There are nearly 40 countries with marriage equality and over 120 where it is legal to be LGBTQ so I don’t see why any good or decent person would visit countries like the 5 in this video or other backwards countries when there is SO much to see and explore in the world without having to comprise your values or safety. Great video.
Unfortunately, I had to travel to Malaysia for business, a trip I did not want to take, but was professionally obligated to go on. As with many of the places in this video, many people - if not most - were quite wonderful, but those in charge, culturally, economically, and politically, were very tough to stomach. I would never willingly go back.
For the UAE: it's generally bad to support it regardless of the bad conditions for queer people. The infrastructure is shit, the planning of the skyscrapers is bad, it's not good for the environment, the tallest skyscraper in Dubai is built with unethical and exploited labour. I recommend the video "Why Dubai sucks"
Dubai was built to be a playground for the rich, but its all kinds of boring, I don't the attraction other than there are a lot of rich people hanging out there.
As someone from an Islamic country myself, I am not surprised by any of these 5 countries. While I myself am a secular Muslim, I am the first to admit that Islam fundamentally needs to change and modernize. Its current state in the world causes nothing but war and persecution and it needs to stop. People from these countries wonder why no one wants them to immigrate, well, this video proves exactly way. But it does not have to be this way.
I appreciate your words. In all talks I had with Muslims, they rather confirmed that Islam and the Quran is considered not reformable as ist is already "perfect". When you talk to consrevative Chrsitians like evengelicals, you actually hear the same about the Bible. Man-made morals, claimed as given by a god and by that unquestionable, is a very dangerous thing.
Just canceled my trip to Malaysia and it was early enough to not pay any fees because of the cancellation. I have booked a trip to Taiwan instead as I have already been to Thailand. Your videos have power. Thank you for helping me not give my money to pure evil where people like us are not welcomed and even jailed. Horrendous to think what still takes place in this world.
Just got back from Taiwan (11 August) after a 30-year absence. I was very comfortable holding my Taiwanese boyfriend's hand in public and even sneaking a (mouth) kiss or two. 🙂
There is something very few talk about. A gay travel agent told me that many of these countries get away easily discriminating against HIV positive tourist not by forbidding them entry but by forbidding them to carry their medicine. Promised myself never to leave a singke dollar in on of those countries.
There is one country which is hostile to the LGBT+ community that's usually forgotten and deserves to be boycotted. It's Jamaica. It may not be in the list of the most visited countries but it still gets tons of tourists and it stains the progressive stances of other places in the Americas.
Correct. Whereas LGBTQ individuals face more or less discrimination all over the Anglo Caribbean, Jamaica is the only territory where homophobia is virtually institutionalised.
I always use this as a point when straight ppl ask me why we celebrate ourselves. Usually I say something like "if you've never had to research a country before visiting then you don't need to celebrate anything."
I think that LGBTQ community should avoid spending money in these backward and dangerous countries for our people. There are lots of countries that are welcoming and are fun and safe for all folks!
Lisbon here! I've talked with many people of the LGBTQ+ population about what u said for years now. Money is a powerful instrument. Don´t give money to homophobic people or places.
Thanks for the video. I think in places like Morocco and Indonesia, Western tourists are welcome, and sometimes locals look away because they want to project an image of tolerance that is actually wrong. While LGBTQ+ tourists can enjoy in their resorts, locals are being killed and prosecuted. That makes me sad and angry at the same time, that is why we need videos like this one
My wife and I visited both Cyprus and Turkey last year and can confirm everything you shared. In Turkey men were making weird advances, horrible sounding noises, and we felt extremely unsafe to even smile to widely at each other. In Cyprus on the other hand we felt safe enough to kiss in the water and hold hands on the beach. No one gave us any negative attention and we would love to visit again or maybe try a Greek island like Crete next time. Thank you for spreading the word. What you do is more important than you may realize.
