@Dr_Abs according to Holick demonstrated that 10,000UI/d for 5months is a safe dose (with a safety factor of 10 if I remember). Also in EU, because patients tend to forget their medicines, it is quite common for GP to prescribe 100,000UI on one dose (usually equivalent to a month dose). I personally do not recommend such high dosages in one shot as I believe it is not a physiological dose and in my opinion should only be used in severe lack of D3.
D3 is generally safe, and to my knowledge there’s only 2 clinical cases documented for D3 toxicity: one patient admitted to emergencies for too high Ca levels, took for many months a poor quality D3, after analysis it appeared he was actually ingesting 1,000,000UI/d. Second patient is an overweight male also with skyrocket Ca, who took several times the dose prescribed, then spend several weeks in Thailand (sunny area), then decided to lose weight rapidly.

Is there a recommended amount of vit k2 to take per 1000iu? Seems to be differing opinions. Also where can we find providers who have had sunekos training with you? Watched your lecture and it all made sense. Great content and education.

Thats a great question - I'll be honest and say I don't know the exact answer. I'd say noone does with 100% certainty at the moment. What I personally do is take the equivalent of one Super K by Life Extension for every 10,000 IU of vitamin D3. Hope that helps 😊

I always look to what would be a.natural level if we lived in nature. We would not be ingesting massive amounts of one vitamin. How much D would you make if you lived, as we once did,, mostly outdoors? Seems that D measurement would be the healthy goal.

@@janeta3509agreed, except our environment and diet and life style choices have created havoc in our life. I recently found out, this week, that I have Osteopenia...-1.8, and Im now wanting to know what to read to find the truth.
Drs say take Calcium and yet I thought too much calcium was hard on the heart, and what type? This is all new for me and I would love great resources to read if anyone has them. I recently switched, on my own, to Carnivore. But Im stationed un S Korea and they dont have NDs here and I really want to learn truth about D dose for me, Calcium- which if any, Iodine amt, and ACV or no ACV, I feel uneducated and want to become educated? Any sources greatly appreciated!😊
I plan on eating for nutrition, 90%, as I move forward...

Only doses corresponding to 10 million IU daily d3 resulted in toxic levels of calcium in the blood and wasting, of mice. They were fine up to 1 million IU daily (adjusted for mouse weight)
1,25-Dihydroxyvitamin D is not responsible for toxicity caused by vitamin D or 25-hydroxyvitamin D, 2011

My friend has an autoimmune disease "Rheumatoid arthritis", which was triggered by her catching a flu virus. The consultant dealing with her case put her on immune suppressant medication and also advised her to take Vit D3 for her immune system. Vitamin D has important functions beyond those of calcium and bone homeostasis which include modulation of the innate and adaptive immune responses. Vitamin D deficiency is prevalent in autoimmune disease. Cells of the immune system are capable of synthesizing and responding to vitamin D. Immune cells in autoimmune diseases are responsive to the ameliorative effects of vitamin D suggesting that the beneficial effects of supplementing vitamin D deficient individuals with autoimmune disease may extend beyond effects on bone and calcium homeostasis.
