana will take over the flavor, and I don't like to use dairy. The tofu adds thst nice creaminess and lets the fruit flavor shine through.

Hi, if I cannot find super firm tofu (only firm where I live), do I need to press (and how long should I press it) and drain before making any of the recipes?
Ok, living in Nicaragua and it isn’t easy to find tofu all the time. Learning to make lentil tofu. Can I use that with these recipes ?
When you freeze and thaw the medium-firm tofu, I noticed you leave it in the original packaging. After thawing the first time, do you just refreeze again in the same package? Or take it out and remove the water first before freezing again?
