I imagine Bardock would actually just end up living on monster Island. It'd be pretty funny too, since he basically got kidnapped, but it would also help since the group could actually have a connection to 17 early on, outside of 18 that is.

I feel like this is an amazing change of pace. Don't get me wrong, I love all the what-ifs of the regular DB stories and arcs. But a different take on everything is refreshing.. we need new arcs and stories..

the thing i really like about this particular video, is that unlike a lot of other what-if's i usually watch, this one feels completely original, like it's not just a slightly altered story, but YOUR story.
too many stories have mostly the same kinds of outcomes, or regardless of how the story pans out, it's still the same bad guys, the same heroes, etc. etc. not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you see certain characters turn good or bad, but this one right here i already see focusingnot so much on everything we've already seen before, but a true bardock original

This is a really good what if and I love your channel Smugstick! I listen to it all the time while I am working and have enjoyed pretty much all of your stories! Thank you for putting in so much hard work to make a channel like this for people to enjoy. I like stories with bardock and this one is awesome, I love the developments with Majin Buu. My only real question is about Android 17 at the end. Would Android 17 not have data on the Oozaru form from Dr. Gero? He would probably recognize a transformed Saiyan. At least that's my thinking. Very possible there is some detail in manga or anime to shoot that down, but that's what popped up into my head when I saw 17 at the end.

Hi, nice work ! I have an idea for you :
Krilin and A18 are stuck in the future and have to fight future A17 and A18 to save the teen Trunks. In the present, Trunks, A17 and a Cell Jr decide to team up to rescue them with the time machine. Realizing he can't beat krilin, A17 revive A16 and other androids to absob their batteries and become mad and stronger. Future A18 realizes her brother goes too far and tries to fight him but is injured. Krilin find her and rescue her that makes other A18 jealous. Future Cell appears and absorbs A18 by surprise and escapes. Krilin and future A18 chase after him, but after his transformation, he has become stronger than in the Cell arc. While he was fighting Krilin, Cell realizes a Cell Jr is hugging his leg and saying "Daddy !". Cell shakes his leg to makes Cell jr let go but A17 and Trunks arrive and beat him. As he was trying to make a bomb to destroy Earth as Frieza, he is in pain and explodes from inside, A18 just used her power to free herself. Future A18 explains to the others they have to stop the future A17, they don't see Cell is regenerating and escaping discretly. To continue...

I wasn't expecting 17 to become involved in this story this early cool. 🙂 Only thing weird here I would think that the Z-Fighters would've noticed a Great Ape Bardock going on rampage. 🤨 I'm hoping Gohan still does Z-Sword on the Supreme Kai's World as a way for him to visit/train with Goku, as a reward for helping in stopping Majin Buu, but also so Elder Kai isn't stuck inside the Z-Sword. 👍 My favorite part was Gohan and Bardock fighting against one another. Anyways another really good start to this new series, and looking forward to the next part soon.

Just a little correction, rosè is not akin to SSJ2, it's akin to SSB, as the manga already illustrated, Goku black learned regular SSJ2 forms before turning rosè.
I don’t get how even, Gohan was even with bardock I don’t think bardocks super saiyan power level could arrive to the billions
I hope in this one, you have chi chi give birth to a daughter. If Possible. Also I that that android 17 and Bardock can have a future friendships. This will make this what if, very different from many others.
I don’t really like that the majority of Bardock stories pretty much never have Gine mean anything. I think SaladSaiyan did one of Bardock going with Kakarot and that frankly made me a little mad that Gine just stayed behind to be killed by Freeza. She’s such an interesting Saiyan given how empathetic and loving she is compared to them and I love the few stories that actually explore how she could have impacted the rest of the universe. To that end, I would absolutely love to see a story where either she alone is sent with Kakarot, or where both her and Bardock go
I actually have my own little what if I’ve been playing in my head for a while of her and Bardock going and hitting some kind of turbulence along the way, with Bardock ending up saved from the wreck of his pod by Grandpa Gohan, and Gine found by either Tao Pai Pai or Master Shen, with her having memory loss from her crash and the Crane not being nearly as careful in healing her. They mold her into a deadly weapon, as even tho she’s much weaker than the average Saiyan, just by having grown up on Vegeta and having taken part in some planet conquering, she is still much stronger than most earthlings. That darkness permeates a lot of who she ends up becoming, compounded by both Raditz and Kakarot being killed by Freeza which results in even more darkness from her being terrified of losing her family again, it’s a whole thing. She even gets possessed by Babidi, who uses the latent fear and hate from her past to set her off kinda how Broly does in that movie. Oh and Tien plays a massive role as essentially a younger brother to her who understands her fears a lot more than even Bardock does most of the time, cuz I love Tien and I wish he was more important :3
