I have a brand new BX23s with SSQA. While I was awaiting the delivery of my new tractor. (BX23s which is FED, Backhoe, and I got a MMM installed, along with a 4' land plane and 4' rotary cutter). I did a ton of research and video watching about add on products, DIY mods, and aftermarket parts you can add.
I had an insane amount of brush to clear on 3 of my 10 acres. I saw how effective the "Ratchet Rake" was and ordered one. It oddly enough arrived the same day as my tractor delivery. I tried the rotary cutter and it did ok with clearing brush (mostly 6' tall grass and black berry bushes) but the ratchet rake excelled at it. It removed not only the brush but the roots too. Effortlessly I might add.
About half way through my clearing project, I saw this video. I ordered a Bucketeeran paused my work, can't do all the work without the new toy......... With plenty to do I moved on to other chores.
The Bucketeer arrived about 3 weeks later, if you pair the Bucketeer and the ratchet rake, you have an amazing brush clearing swiss army knife of a tractor set up.
With the Bucketeer in the up position, I can use the ratchet rake and clear large areas of brush and leave them in piles. Then lower the Bucketeer, and clean up the mess. If I encounter logs or other debris I can deploy the Bucketeer and deal with the specific issue. Then go back to using the Ratchet Rake. It make cleaning the rest of my property a breeze.
The Bucketeer can also be used to pick up pallets and other things too. Rebar, siding, roofing material, tires, ect. And with it being compatible with 2" hitches. Your imagination is the only limitation.
This is my first time hearing ratchet rake so I had to investigate. I just bought 6.5 acres of land to run my sawmill and hopefully start a tree business. About 3 of those acres were overgrown with bushes, tall grass and weeds, and small trees, and bamboo. I actually used a 6 ft rotary cutter to rough cut everything, and I have been struggling to figure out what to do next with this mess. I have debris forks that are on their way and should be here Monday or so. How do you use the bucketeer and ratchet rake at the same time? They both attach to your front bucket don't they?
One observation having used a grapple bucket on numerous occasions, the "clean release" of the bucketeer when dumping a load (especially a load with vines) probably makes up for the extra time it takes to load it in the first place. I can't tell you how many times I've had to get off a tractor to fight/cut/cuss stuck vines in grapple teeth. One final comment, thanks for taking the time to show us all of these new and sometimes obscure attachments. If it weren't for this channel, we likely would never know all of the cool stuff available to sub-compact tractors!

That Bucketeer sure looks like it has endless possibilities., especially with the 2" receiver. I just bought the Brush Krusher. To cheap for the real, but it works and saved me couple thousand dollars. Anyway, thanks for showing us the Bucketeer. Best to all your family. God Bless!
Looks like a handy add-on for the bucket but at $1100, they are nuts!! I built something very similar for my brother's tractor and I think we had a whole $50 in materials.
Bunns here. I farmed with my uncle, who was very talented at improvising. He could look at a piece of new equipment and go home and put one together using spare parts. Sure save strain on the pocket book.

I have a Kioti 2610HST and use a silage fork attachment (from Titan) that does the same thing except it's a stand-alone skid steer-type quick attachment. It's saved me so much work and is practically indestructible. I can do more with it than I could a grapple since it works like pallet forks (and sometimes as a pseudo-dozer blade) as well, plus it doesn't require any extra hydraulics. It just attaches in place of the bucket on my FEL. Worth every single penny of the $600 I spent on it.

Very impressive! I can see this being really useful for hauling or loading hay bales. I agree that a burn pile is sometimes quicker than chipping, but I do both. I love that I can clean up a downed tree or limbs quickly with my Woodland Mills WC68 chipper with no mess. It’s featured in one of my videos if you’re interested. Great job with the video!
The amount of work your little tractor can do with the forks is quite incredible. It’s a great machine for clearing up brush and scrub in the hands of a good operator.
That's a very good product, it really fills an area that no one else has and really adds to the volume of the bucket. I like your orange pajamas.

Hello from Spirit River Alberta. I found your channel a few years ago when researching the 1025. I already had a 3320 but it was a little to big once I moved into town. I found a 1025 at a local dealer and had a Mauser cab put on , I had the cheque made out but the finance committee had second thoughts so I tore the cheque up. But now we are moving back to the country so the 3320 will be perfect. It’s a 06 with 1300 hrs. Runs perfect had very little problems and it will do anything I can come up with. I enjoy your channel it’s the first one that I subscribe to. Love the family interaction with you and Christy ,Katriel and the rest of your family. By the way we all miss Katriel. Bless you.

I just bought a PTO driven chipper for my tractor, it works like a charm and you don't have to haul everything to the burn pile, chip in on the spot. I used the chips for trails in the woods. It will handle up to 8 inch stuff.

