so i did this and installed my aftermarket radio and my car wouldnt start. i replaced all the stock radio parts and the car worked fine. Ive come to understand that there is an anti theft system that prevents the car from starting once the stock stereo unit is removed. Does anyone know of any work arounds?

FWIW, The fake wood trim on the top pulls forward not up and it requires a little more pressure than you would expect.
