Hey Adam. Great tip about bringing an empty pallet to the store - although that requires foresight and planning. So as a professional procrastinator, that goes against my nature.
Great video. A couple of pro tips that you may or may not know. Drill a hole at the tip of one fork big enough to attach a ball hitch for moving trailers around the yard. Easier to maneuver a trailer driving than backing up. Second, tilt the tips of the forks while in the air down about 10-20 degrees to slide forks closer or further apart. Doing so takes the weight off the bottom of the fork where it meets the fork frame. Looking forward to the next video already.
I know that at home people do things that OSHA won't like but there is a reason for many of their rules. One company I worked at put a hole in the fork and OSHA made the company replace the fork as they said it weakened the fork. There are units that slide on the forks that have a receiver to move trailers and there are also 3 point mounts that have a receiver to move trailers.
Nice video. A tip though is those pallets are much stronger if lifted from the other sides. The forks are meant to go under the cut outs in the main heavy cross members.
The chain hooks on the clamp ons are to stabilize your forks so when you lift it doesnt bend the bucket lip. You run the chain over the top and put chain binders on it.
Absolutely. I don't have your frame and I find the quick-attach wonderful. For the freezes here in Florida I was able to move pallets of plants under shelter easily; can pick up deliveries or stuff from the hardware store and move to the back forty, love my pallet forks!
I agree that forks are one of the BEST labor saving attachments for a tractor. I'm a bit older than you and if I have to move something once, I move it to a pallet so I have to touch it as little as possible. One other benefit to the QA forks they are at the size you used them last. I keep mine at one size and if a pallet is too small for that I cut it up and give it to my neighbors that heat with wood. As you said a QA is a great attachment on a tractor, the only thing better is one on the back as well.
Totally agree. I purchased my Land Pride Pallet Forks with my new tractor this week and already put them to good use. So very handy and that quick attach system was a must as well. The box grader is next on the list.
One point, you lifting capacity depends somewhat on your engine rpm which affects the hydraulic pressure. This is demonstrated when you’re getting a bucket load of material off a pile, more engine power makes a difference in more pushing and more lifting capacity Have an HST powered drive tractor and power is essential in getting up hills in certain gears.
I’ve been using the clamp on this past week moving tree trunks. Been a life saver but like demonstrated, on soft ground the back will snag. Would be nice if the back would slanted up and closed off. Your pros and cons are spot on.
Heya from down under Haxman . Been watching ur channel from the west coast of oz. I’ve just bought a low hours b2601 as well .Just wondered how happy you are with yours? I’ve bought 3 acres that needs a lot of work to get it back to scratch so I’m hoping it’s up to the task. Loving all the projects you’ve done and the fact that you own it when things don’t go to plan. Also how you get the kids involved to. It’s so important these days. I also like working with raw and dated timber so I appreciated the mantle piece you surprised your wife with . Stay safe mate and look forward to more of your adventures. 🦘
Glad to see your sponsors coming in, you deserve the success of the channel. Genuine if how if describe your work. I always need to watch it. Nice job brother.
SO cool that everyone can see that you love your tractor.. So If my next-door neighbor did not have one.. I would want one.. I still do.. but probably going to get a backhoe.. cause well he has the bigger Kubota and he knows how to use it.. Awesome to see the attachments.. good video
Hey Adam, I'm sure you have seen some other youtuber videos on using IBC totes for firewood. I know in FL that isn't as much of a concern and I believe you had a gas insert on your fireplace mantle video. But getting one or two would be a nice way to store some fire wood for your fire pit and those pallet forks would make hauling wood to the fire less back breaking. My B2601 can lift one about 3/4 of the way full with a box blade on the back for ballast. Awesome video as always.
VERY cool to see your daughter not afraid to run your tractor! Reminds me of my daughter when she was about that age driving my tractor.... memories!❤️👍
Great video! I have the bucket mounted forks. I would like to have the quick attach forks but my money is funny! One thing i watch for on the bucket forks is bending the cutting blade on your bucket. From Tennessee, be careful. Wife and i look forward to each of your videos.
Morning HAX! How can you get any pudding if you don't eat your meat! LOL. A good set of forks is a must -have for sure. Glad you were able to find a set - so many different uses for them. Enjoy the chicken! So much easier to eat with a fork(s)...:)) Have a great weekend!
Hey Mr. HAXMAN, your "wimpy" front axle thanks you ( fix them all the time). In "Theory" clamp-on pallet forks should be "Out-lawed".Best wishes with all your endeavours.
Heard you mention the golf cart was broken?🤔 making a vid fixing it would be pretty sweet if that’s in your wheel house. Much love from Jordan to the great John C Reilly.
Haxman, where do you get those beautiful assistants? I searched every tractor dealership and they had no idea either. Hope you at least got a smile off that...LOL I was wondering this time for serious, what is the measurement of your storage shed back there?
@@HAXMAN Thank ya sir. I know there are a lot of Pedophiles out there but was in hopes you would take my comment for the innocent but humorous meaning that was intent. Absolutely love your videos and hope I don't get on your nerves.

