Really loved this all the way through, first watch of the channel. What a decent dude, so unbelievably humble at his sheer beast mode, "what the f**k!" summed up that drop situation haha. Really nice vid, nicely shot. Love it. Cheers
Those numbers without structured training or nutrition are insane. Great he loves what he does as a professor but also a shame he didn't go pro just to see how far he would have gone in that space
Not sure how he'd fare as a pro. James Piccoli did beat him on the biggest KOM in Montreal and seems to be just average on the pro tour. His FTP is definitely world class, but other pros too and can produce it after very long rides which chances are he can't do it. His job is a much much better bet for his family.
I miss these climbs, used to be in NDG and this stuff was at my doorstep almost... Also anyone else subconsciously hate Rowan after seeing him on your head unit so many times? Lol guy's such a beast

I think the FTP charts need to be reimagined lol! First min of the climb - 546w or about 10.5w/kg (@52kg) - that's world class level shit right here. As for the whole climb 4:28 - 408w or about 7.84 w/kg! (max 5min in the chart is 7.60w/kg lol). While this effort was 30sec shorter, its still insane stats!
