Had fluid and filter change at local Dodge dealership 52,000miles and all was well for about 5000 miles.. Battery dies and had to jumpstart to take it to shop and have a new battery installed.. shortly thereafter, the transmission developed some hard shifts and “flare” .. it just started acting weird and I have been wondering if that battery incident had something to do with all of this… glad I found your video.. I guess I can take it to the dealer and take a chance to see if a procedure like this will help
can you do a quick learn with out the $700 unit? I swapped the fluid and changed filter because no shop around me was going to do that they just pull the fluid I guess. after dropping the pan and doing the filter change I put back in 5.5 quarts of atf +4 and some lucis detergents I was recommended by the mechanics. it shifts great in all the lower gears but has popped 3 codes P0792 P1741 P0735. The reason for the drive to work on the AT is I had a gear 2 ratio code hit it recommended fluid change as repair. This is a van for a disable girl so any help with ideas would be greatly apricated
Update I bought a 200 unit did a relearn and seems the computer on the transmission isn’t talking correctly to the main computer. Going off memory here but forgive me for screwing this up but the TCM is not talking to the PCM

yes that would be a good idea, I have surprised a lot of customers who thought they needed a new transmission
