Excited to watch the next videos. My Finnish grandmother made these rugs. BUT, they were slippery on the floor. Do you put something on the bottom so they don't slip on a floor?
I have vintage hardwood floors that have a natural grip. So no, I don't use anything under my rugs. It's no good to have rugs on the floor that are going to send you on a magic carpet ride, so you could use that white waffle rug mat and cut a piece to fit under the rug. A quick search and I see hardware stores have a variety of solutions - rug tape, carpet tape, grip strips, rug anchors and similar products. Someone also suggested running a line of silicone caulking in strategic places - a clear formula should be unobtrusive.
I had no sound at all in this video in my headphones. I removed the headphones and used the laptop speakers, and I had sound. Just a tip for someone with the same problem.
Volume is bad...very bad. It's pretty bad that you didn't listen to the video before you uploaded it. Your mic connection must not be working. Everyone is going to have to use captions.
Oh wow, just found your channel now! I'm so excited for this series!!
Welcome aboard! I would love to see your rug. Send me a photo or tag me on IG @textileindie
I can hear you fine- carry on! 😊
Yay, thank you!

Good tip, thank you.
Bad sound. In headphones all the sound is on the right, no sound on the left AT ALL.
Thanks for the feedback, we'll work on that!
I'm getting left and right in headphones, could be your end.