Summary of the popular but bad countries and their alternatives for those too busy to watch the video: Egypt❌️ - Cyprus✅️ Morocco❌️ - Portugal✅️ Dubai❌️ - Singapore✅️ Malaysia❌️ - Thailand✅️ Turkey❌️ - Greece✅️
Malaysia literally canes/whips gay and lesbians and bases their entire legal system on Islam. The fact that anyone was visiting to begin with baffles, and same for Indonesia. Especially when amazing countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, and even Cambodia and Laos are right next door!
@@Cap_BriggsyYes, it is Aceh province that does the really messed up but it’s rough across the entire country to a lesser but still massive degree compared to Western countries and other parts of East / South East Asia.
I flew from Miami to Phuket Thailand in May. My tickets had me changing planes in Doha, Qatar. When in the terminal I kept my head down and spoke to no one unless necessary. I had my bags scanned twice. While I wore all black, there were several "pride" items in my backpack. Thank God they didn't open it!
Wow yeah, that could have been a tricky situation, so glad you made it through without them poking around too much and were able to get out of there safe and easy.
My gay uncle went to Morocco in 1993--he had lived in Spain on and off for a few years--and told me that he and a bunch of his Moroccan companions got chased by vigilantes. "Boy, was that a sticky situation. Well actually that was later." 😂
There's an unmentioned reason for a lot of LGBTQ tourism to Morocco: History. For decades, while Morocco was under French control (and, to a more limited extent, Spanish control--the bulk of the country was under French rule, though not a colony, until 1956 while the northern coastal strip was under Spanish control till the same period; but I digress.. . .). During this period, Morocco was a virtual haven for gay tourists (primarily, gay men) who could enjoy sex with local men (and, unfortunately, underage boys as well--but, it was a different time and culture; even straight locals would have sex with underage boys due to strict rules regarding gender segregation--again, I digress . . .). As long as the "westerners" were, well, discreet about the matter (and, willing to "reimburse" the local for his time), there was very little interference from the authorities. Again, if an "arrangement" was made and the westerner kept his end of the bargain, blind eyes were common; let the westerner not keep his end of the bargain (or, worse, refuse to "renegotiate" the deal to the local's benefit), then the authorities would most certainly be brought in. Also, a lot of well-known Western writers (including Allen Ginsberg and William Burroughs) spent time in Morocco, "interacting" with local men, as well as indulging in the drug culture (mostly hashish). Even into the 1970s and 1980s, Morocco had a fairly flourishing underground gay scene--again, as long as discretion was practiced, the authorities rarely bothered with tourists or locals. But, with the onset of Islamic fundamentalism that came along in the 1980s, that underground scene found itself being targeted (along with the drug scene and female prostitution).
I showed this video to a friend of mine who is a lesbian, and she said it really helps her avoiding places that don't want her to exist, and personally i refuse to finance those evil governments as well, thanks man 🙂😊
the world can be happier if you ignore it sometimes, i think that's what's lead to some people being out of touch with these situations, that's what i think anyway, feel free to disagree
Why is ''Justifiability'' even a thing?, it should be up to _other_ parts of humanity to understand and show empathy and ACCEPT others. Truth is people who condemn homosexuality are often fearful of their own sexuality. I don't intend to ''justify'' myself to anything OR ANYBODY. Being gay is part of humanity ..always has been, always will be and nations should just get over it.
@@QueerKingdomOfficial genuinely curious of your opinion: what do you think of people allowed to transition only after turning 18 considering children cannot consent and balancing the science on brain development until ~25yo? should there be 3 bathrooms for males, females, and unisex?
@@Potent_Techmology in some places there are 3 bathrooms. The third is sometimes labeled "family" recognizing that sometimes a parent needs to assist an opposite-sex child. Other times, the third bathroom is more openly unisex. These are usually single occupancy.
Portugal is a wonderful country with an interesting history, beautiful landscapes and citiscapes, and above all adorable people. It’s always a pleasure to stay there.
