This is beautiful!! What kind of sticks do you use to put all around the outside?
I believe it is therapeutic. I was one time in a physiotherapy rehab having broken my leg and I decided to use my free time to knit and it was very effective for my mental health and concentration training. ❤
@@pattymc614 It may be the iron wire she mentions in the comment and under the video, since it does bend. I"m wondering how many she is using, an even or uneven number of them.

If you drilled two small holes in each side of the plate first, you could run a strong thin wire up to and through the handles. It would make the handles much sturdier if carrying something heavy in the basket. :)

Lovely basket. I like how you imbedded the handles in the weaving. I see so many people glueing them on at the end and I always think that eventually they will fall off or not hold the weight of what is in the basket.

@@almudena5885 I would roll up some paper or slice a straw and roll it tighter. Or anything else you can think of and connect with glue. You don't have to follow her exactly. With your own imagination you can make amazing things. 🌺

You are beyond talented and creative. They're stunning. This video is obviously for advanced basket makers. I've never made one before, so I was lost at the how much, when and how you knew the placements & lengths of the various materials. If you don't speak English, it would have been helpful to have someone who does, have the info on the video, or below. Every time you pointed at something, I was wondering what you were doing. I sm in awe of your talent though.