There are a variety of bucket debris forks .... which vary by 'duty rating,' tine length, and number of tines.
In theory, you could put multiple pallet forks on a bucket or fork frame. 4 ea 36" forks would be half the price.
Very impressed! I am thinking about adding two additional forks to my pallet forks. When you get done you will have a fire big enough to see from space!
I have considered a 2nd set of clamp-on forks, too. The Bucketeer looks great, but WAY too expensive.

No we'll sit in the shade while we watch your latest video. I have the clamp on debris forks, teeth are 18", comes is very useful for my needs. I do like the capability to quickly flip the Bucketeer up out of the way without detaching it. I'm still waiting for my finance committee to approve my grapple :-)
Hi Tim, cool toy. Becareful riding around in the lift. Wear a harness and lanyard. I have seen guys break their ribs or bruised them from being bounced around in the basket. On just one of my jobsites we had 21 different sized lifts for working on the Buffalo and Dakota Lodges in Keystone, CO. It is mandatory on construction sites. Private property and owned by a friend, probably overlooked. Just don't want anyone to get hurt driving over uneven ground. Keep the vids coming! God Bless!

I've used a similar set of bolt on brush forks on my bx for a few years now. Wouldn't do any amount of property cleanup without it! I do like this design with the 2" receiver.
Nice that the forks bolt on and can flip up. Watch your tipping point on forks attached to a bucket, they can get a lot of weight on them. Also it’s possible to bend a fork, nice they are replaceable. Not sure about single replacement fork costs. Great idea on using chaps and helmet running the chainsaw.
Tim I always said I would never have anything “Green” on my property because I’ve always been an Allis-Chalmers tractor guy. I’ve used the CA and the 6060. But I think you’ve convinced me that the little Jonny you have would be great for a lot of my needs.
Compared to the old CA, you would be amazed. Of course, it isn’t as big as the 6060, but it will work effectively in spaces you can’t even get the 6060 into.
Having said all that. I bet you’ve had a lot of fun with those two excellent machines!
@@TractorTimewithTim to be very honest like you I like to push my tractors a little bit. I used to run a 8ft disc mower when I was mowing hay. But we had a place that nobody would take any tractor. I walked it one day and well today I am cutting the hay off this ground. And sense that day we’ve always cut that ground. And the reason I am thinking about getting a sub compact tractor is because of things that I need to do around my parent’s house. And honestly like I said in another comment thank you for the content and thank you for the scripture that you post. You and your wife have been a blessing to me and my wife. God Bless you all.
Hey Tim I like that bucket tear, here in northern Idaho I have a chipper and we use the wood chips in our garden plots to keep the weeds down works great
We just bought a 2014 1025R, looks like the perfect match for us, 50 acres of woods, the large tractors cannot get into areas, 🇱🇷👍🏼
I used a similar attachment for years till I got a grapple. You can do quite a bit of work that the bucket can’t handle alone. I still use occasionally but it was a go to item for years.
Yep! That is my point. This is a huge step up for an older ‘bucket only’ tractor.

My feelings on electric tools is that something like a string trimmer or edger is very useful, especially commercially. But a gas tool like a chainsaw still has a place since the weight helps the tool work.

Yes, that would be very handy on my JD 955. Folds out of the way perfectly! Side note, I own Stihl saws from MS192T, Ms201T, 032, and 066 but I reach for my Stihl Electric MSA160C often because there are no fumes! A chainsaw can sling hot poison ivy juice onto the inside of your arms real quick. I use loppers.
We should call you "Mr Gadget" with your "Swiss Army Knife" of a tractor! That Bucketeer is nice, it probably allows more capacity than the grapple with the less weight and no jaw opening so you can stack it high. I keep gravitating to the battery chainsaw, great tool! As a matter of fact I recently bought a 3-in-one battery pole saw. It has 3 interchangeable heads, 8" chainsaw, hedge trimmer and grass trimmer. Boy does it come in handy, with the freedom of no cords or loud gas engine I can roam around my properties and trim away! I even used it to open up a path in the woods to benefit the neighbors that use it as a shortcut to the store and a shortcut for parents and their children to the nearby school(When kids are allowed back in school). Great video Tim. The bucketteer and the cordless chainsaw are both very nice pieces. I've been seeing the cordless chainsaws pretty often and there doing good jobs regardless of brand. One thing about cordless chainsaws there quiet and light weight but it's still a chainsaw and needs the same respect as a gas saw. These projects are the fun projects to me, thanks for sharing.
I use the chain break consistently. I didn’t do so with a gas saw. With this one, I think it is the easiest way to ensure no accidental startup.

The live trees at first were mulberry. The dead one was ash. ....yes, the ash is great firewood.

