If you could only ride a tenere comfortably for an hour I would get your doctor to check you for piles 😂, I'm 65yrs old and can ride mine for hours, I've had a lot of bikes over the years, and none of them beat the tenere ergonomics and comfort
Ive found this to bed a brilliant sealed road and gravel road bike. Ten hour ride no problem at all. Very comfortable , I'm 5'10. Excellent fuel range. And no chain to oil is just brilliant ❤
So you think you could ride that bike for at least an hour comfortably LOL. I have a 2017 and I love it I could spend all day in that saddle. I would have to describe the Super 10 like a high end SUV it’s not super fast but it’s fast enough and it has tractor like power it’s basically the SUV of motorcycles. And I love it.
I have a Yamaha 2017 Super Tenere Ray and although not as refined with all the high-tech electronics as the BMW GS the Yamaha in all its simplicity is a great bike very reliable and capable and at a more affordable price tag not to mention the maintenance is not as critical and comes at longer intervals the Yamaha super 10 is definitely not a fail but it may not be for some of you Bike snobs out there who are interested in just high-tech and tons of horsepower even know you know you can’t use all of that anyways.
You have to have a deep knowledge and understanding about ADV bike to see why Super Tenere is the best ADV bike in the market. Many reviewers have no clue as to what ADV bike is all about - nor have done any kind of real ADV trips.
Overall this bike is a failure saying as a yamaha fan This bike was meant to compete with GS1250 or 1200 but it is nowhere near that I really hope they bring big improvements and weight reduction on their 1200 tenere even redesign it I want something more better and reliable than GS1250 from Yamaha
The only thing where the gs is better is weight. What you forget is to get the price tag in perspective for me as a package the yamaha is ahead of the game here. The price difference alone pay for yamaha services. The gs has all kinds of issue once you get to 80000 miles.
Most reliable bike ever built. Very easy to ride for about 6 foot tall persons.
I like the 901. But reliability, the S10 beats all the bikes you mentioned. No valve check for over 26k miles! I got the S10. It’s well-balanced too!