I'm coming to your channel for fashion advice. 😂 What brand of pants do you have? You've got similar ones in most your videos and I need some good outdoor work pants.
Did you nickname your daughter Monkey? That is hilarious, I nicknamed my oldest daughter Punky, and my youngest daughter Shiny Bubbles lol they hate it when I use their nicknames in public lol but I can't help it I forget their birth names.
Love your videos. You are me but you actually do things lol. Your wife reminds me of my wife and I have all girls. Anyways, where do I get those pants?
OOOOOO " dude... "BEST WAY TO MAKE A MEAN ROOSTER" that's what you SHOULD of called this video... lol ... just cook the little bugger already .......as a young child of great adventures... chasing the rooster around the barn was great sport until... he took out his revenge

I have no interest or use for a tractor or forklifts, but you make both interesting enough for me to watch the entire video!

Thanks! Yes, in fact I just mentioned that to my brother in law the other day.
It’s been freezing cold here in north Florida 😊
That tractor is incredibly handy..
Your daughter has that thing dialed in.
Great video
Thank you!
Thanks for the videos. Gardening is about the only thing that makes sense to me in this crazy world these days..... Your friend in the dirt, Mumpy.
VERY cool to see your daughter not afraid to run your tractor! Reminds me of my daughter when she was about that age driving my tractor.... memories!❤️👍
I just got my forks Monday for my 2601. Best money I’ve spent.
I don’t have a tractor or farm land (one day!!) and I found this video very informative!! Great video!! 🤗

Nice job, 2nd most important reminder is ballast. Don’t want a tippy tractor 😀
Thank you for this video. I just bought a forklift rack and 42" blades two seconds ago lol
Thanks I will add quick attach forks with my tractor purchase

I am glad you got some SSQA pallet forks they look like the perfect size for the Super B!!!😁👍 thanks for the video 🚜💨🤯
Me too Mitch 😂 Thanks!
I use mine to pick up brush works out great
You chasing that rooster got my side hurting from laughing. Good stuff.
Always look forward to Fridays to see what you’ll post next! Thanks for the vids, dude!
Thanks for watching!
Another great video! Missed opportunity on forks and knives though
Very helpful. Thank you!
Thanks for demonstrating what a smaller tractor can lift. Confirms we need a bigger tractor with more lifting power
That’s my biggest regret. I don’t need a bigger tractor for anything except lifting capacity.
You flip those tires around 😳 like NO PROBLEMO 🤨🤨🤨🤨
Leverage is the work you are looking for. I bet it is Nice to have a Relative to help! Ha! Ha1
@17:51 GENIUS
Thanks!
Heard you mention the golf cart was broken?🤔 making a vid fixing it would be pretty sweet if that’s in your wheel house. Much love from Jordan to the great John C Reilly.
I’ll probably make a video trying to fix it. Success not guaranteed. 😂 Shake n bake
IF U CURL YOUR LOADER BUCKET FIRST BEFORE U LIFT YOUR LOADER ARM / BOTH WILL DO THE BEST , OVER ALL HAVE TO CURL YOUR BUCKET LIFT ANY THING
18:55 ... if you invest in a 4in1 bucket, you won't have to dismount to pick up all that crepe murder on the ground.
Haxman, where do you get those beautiful assistants? I searched every tractor dealership and they had no idea either. Hope you at least got a smile off that...LOL I was wondering this time for serious, what is the measurement of your storage shed back there?
:) It's a 10x30 I think

good demo video
Don't even have a tractor. Still watched the video. Ya know what I do have? Safety Glasses.....
I wish I had some.

Decent review

They are Fjallraven. I'm going to do a video on them soon. So many people ask about them
Wondering if anyone caught the Princess Bride quote, "gently!"
Like your show. God. Bless.
Thank you. Same to you
Did you nickname your daughter Monkey? That is hilarious, I nicknamed my oldest daughter Punky, and my youngest daughter Shiny Bubbles lol they hate it when I use their nicknames in public lol but I can't help it I forget their birth names.
Put a fork in it! No not that one!!!!! Great video
Thanks!
😮 as I eat my burrito bowl with a fork. I will not be deterred.
How are the chickens handling the ticks?
We haven’t found any on the chickens. As far as taking care of the tick population, they are failing. 😂
got a tick update for us? do the rooster eat them?
Love your videos. You are me but you actually do things lol. Your wife reminds me of my wife and I have all girls. Anyways, where do I get those pants?
Also faster and safer when working in extreme heat, cold, mud and snow 😬
That also happens to be my max capacity. Lol a grown man, 4 tires, and 6 bags of cow poo
First forty minutes of the video and I’m already laughing!
As I like to say in my youth... "Oh Fork Youuuu" :)
Clamp-ons are okay, but as you use your tractor more and more you're gonna want SSQA forks. Ask me how I know this!
Yep
💗
That's a great tractor but I'd rather a Branson
I would guess your loader has more lift than 950 lb. My 1025 jd is that much. Thats a bigger machine
Ya know you can blow a seal on your cylinders.
Raise the rpm of the tractor and it may lift more.
As a straight female, I've never been into clamp on tools! Js. Lol
If I had a tractor I would turn my mulch pile.
I only have .7 of an acre.
Well at least you didn't fork on the table....
My daughter says that's a dinglehopper
Can’t disagree with Scuttle. 😄
Forks and not getting it up…
OOOOOO " dude... "BEST WAY TO MAKE A MEAN ROOSTER" that's what you SHOULD of called this video... lol ... just cook the little bugger already .......as a young child of great adventures... chasing the rooster around the barn was great sport until... he took out his revenge