Another excellent video. Sadly, I don’t think I will ever be able to achieve my lifelong dream of visiting Egypt. As a Netjerist pagan, and an amateur Egyptologist, the country holds a literal spiritual importance to me, but as a queer person, I am not going to risk my life, nor financially support a country that does not value human rights. I pray Egypt modernizes and becomes more secular in future.
I have high hopes that in our lifetime things will change for the better in Egypt and elsewhere. Hopefully one day sooner than later you will be able to visit safely and have an incredible and meaningful time. 🙏🏻
First time watching a video of yours. I love it! I really appreciate that you not only detail where not to go, but that you also provide alternatives. I'm a bisexual woman and, even if I wasn't in a relationship with another woman, I wouldn't go to many of these places. Many have zero respect for women, either, period.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video and that it was useful! I totally am on the same page with you on all of this, even if I were personally safe some place I would never want to support it if other members of the community, women, or any other marginalized group was legally targeted. No country is perfect but when even the laws of the country are terrible and seek to increase hostility, that is where I personally draw the line.
Very interesting and engaging video man, love your sass too. It's lacking on a lot of channels. It's time we give hateful people and countries a bit of pushback, and you do it well! Makes me chuckle in a good way.
I travelled to Tunisia north Africa some years ago. Everything is confined to the hotel and exclusion organised to the holiday. I wanted to come home early Nothing happened to me. The person I was with had a real bad time there previous. He got stranded, they robbed him and a few other things happened.
I’m glad nothing bad happened to you, things definitely can go downhill fast in places like Tunisia. Very sorry about your friend’s experience. I love travel so much but the older I get the more I want to make sure the places I go are safe and align with my values.
@@QueerKingdomOfficial I can advise to anyone travelling there to not stray too far from the holiday complex. At the time we used the tour guides and organised trips, apart from once and it wasn't good but we got back. The religious buildings are prohibited to explore. Their time of prayer everything closes down and its best to go to the hotel room until everywhere opens. My friend was one for travelling alone at the time of his ordeal. He had gone to Tunisia alone. It was with the help of a Tunisian family that he got back to the UK. I like this channel and that the channel is making the safety aspect clear on destinations. Fantastic and good work. 👍
the Egypt thing made me really sad. i love history and my whole life i have wanted to see the pyramids but i might not even be safe there, ig maybe another life time when Egypt has modernized
I definitely have high hopes that one day, hopefully not too far from now, Egypt will change and improve enough to be safe. I also would enjoy visiting someday once the society and government are majority overhauled. Ancient Egypt really is so interesting!
I'm considering solo travelling first time next year and I'm trying to pick between Ireland, german speaking countries or possibly any other European country within my price range. I don't fear that those places are largely homohphobic but I'm still scared of being noticed in public by strangers for being obvious in any way. Also looking for any recommendations on how to just stay safe and navigate on my own in general.
Great options! In my experience Ireland + the Germanic countries are some of the most accepting the world currently has to offer but Scandinavia + Benelux may be the only regions that are even better. For German speaking cities I would recommend visiting Zurich and Geneva (French speaking too) in Switzerland, Munich in Germany, and Salzburg + Vienna in Austria. Also in Scandinavia cities like Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen, and Stockholm are very open and accepting. In Ireland I love Cork and Galway, but Dublin is quite nice too at least for a few days. Regardless of which places you visit, I would recommend avoiding neighborhoods that are highly religious with Christian and Muslim immigrants from Africa/South Asia/Middle East as these areas tend to be where most homophobic and transphobic attacks take place. I don’t want to demonize a group of people, but it’s just a fact that these areas are far more dangerous for our community than areas that are majority made up of local populations. You can use google to find which neighborhoods are safest and most local. I would also tend to avoid eastern Germany, at least outside of Berlin, as the area outside of Berlin is very far right and is where support for the racist and anti queer AfD party is strongest. I hope this information is helpful. ❤️ If you have any more specific questions please let me know!
