Sure, I just priced a week worth of work in Glasgow for one of my customers, so if they will get a job, I will be there. Unfortunately I do not have a time frame on when it will happen as it is a part of a larger project
Love the accent! My guess is Scottish/Russian? Apologies if I'm wrong. Anyway I have a 13plate Crafter that is starting to go. It's ex rental so came with 100k miles worth of dinks and knocks. I've posted this on other vids but I have drowned where the stainless side door track meets the body in a water displacer (WD40 or something like) as this is another rot point. There are vids about cleaning the s**t traps out behind the front wheel arches and, as you have shown, clearing the rear drain holes. I've just finished sealing the trim clips to stop the ingress of roadwater, spray and muck (see plenty of vids on how to). As I posted elsewhere, I couldn't understand how so much water was coming into the van BUT I had a lightbulb moment 💡. As you drive there is a pressure difference between inside and outside. Obviously if the pressure is less in the van the mucky, salty roadspray will be sucked in, even uphill with the help of capillary action. We know that Germany can produce some of the finest engineering and designs in the world. So I disagree about poor design. It's not actually poor design it's built in obsolesence - VW/Merc want it to rot so you buy another van 💰

Great work!! About to start the journey myself and your videos have saved me so much time!! Thanks. Question - In wheel archers, did you put Grey Stripe Seam Sealer directly on the Zinga coat, or did you put a layer of epoxy primer between the two?
Are you sure they didn’t design the body that can double up as water tank? Just so if you are stuck in desert you could survive on the water “stored” in wheel arches etc
First of all thank you for supporting people of Ukraine! The tip size is 2mm I can not remember pressure but it will be different on your particular gun. If you delete Zinga as per manufacturers recommendations it will flow nicely. It is extremely fine and is not fast to form a sedament.
There was little cracks in my anti chip coating as I put too much of it in one go without allowing to dry property. So once it dried and small cracks appeared I filled them with the seam sealer
@@petercrockett1801 to be honest I am struggling to remember now. Part of the reason for those videos is to give my self reference if I ever have to do something similar again.
It*s surprising, that a Mercedes, Sprinter would rust, unless the vanwas near a place where there is sand /salt, which basically eat the metal, annother issue is the amount of water that drained out , usually when they design cars /vans, they have, flow holes so the water doesn*t collect in one spot, unless the holecwas clogged or if when they repaired the damage covered the hole, that would explain the amount of water collected in one spot, as a suggestion I would make a type of drain hole so the water does not collect in that area, good job,👌👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
There is a lot of seawater lifted onto the shore with strong winds, so it is contributing to rust issues a lot. However the original paint on those vans only 0.3mm. Yes, there are drain holes in the body but they were completely choked with dirt.
You are right, in that year all bodies made in the same place and it looks like they everything they could to make sure that vans will rust. My dads Peugout 405 made in 1992 and there is not a spot of rust on the car. The accent is hilarious for Ukrainian :) but probably good example of how two cultures can be integrated together. Thanks for the comment!
It's like Merc/VW are deliberately building Sprinters/Crafters really bad so you buy another one in a couple of years time. You don't get any rust issues with it's other rivals like the Peugeot Boxer Renault Master. They are built to last.
Thanks! A little correction, the accent is Ukrainian, not Russian for most people around the world there is no difference however it is a huge difference for Ukrainian people due to Russian aggression against the whole Ukrainian culture.

Many people would do the same. I have everything in the van layed out in the way that works for me. You can see it in this video ruclips.net/video/GZiAVqb2SYo/видео.html in addition to that once everything is loaded I I go to the job van is 3.8T and that is way to much load for the small 2.0l engine that modern vans have under the bonnet. I much prefer to stick with older and simpler 2.5l engine rather then deal with tween turbo nonsense of new engines. The other reason is that I did not want to buy a ,,cat in the bag,, with the money that I could afford to spend I could not buy brand new van, all second hand vehicles could bring some benefits and some unknown problems. I say stick with the devil you know. Thanks for visiting the channel! Have a nice one!
