@Edifier_NorthAmerica would you like to consider idea of bringing to the market a budget competitors to Klipsch The Fives. Something of the size of R1855DB or R2750DB with HDMI Arc. I’m pretty sure that most of your current customer and potential buyers would like to upgrade/purchase audio units because of this crucial feature. You can easily create ideal/versatile speakers which would break the market and boost your sale. There is nothing else like Klipsch The Fives available. Just add this HDMI Arc into your new line of speakers at reasonable price and success is around the corner. Please 🙏🏽 do this‼️
@@roninesce8362 This is a great suggestion. You're definitely right and we will pass this idea onto our team and see what we can get in the works. Thank you for your comment!
Ordered these today... Heard nothing but good reviews on this brand looking forward to using these with my toys... TV, phone, iPad pro, laptop, Switch OLED... They'll look good once a get the speaker stands, will be my default home stereo if they sound as good as I'm expecting, can't play crazy loud music in apartments so I'm not looking for crazy thunderous bass
@@jordanash yeah just got mines today and not bad not bad at all!! I don't even have the subwoofer yet and they sound amazing... Imma big movie buff and been wanting to get mean lil set up I could not only use with my TV, but my phone, laptop and iPad this is perfect! I like them so much when I get my own place I plan to get a set for my room
@@Tbone42tx the extra bass is nice I bought an Edifier T5 but I think it's not necessary because these speakers do have a wide range. They just enhance the low end slightly. I heard from some forums if you're using a digital signal(optical) they sound even better but I believe they might have been using FLAC files. I'll try that out someday.
It seems the verdict is that optical/to slink & coax are slightly higher quality sounding than RCA, but I don't think it'll be noticeable on something of this price.
these are peaking my interest for TV speakers with a sub attached......OR.... should I go with the s3000Pro's with no sub as my TV speakers...your thoughts people ? thx...cheers from Canada

Because of the dials on the back and lack of control with remote. They're studio monitors anyway, made for desktop use. I'd look at a soundbar, I use an Onkyo one
Great review! We appreciate your in-depth review and honest thoughts. Hope you enjoy them.
Thank you!

Yeah Edifier have been a solid company, I can't recall saying anything overly negative about their products.

Why the heck do the tweeters have reflective glass lense material? Kind of weird.
thank you for the review. I would like to see how they kinda sound with a sub hooked up to them as well.
No problem. Unfortunately that's not something I can try being in a office complex haha.
Is the COAX connection better than regular RCA in terms of sound quality only? AND Toslink vs COAX

Hmmm, depends on what content you like watching. If it's a lot of movies then you can't beat having a sub. If not the S3000 Pros are highly reviewed.
@@jordanash will be for movie and sports and music.....and everyday TV.....which would you choose then ?
I'd go for a cheaper pair and a sub

R1850DB 240 ( CA ) 175 ( USD ) + a sub

I'd go for the R1850DB + a sub out of those. Might be worth checking reviews of the other speakers and sub first though.
What is the pc input, like what does it mean and how would you connects it to your pc?
3.5mm to RCA, or RCA to RCA if you have a sound card that supports it
EDIFIER R1280T OR R1280DBS OR R1700BT OR R1850DB ?! Please help me choose 🙏
I'm more into music and bass + vocal clarity must be decent.
I've not got all of those dude. Look up separate reviews then get the best you can for your budget
Is't good for Tv samsung? The volume, bass and trebel button in the back, can we control volume of speakers with tv remote?
I wouldn't recommend these for TV use really. And I don't believe you can, no