As a Turkish person who is anti-government I won’t make any apologies for the situation in my country and completely agree with things you say. The only thing I object is the part with North Cyprus, which isn’t an “Islamised” place. I’ve been to all major cities and the life is very much secular. There was only one uninplemented sodomy law which is a relic of the British colonial past and it has been lifted ten years ago after being forgotten for decades. There is a pride parade in Nicosia and even the mayor joined it this year.
Thank you for the comment! What I was attempting to communicate is that in northern occupied Cyprus there are no legal protections, no civil unions, no accessible access to changing one’s gender without many medical obstacles, and if a hate crime or some other crime did happen, you would not have the same support from the state as in the real Cyprus under the control of the rightful government. I’m not saying it is as bad or dangerous as Turkey itself, but rather that it is not a place where the government and police have a legal obligation to protect the rights of the community. Also, I imagine that as Turkey continues to radicalize more every hour, it won’t be long until the situation becomes even worse since north occupied Cyprus is essentially Erdogan’s personal property at this point. I consider the land directly occupied by Turkey itself and not its own political entity. But I am aware that it is still better than mainland Turkey at this moment and that many queer Turks go there to find a level of safety they can’t find on the mainland.
I'd like to mention that Morocco is for me the Islamic equivalent of Israel bc they tend to show lots of similarities. The biggest one is that they both have been doing currently a genocide on innocent ppl who hasn't asked anything for it ( and in the case for Morocco indigenous tribes ), it's clear to say that we should condemn and boycott the country for its inhumane actions on it and also support the recognition of Western Sahara just like the rest of Africa, despite having a terroristic group as leadership of the country just like Palestine, especially that this gen0cide is currently being unheard by the Western countries despite Amnesty International alerting everyone since decades. I hope my comment has been useful
Extremist Christian nations in Africa as well. It’s just that those places are poor so tourists don’t visit them. Unfortunately, some of those backward Islamic nations have become popular travel destinations.
Thank you for this. I myself will not visit any country with questionable LGBT human rights. I don’t understand why people from the community visit places like this.
Thanks for bringing to light, these nasty countries, with bad attitude, I already would not visit them, I go further by blocking any advertising from them, I also won't buy goods from them, including many other countries not listed here, please don't support ignorance and hatred, boycott them, do your research, take action, by withholding your money, otherwise you help their régimes oppression.
Interesting content. As a cishet male, seeing this kind of content gives me insight into how minority communities live, thrive and suffer in a world that was largely unkind to them at first and remains so in many parts of the world. Thank you for this.
I could name a couple of queer travel influencers who justify essentially promoting these very destinations - especially destinations like Dubai and Morocco. I think the counter argument goes along the lines that eventual change depends on personal contacts and open lines of communication.
I get you! But it definitely does not seem to be working for all the LGBTQ people including travelers in prison. These countries have the internet and know what human rights are, plus many of their upper class travel the world and have met many “liberal westerners” yet continue to propagate their hate in their home when they return. I would wager the vast majority of these influences are being paid enormously to promote these locations in order to whitewash their reputation, but i definitely won’t stand idly by and let it happen quietly haha. Supporting these economies and putting oneself in possible danger for the off chance that some positive cultural exchange happens seems naive at best and a ploy to generate more money for oppressive regimes more likely.
I'm not rich, so I have to be particular about where I spend my vacation money. I'm NOT spending it in a country that doesn't support LGBTQ+ rights. I understand OP's reference to open communication, but I just can't risk jail time and persistent harassment at any time, let alone on vacation. Really, governments of countries that show actual respect for human rights need to be the ones applying pressure in various ways to these backwards sh*tholes.
I'm appalled by the 2nd worst place but at the same time, I am NOT surprised. Considering I've not only been to Malaysia - but I have worked there at an international school for around 6 months. Malaysia is a gorgeous country, and the people I worked with were actually very kind (and yes, some were actually gay/lesbian working there too. The ones I knew of moved at the end of 2019 due to laws changing). I'd love to go back, but only when things change as it is a beautiful country.
