And 17 tamed all of them, meaning he could take them all on at once and win. Add that with 17s infinite energy and thise fights would go on until the Cell Jr are completely exhausted.

I've recently just got into dragon ball and after finishing dbs android 17 has been my favorite character so far I love his cool/serious character but that he also has a funny personality and can have fun messing with people

Now think of it as game if you have don't need sleep and let's pretend the cell Jr's don't get stronger and say they are level 20. At first you'll get stronger let's say 17 is level 17 at first. Of course you start by getting good amount of exp. No when he's past their level he the exp is less. But since he doesn't need sleep or food, he's can grind the whole day, while protecting the park, from poachers. It will be slow but for 10 years and to catch up to level 130 with infinite energy you proably can do that
It would be cool if they revisit the island that 17 lives on with the older version of Goten and Trunks so they can train with the cell juniors and can practice their fusions on them
Before we got this chapter I always wanted a Cell Jr to return and mature with a vendetta against Gohan. A similar dynamic to Piccolo and Goku. But this is okay too
this is probably the closet we get to Perfect Cell coming back as a recurring character in some form like Frieza, though in this case Cell Jr.s who are basically reforme thanks to 17. Now it's the matter if they want utilize the Cell Jrs in future stories
The big thing about Androids was also their infinite stamina. 17 and 18 were not as strong as some other members of the team, but they were ones that would be able to fight even, if others were out. 17 wasn't as destructive in power as other people in the top 4 of the competition, but even at his level of Cell Saga, he was strong enough to be more than a nuisance for people like Jiren and his stamina was enough to always be able to outlive other fighters. I feel like even more important part about his training against the juniors was that they obviously constant sneak attack helped him create new strategies and fighting styles that helped him fight more specialised fighters of the competition.

Something to consider is how potential affects people’s base power. 17 never trained to be as strong as he was, that became his base power. Therefore, by training from that improved base power made his rise to power much more impressive. IIRC, Vegeta scolds Cell (Semi-Perfect) for not training, saying he wouldn’t be beaten if he trained rather than eating humans. We could see it like how Freeza was 120m power level with no training and just a few months made him as strong as Goku.

They could also theoretically achieve some sort of higher forms due to their genetic makeup. They could potentially become some kind of amalgam super saiyan blue black frieza orange piccolo. While unlikely it would be entirely probable that they have achieved some level much higher than when they fought in the cell games. Who knows what power they possess but it is quite plausible that they are incredibly strong.
Mildly terrifying that we have a possibility of seven Cell Jrs growing up at some point into full Cells with all his power and potential. Granted that by Super a fair number of Z Warriors could deal with them if they got bad but one alone could be a major danger to Earth if they broke bad at the wrong time. 😅

My thing is yes and no, because there is the assumption that just because they are cyborgs they have no way to grow. They are partially organic too, thus they can grow in power. In the manga 17 fights ssj 3 goku which is cool. But in the anime I always took it as since ssj blue is all about ki control. You can raise and lower it very freely.

My thing is yes and no, because there is the assumption that just because they are cyborgs they have no way to grow. They are partially organic too, thus they can grow in power. Which makes me circle back to howcome their infinite energy in Android saga didn't make them stronger, I like to use a pipe comparison. You see you can have a well of infinite water, however the amount of water you get is determind by the power if the pump and the size of the pipe. He gets stronger, the bigger the pipe and pump so more of his infinate energy he can use.

In the manga 17 fights ssj 3 goku which is cool. But in the anime I always took it as since ssj blue is all about ki control. You can raise and lower it very freely.
cell jrs are my favorite
The androids were made to be more powerful than humans and to be able to get stronger faster than average, combine that with training with a ton of cell juniors which have the same dna as cell meaning that they also are constantly getting stronger and can get zenkai boosts as well as eventually obtain a super form like cell did. I can could see him becoming one of the strongest in the series, especially since he had been training with them for what, 10 years? Those cell juniors probably dwarf the original perfect cell in his super form while they’re in their base forms
You gotta remember. These guys have like infinite stamina and cells love to fight. They probably battled a LOT

well it does make sense because at base without any trading there were stronger than super Saiyan Vegeta and Goku. so after a few years of training I would expect that he would be strong

The fact that the Cell Juniors exist AT ALL is such a cop out like

My question is moreso: why can they train, like the androids? It just doesn’t make sense to me bc if they have no ki then technically they’re not lifeforms. But if Dr Gero did put like some sort of synthetic muscle and synthetic ki, I do think 17 could’ve reached Goku blue by just fighting 7 cell jrs bc after all that’s 3.5 times cell power or more since they retain regeneration and Zenkai boosts
Fighting solar system level characters for 10 years who also would have gotten stronger would definitely make you super strong. Let’s not forget what frieza did by himself for 10 years

The manga makes it more believable by 17 being equal to ssj3 instead and getting overpowered by the divine power ups

I wish they used cell jrs to boost goten and trunks i mean use those literal plot convenience when its available. I mean goten and trunks did jump in the brawl the adults were having on planet beerus!
