Velvet Revolver sounded more like the wild and aggressive Guns of the 80s than the Guns of today. Fucking awesome badass band!! Duff's bass is fucking great
That’s literally word for word what I was thinking while watching this. The man ruled the stage. This is just an unbelievable performance. Never saw him with VR but I was lucky enough to see him with STP from about 20 ft away, dead center on the floor of 2,300 seat venue (the Warfield) in San Francisco in 2010, a few years before he passed. My brother flew up from Texas because the show he’d planned to see there got canceled after Scott went back into rehab. Wasn’t sure which Scott we’d get since he’d just gotten back out, but we got the sober one. They were awesome, and Scott just fucking killed it the whole show. What. A. Performer. Still one of the best shows I’ve seen. And the Giants had won the World Series a few miles away about an hour before the show started, so the crowd was well lubricated and in an exceptionally good mood.
Been awhile, I forgot just how freaking incredible this band was! Probably the best of all the superbands, they were just such a powerful group that wrote classic songs! Amazing band!
First of all, They’re not a Super Band, they’re a bunch of semi washed up rockers. They’re not playing anything that would get a mosh pit going, their not in touch with the strong rhythm’s, bass , riffs, etc. that get young crowds going today. Young concert crowds don’t want a guitar solo, they want a cool rhythmic riff that builds into a frenzy
@@anandmorris Well you can’t please everyone . What’s your definition of a “Super Group “?? To me it’s not a bunch of Semi washed up musicians that got booted out of the actual good band. @soupystevesguitarartsextra3697 they didn't get booted out, they left. Whatever it is you are "seeing", its is a complete fabrication of your mind.
