I tried out this and it turned well. I have a godox T350S TTL flash for my sony a6000 but it doesn't have an flash exposure compensation option on the flash unit. I had to go into the camera menu to do that. I hope to see more night photography videos on your channel. I am specifically interested in LED light photography using some inexpensive LED light sets. Thank you

Thanks Andrew and Demi! Super tutorial. Before I bought my DSLR I was using my Nikon F90s and an SB-15 flash. I used to tape a piece of lens cleaning tissue to the face of the flash to diffuse. That diffused and I figure, cut the power of the flash by at least 3/4 of s stop. Seemed to work.

Love your videos Andrew. Just a small note - the little card at the back actually doesn't make the light source bigger - it's about the same size - or smaller. Using a larger bounce card will help greatly. I'd go with both a diffuser (like stofen) and a large bounce card strapped to the flash works great. Also you can use a 1/4 or 1/2 CTO on your flash to warm it up (if the surrounding lights are warm) - that gets it closer to the ambient light. Finally - if you can go off camera - then you have tons of options with small soft boxes etc + your light looks more natural - coming from an off camera source.

Thanks Andrew and Demi! Super tutorial. Before I bought my DSLR I was using my Nikon F90s and an SB-15 flash. I used to tape a piece of lens cleaning tissue to the face of the flash to diffuse. That diffused and I figure, cut the power of the flash by at least 3/4 of s stop. Seemed to work.

Love your videos Andrew. Just a small note - the little card at the back actually doesn't make the light source bigger - it's about the same size - or smaller. Using a larger bounce card will help greatly. I'd go with both a diffuser (like stofen) and a large bounce card strapped to the flash works great. Also you can use a 1/4 or 1/2 CTO on your flash to warm it up (if the surrounding lights are warm) - that gets it closer to the ambient light. Finally - if you can go off camera - then you have tons of options with small soft boxes etc + your light looks more natural - coming from an off camera source.