Well, 😁 I have 2 videos you may find interesting that are pretty similar to what you are looking for! This video covers the safest countries for LGBTQ people to travel in 2024. ruclips.net/video/8rZoyUKcfR8/видео.htmlsi=Dmm1DpCgJOhXa9V4 And this video covers the top 10 countries with the highest public opinion and acceptance levels of LGBTQ people. ruclips.net/video/IGURdIwmf6c/видео.htmlsi=WRQCZY2VmKBRNW7D
Since when did Turkish governments treat other people with respect? Just ask Armenians and other Middle Eastern Christians, Greeks, Balkan peoples, et al.
Thailand will become the *third country in Asia with marriage equality after Taiwan and Nepal. Love this vid. I've been urging people for a while now to avoid travel to these and similar places (although Egypt hadn't crossed my radar, so thank you). I would have lumped Indonesia in with Malaysia in this video, specifically to address visitors to Bali. You should make a complementary video to this one about where to visit to support queer people! I'm visiting Nepal this year so I can spend tourist dollars there as a thank you for marriage equality 😊 Loved your commentary!
That trip sounds so exciting and I would love to visit Nepal one day too! However, Nepal does not quite have marriage equality yet and I made a video diving deeply into the subject! I hope it is helpful. ruclips.net/video/xRgAJeyPrYg/видео.htmlsi=x2_yT1Gq1222_BOV Also many news outlets and activists that had promoted the idea that marriage equality was achieved in Nepal have since deleted or edited their content. But hopefully soon we will see Nepal actually have it all sorted out! 😊 Thank you for the support and kind words, I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
@QueerKingdomOfficial very interesting. I watched the video now. There's more than just the one straight trans couple in Nepal who have had their marriages recognized. But unfortunately every couple so far has had to sue the government for recognition. I look forward to it being sorted and still plan to visit them. Can't wait for the king to sign the law in Thailand. Once he does there is a high chance of my husband and I moving there!
Thank you for this rational and updated informative video made with care for our gay community 🏳️🌈 As a rule of thumb all muslim majority countries, Russia and most African countries are anti-gay and should be avoided and as the narrator rightly puts it the government or the majority does not represent every individual who live in those countries. We gay men stand together 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
The main thing I notice with countries that persecute queer people is religion. The religion is what governs the laws in countries that persecute queer people, if your country is at least a little bit secular it very much respects human rights a lot more although obviously exceptions exist in that rule aka China and Japan despite being fairly secular, they aren't the most queer friendly places on the other hand Thailand is very queer friendly in fact it is second most queer friendly country in Asia with Taiwan being the first. You would honestly have expected Japan and China to be first. For me personally the only country I would think about visiting but I will not because of it's horrible queer rights record is Egypt but the reasoning is very much Ancient Egypt has unique architecture and has it's own unique cultural elements like the Great Pyramids of Giza and that is a must see for anyone who likes ancient history. But I can forego visiting a country if only one thing about it is positive.
I’ve been to the Greater Toronto Area! I visited the Canada’s Wonderland amusement park since I’m a huge roller coaster enthusiast, and also the Hockey Hall of Fame. I got to see the Stanley Cup in person, and you could even touch it, but I didn’t want to because the Penguins had just won the cup. Go Flyers! 🟠⚫️
Excellent and informative video once again! Our Queer Family must see this for their safety! No lie, I got angry at the high levels of anti-queer energy these places have. However, I have no doubt that places & people like that will regret having hate in their hearts.
Nice video! It's good to see countries which popular countries to avoid, and their substitutes. One thing, if I'm not mistaken, is Thailand not the 3rd country to legalise same-sex marriage in Asia, after Nepal? Maybe you're going off a different metric, in which case fair enough aha. In any case, great video!