I think the bucketeer is an old idea I have seen them used for loading manure from the cowshed in Scotland. It is a very useful tool.

Poor Christy,.....Tim seemed to be full of himself today?!?! (Ha!Ha!) Everything went well today, thanks to the help of Mary and Martha. When you burn your brush pile,.....you should make a full length video with all the sights and sounds (Fire Trucks included. Ha!Ha!). And then we could sit back with a cup of hot chocolate, watch and listen to it during Christmas time and colder months, just like those Yule Log channels on TV.

I kinda was "full of myself" during this shoot, I guess. Really enjoying the project...even though it was hot!
On the poison ivy, I've taken to using some of those Fiskars loppers that we keep on the tractor and 4-wheeler on the tree farm, and if there is a poison ivy vine where I'm going to chainsaw, I cut it away with loppers. That way, I'm not chipping up, throwing, and aerosolizing the poison ivy oil in the vine.
...but I CAN'T let it be. I need to get it out of there!!!!
What a great innovation! Not something I need, but it could be a game changer for a lot of people.
Looking forward to the lift video. I got to use them at my old job. We would rent them from time to time. I would get better pictures of the wastewater plant where I worked. That one you have is a little older, but it’s large and looks stable if used properly.
Years ago I made a smaller, simpler bolt-on version of this to clean out livestock areas and turning compost piles. This would be very superior to what I made.
You did a good job demonstrating the Bucketeer but being such a small market item I will be surprised if the company stays in business building these things. You can pretty much do most of what you did with forks. The price tag is a bit much for what it is as well. You can buy a grapple for what that thing costs if you don't mind one that weighs 430 lbs. Or you can spend twice that price and buy a 55" Wicked Root Grapple that will do much more than that rig. Still, nice video Tim. Don't be surprised if this company can't sell enough of these things to keep selling them. They do too little for what they cost.
Not sure if you heard my comments on this or not. You mention forks, and grapple. However, I specifically mentioned that this product is best suited for folks who do not have a quick attach bucket...so forks and a grapple are not a viable option.
The Bucketeer is an interesting attach., but as I told Christy recently, you’ve sold me on the little Stihl saw. Getting the farm one!
That is a nice piece of equipment and works perfectly with your tractor and does a great job clearing an area like you are working in.

Thanks for that information on burning poison ivy and did not even know that about inhaling the fumes and I am a very susceptible person I was actually in the hospital with it as a kid several times and I still get it to this day.
Keep a tube of Zanfel. Use it first day of contact. Once is enough if done early.
Don't help if you breathe the smoke.
You never know what is a neighbors fire.

I don't know if you thought about it when you was petting the cat with your poison ivy gloves at the end just saying for when you go back out to pet it again. Like the bucketeer worked great.

Not sure why my belly looked so big in this episode. Doc says I’ve lost a bit of weight.
This is very similar to the 4 spear bale spears we use for moving hay. They will do far more than move hay. I sometimes think i can get more with them than my grapple bucket. We can carry large squares bundles of small squares or 2 large rounds at a time. Ive pushed trees carried pallets etc with them.
Would be a good combo with an Add-a-Grapple.
Great concept, I can see where a spear for round bales, a trailer hutch, a hook for attaching an eye to eye strap for pulling post, ect. would be simple to adapt. $1100.00 does sound high, but adding the hose and control plus a real graple bucket would be far more. Love how easy it backs off the load!

I’m about 10 months out from buying my new 1025R and every time I tune in you are demonstrating another accessory, tool or implement I think I just have to buy. I really liked how the Bucketeer was able to do a larger amount than a grapple. Looks also much easier in operation compared to the grapple. For sure it'll be on my wish list to run with a 1025R. One of those rotary mowers should be able to knock out the poison ivy in a safer way than burning it.

Wow! Very impressive attachment. I appreciate all of the different tractor attachment & implements that you have shown being used on your channel. Also noted is that you wear the appropriate safety gear when using the chain saw. I saw an interesting video some time ago on "Outdoors With The Morgan's" where Mike actually showed how the chaps actually work to stop a gas & an electric chain saw from inflicting more severe damage should an accident happen. (Ruined the chaps but stopped the chain quickly) Keep the informative video's coming and may God Bless you and your family.
This is the perfect tool for a cleanup where the utilities company cut a swatch through my windbreak. Thank you. I wish I could remember the name of the little bucket attachment you featured awhile ago for digging out stumps. I have lots of smallish pine stumps too and lack a backhoe.

