Great video! As a grain cart and combine operator, the unsung heroes of the harvest are still the grain cart operators as they keep the machines rolling and the efficiency high. You should note how close the operators need to get to the operating equipment and trucks.
steinwaymodelb .. Good eye! I noticed that too. It seems that most operators have a foot or so of the header outside of the row of beans. Maybe it is because of a difference in the width of rows of beans and/or the width of the header. Interesting. I’d be interested in your theory.
We run a johndeere 8370rt on our kinze 3660 asd planter and brent grain cart. They are nice machines and they ride smooth. We are currently looking into buying another one to pull a vertical tillage tool with.
Nice looking set up buy those bean looked great for 2nd crop seems like we're getting away from good old crop rotation methods so soil compaction has been come a big issues and not plowing as deep as you could but I can see were no till can be better also far less traffic on the fields but compaction sure can become a big deal if not delt with
Hearing the guidance system constantly beeping & chirping in the tractor had me rather confused. The active guidance as well as seeing how heavily used the ground outside of the fields was, I figured by the end of it that it had to be something like a controlled traffic farm(not that the name would've come to me - it seems to be a little more niche than your no till and strip till trends).
Do you get to see any other crops harvested such as Sunflowers, barley, oats. Don't get me wrong I love all your vids, but I was just curious Thanks for another great vid
There’s no doubt about it that tracks are the only way to go to fight all that compaction And for when you have to harvest and muddy conditions he just can’t beat the tracks
Gene Chronister I’m looking at getting one to put on the planter, and was wondering how they are for roading.. Particularly if you see a lot of wear to the tracks. Also, how are they for cornering ? Thanks
Greetings from africa sir, hope you are doing fine, i am still waitting for what you promised , to bring a video of RICE HARVESTING, thanks sir and be blessed
Vít Petřík The double cropping is actually beneficial. The wheat straw provides cover for the soybeans and holding in moisture and the soybeans provide nitrogen for the next years corn crop

Using every inch of that header - gotta love GPS!

As always another excellent video!
Awesome Video!!
I've noticed them MacDon headers in a few videos. They seem to be a popular choice. It would be cool to learn more about them.
Millennial Farmer should have cut a check for that S-780 he was testing on his farm, very nice machine.
Great video! Love the John Deere, that grain hauler is awesome. Thanks for sharing!
great work
I design axles for the large tractors out of Waterloo so It's awesome to see how they're used!
12andy96 that’s cool I hauled 4 axles out Waterloo one time brought to Virginia, think they were going in miner scopes
Wow that is neat. I enjoy seeing your work at work in the fields.
Me and the boy loved seeing that tracked cart and tractor zipping across the field so quick.
Good video!
It's amazing how quiet the modern machines are. If you enjoy seeing green equipment you make like my videos
Love these videos. Thank you.

Nice crop of wheat beans, thanks BTP 😎
👍👍
Enjoyed watching John Deere farm equipment🚜👍
👍👍
Looks like the same farm doing controlled traffic from previous videos. Hows significant is their yeild bump from that practice in the operation
Good eye and memory. It is the same farm. I do not know the data on the yield bump but it has worked out well.

@@bigtractorpower Sure will! Thanks!
I wonder how long it will be before the grain carts are self propelled, negating the need for $300,000 tractors to operate them?

Thank you for watching. There will be a rice video. I am so busy filming fall harvest and tillage I have not had time to produce it.
@@bigtractorpower Thanks sir and remain blessed
As for non-farmer myself, i wonder, if this double crop technique isn't bad for soil in long-term? Anyway, nice video :)

Hi
Hi. Thanks for watching.
Really, who would think the carts would be powered! Damn r world is getting dumb
It is a very common question that comes up in each grain cart video. I try to address the questions people ask.
