I gotta say it’s my new favorite too. The terrain, scenery, trails are all amazing. It’s just missing the amenities like Hatfield McCoy. Gas, food etc.
Bye the way, starting on the bottom of wolf pen hollow, take the left thru the creek and rocks.we did it the other day and opened a trail surrounding a big rock to avoid door damage,i haven't found nobody video that area.there is also Indian springs close to chalk cave,we didn't manage to visit, wondering how it looks.
Around where i would see SXS's running, i would think 15" of GC would be minimum. Having some trails that are restricted to 66" your 64 X3 with that amount of ground clerance would be ideal for a higher performance trail rig. Im going to be looking at the 2022 X3 base as a starter point with a set of these shocks before the rig would even hit dirt. Ground clerance, underbody protection, and a bit of open road performance. Nice trail rig set up. This was an excellent compairison video.
First off - thank you for posting this video. Very informative! One thing I didn’t see in there is what tire presssure were you running when measuring your ride height? I see that you’re on 32” tire - but we’re you at your usual 8psi, or higher when taking ride height measurements?
Thanks for the feedback 💯. We have a few hundred miles on them and they actually improved the ride on ours so much. Actually feels better than it did when it was new. I’m sure ours were pretty wore out though because we have 7300 hard rocky miles on them.
im pushing 300 miles and my springs are shot. even on the fox tune the ground clearance wasnt adequate or where it needed to be. ive got some eibach springs to install soon.
I really enjoy watching you guys. What a difference a good set of springs make. Have you thought about a quick disconnect for your rear sway bar? For when doing your crawling. I'm always curious what people that actually do the knarly trails think. And you guys know what you're doing!
Thank you, I actually haven’t given the rear sway bar a thought. When we aren’t crawling we also like to go fast so a quick disconnect set up would probably work great. I’ll have to look into it. Thanks.
excellent info, you still like the settings? gonna get these ordered now, you're comments convince me I can't wait any longer! I just ordered secondary rollers, you still rolling on the stock ones? Really think it's more about throttle application, but I am just gonna go ahead since I am tuned and 32s
Shock therapy springs are 100% worth it. The ride is so much better, better than it was new. My rollers went around 5,000 miles. I went with warranty killer rollers. I’m at 7500 now with no issues. Sheris rollers went at 3500, we put stock back in and they are still good. She’s at 7000 miles now.
Thanks. Well worth it. The rock sliders come from a guy named willie v hubbard on Facebook. He makes them himself. I have an install video we made a little while ago with all his info in the description. They are awesome sliders.
Haha, I’m lucky enough to have a good work from home job for a railroad and my wife is self employed. We have pretty flexible schedules that allows us to enjoy lots of great weekends riding.
7,000 miles and springs are starting to wear out? Hell, I’m at 1200 miles and my stock springs are trashed. Shock Therapy box just got delivered so those are going on asap.
@@TheCanAmCrew what engine do you have? I have a turbo RR and I’ll be overjoyed if I get to 10,000 miles. Any major engine repairs outside of standard maintenance?
We’ve had them installed for about 200 miles now and I gotta say, I think they are 100% worth it. The ride is better than stock, no body roll and chatter bumps are gone.
Awesomeness. Love your videos on installs also. Very clear & informative👌 Keep them coming out. I look forward to watching this channel. Wish I could get out & rude as much as you guys do. 💯😎
Hahaha, Im all honesty I would have paid more than what they are asking. I was surprised at the difference it made in our ride. I never would have guessed.
Tackett is awesome was just down there. Going back in a couple weeks can’t wait it’s my favorite place

Love my shock therapy springs as well, huge improvement

We didn’t get over toward chalk cave but we did do Wolfpen. It’s an awesome trail.
Best upgrade!!

Thank you. We appreciate that.
I also drive my DS on east side,no jumps so i decided to replace only the upper springs with Eibach.oem start sagging at first ride.
Which ones did you use?

Yes. We run 8 psi in our tires.
My honest opinion, those springs don't change the ride much. Just rode out west with them in AZ and was alittle disappointed. Great video though!

G force racing just put springs on my x3 max and it is like a different machine rides so much better 👍

I’ve heard great things from them and also mts. We are still running out shock therapy springs, I’m at 10,400 miles and they haven’t sagged any.

I remember the video. Your halo video helped me tremendously btw.
My rock sliders look like a curvy road. 😂
Thank you. My rock sliders were in bad shape too. I had trouble opening my door at times. I’m glad my video was able to help.
On the factory rear springs do you know what that top small spring is for mine is also just sitting flat like yours seems pointless
I believe it’s for jumping or extended travel, not necessarily for compression.
What spring tool did you use. The ones I found I’m having a hard time getting both springs to compress enough to change springs out
We used the cheap dangerous harbor freight ones in the video.
All I want to know, is the secret to what yall do for a living? Cause yall got mad toys and ride often! How? I need this secret lol

How are the shock therapy spring kits 🤔 Are they worth the price? Is the difference really night & day?