One of my customers bought a 20 acre property with a 200 year old house that no one had cleaned up in 20 years. It took several weeks but when all was said and done we had about a 20' tall by 30' round burn pile in the middle of a cleared field. I told him when you get ready to burn this make sure it's just before a rain storm and make sure to call 911 and let them know the location and that it's a controlled burn. Of course he did not do that. Flames where shooting up at least 50 ft. and it's right near a major highway so calls started coming in . He had gone in the house to get a drink, when he came out the whole yard was full of fire trucks putting it out. :)
Man in a 24" "tooth" version with a silage style (weld on pin brackets) for a top jaw you could have a pretty nice grapple set up that is easily pinned on or removed.
The Bucketeer would be prefect for me because my quick attach system on my Bobcat 443 is frozen. I have a bucket bale spear and I have made a snowplow blade attach to my bucket. Only thing I think is to much is the price for the Bucketeer. Love the video's keep up the good work and god bless and stay safe.
Hahahaha I was doing this S today. 4 in 1 bucket is ausome but not so good for this type of work and I do a bunch of this work.

I like that attachment, drilling the holes concerns me but I guess using a long level and just watching what your doing should be fine.
The instructions (and video they included) made it easy to lay out the hole locations.
Tim, don't know if you've heard or not. But Deere just came out with an auto leveling kit for your loader. It's all done mechanically. I called my dealer and he said it can be field installed on the 120r loader and cost around $600. But best of all... the Deere specs show a huge increase in lift capacity. I believe the 120r will gain a little over 200lbs more lift. I'm guessing the leverage on the hydraulics must change after installing the kit. I'm definitely keeping an eye out for it!

The way you reached over head and cut that vine with the little chainsaw sure makes it look handy. That would have been much more unsafe with a full size gas saw.
This really looks great! Ive cut down over 100 trees and hauled everything off with a set of forks, This looks like it would handle way more volumn and get the job done much quicker. The only downside for me is Ive also planted alot of new trees that requires ocassional watering of wich i use the bucket to transport water.Idont know how well that would work with all those additional holes in the bucket

Tim put few wraps of 1/4" chain around the base of big vines and let the tractor pull out the roots. You just created a big bush of poison ivy for next year. Or hit the vines with weed killer if you want. That really needs to be done soon after cutting.

I think it is pretty good product. The only thing i might have a problem with is possibly the logs coming over the top of the bucket and down the arms of the loader. I would like to see something on top of the bucket to keep things from rolling into your lap. With a open grapple you have protection from the items rolling back on you. That is a neat addition to a tractor. Thanks for the great video
Interesting point. I understand exactly what you mean. However, I didn't see that in practice. Likely because most of the brush I was handling was not straight round logs. I did get one load up too high with the loader tilted back. enough that I thought about it...whoa! ...but the load didn't shift at all.
@@TractorTimewithTim I found out recently it only take a second to error with the loader and well it hurts. I learned a lot and lucky. I definitely worry more about things coming over the bucket and learned to do the things during the day in well lit area. It was truly just a rare accident. That you don't think will happen. I really like your channel and appreciate the demos of equipment. I will have to check this product out more.

I have something similar to a bucketeer it goes on the bucket and bolted on with two bolts and had 4-5 spikes/bars in the front the company was based out of Ohio and made them for a couple years before stopping production I think it was a little family company too
I get the point of these without a quick release bucket. Cool toy. I put four forks on my fork rack and it does much the same. Not as nice as a grapple but a lot cheaper

I see the cost on the website is $1399, that likely is in US funds, that makes it like $1500-1600 CAD, not including shipping etc, it will be way more costly than just buying the pallet forks, which in Canadian funds is $1100. To make the market more hot this would be more desirable if it were priced at $700-800, Canadian.
Would be even more desirable at $100.
Every time I see you use that stihl battery chainsaw makes me pull the trigger and buy one. Kind of like that bucketeer attachment too. So much I need to get for my 1025r
I love my electric chainsaw too! The future is electric. But this thingy is just too expensive; anyone handy can improvise. The reason to chip sometimes instead of burn is to make mulch.

I guess I can make my own "Bucketeer" when I get my 36" forks from Artillian (along with the canopy) to go along with my 42" forks. The 42" forks are too long for my firewood racks.
I think Tim needs to work extra hard in this video since he didn't have to work at all in the last one.
The Bucketeer ' looks like is would handle or fit into and I would like to try moving a standard wooden pallet . . .

You can get clamp on debris forks from several manufacturers, very useful for material like this. This set seems to be an improvement, if you do this sort of work very often. Just to rub it in, I am not allergic to poison ivy!
These are MUCH stronger than any clamp on forks!!!

I have the Quick Attach with the Fork Attachment and wonder if ADDING 2 more Forks to give Me 4 Forks would work like that attachment?

Wow. Would have loved to seen this before I bought A set of Forks. Great looking Tool.
I would like to see how that would work dumping in to a dump trailer also. When you light the fire I think we will be able to see it in Florida 😂