Thank you! Im glad you enjoyed the video! 😄 As for Nepal, I actually recently made a video about that very subject! You may find it interesting and useful! ruclips.net/video/xRgAJeyPrYg/видео.htmlsi=LvF5CDxBRryAIIYd
I am planning a trip to Australia next year and the easiest (and cheapest) route for me is to change flights in Dubai. I'm assuming that if I don't leave the airport, all should be good? Or should I think about taking a longer more expensive route to avoid Dubai?
You should be completely fine going through the airport! No worries at all as you will not even be legally entering the country unless you go through passport control, and even if you do have a self transfer and go through passport control it should not be a problem as you are simply in transit and the government of the UAE likely does not want to lose out on money by arresting people in the airport who are just trying to fly through the country as that would be exceptionally bad for business. I’d say safety wise you have nothing to worry about. 😊 I’ve never been to Australia before but would LOVE to visit one day. I hope you have an incredible time.
Perhaps you could do a video like this about U.S. states. Even some of the worst states for queer folks in the U.S. are better than most of the countries of the world, but many states have restricted or banned (*cough cough Idaho*) gender affirming care for trans people, and I’m really hesitant to support those places with my money
If there were in the top 40 most visited countries in the world they likely would have made this list. Still it is an important shout out and maybe I should do a video focused on the Caribbean specifically. 🤔
Alright then, I will definitely have to do that video about the Caribbean / Americas. 😁 And, I actually have already made a video with the top 5 best in Africa! ruclips.net/video/0qQh9ZX6_GE/видео.htmlsi=XcEh0-lF5aLUw2-B
Bosnia, Albania, and Kosovo are the most safe and accepting Muslim majority countries for LGBTQ people. I have spent a decent amount of time in each and can confirm it personally. Each of these countries has it legal to be LGBTQ and they even have some anti-discrimination laws in place too. Beyond these 3 however, all other Muslim majority countries are currently extremely hostile.
Visited southern (legitimate) Cyprus two months ago: it was beautiful! And safe highly recommend! The Noeth is very homophobic though I do not recommend
Turkey is part of NATO no? Don’t we have rules on human rights to be a member? Also didn’t they whine and complain about Sweden applying for membership because Sweden was suppressing rights of another group of people? This Islam crap is a blight.
Turkey still being in NATO is absolutely wild to me. Not to mention them criticizing Sweden. Insane. In my opinion Turkey has no place in NATO until they basically change everything about their worldview and society which is currently, fundamentally at odds with NATO and with broader liberal western values. And for that matter, Hungary should also be kicked out. Unfortunately that has never been done in NATO history and likely never will be, but maybe in time they will secularize and become better and more compatible. We can only hope.
15:20 I won’t call it Turkiye either, the government is animalistic, the name Turkey fits them! (I am a preteen. so I can’t join the queer kingdom because I have no money :( )
I would love to be able to vist Egypt someday since I find ancient Egyptian history very interesting and it has really cool landscapes but wouldn't go there today because of where things stand. Personally I'm optimistic that things will improve in these countries eventually since it has in other places (Europe 100 years ago was a terrible place to be LGBT but is largely pretty good now) and I think the internet and greater ease of travel means people end up meeting openly queer people and discovering that we're fine.
The data in the report is excellent but I think it would be more wordy if the leaders of the countries that are hostile were not named since these details give room to object to this information for being biased. For example, the rulers of Turkey and Russia are indicated by their own names but not those of Morocco and Malaysia. Since this channel is fortunately worldwide broadcast, I believe that taking care of the details is beneficial to transmit our ideas.
I see what you’re saying, and I appreciate your feedback. In my opinion some leaders are more directly and personally responsible for the bad path their countries are on than others, like Turkey and Russia, where other countries the general culture/society is the problem and things would stay the same even if a single new and good leader took over as real change would require fundamental shift that goes beyond its leadership. I think that Putin and Erdogan + their inner circles are personally the biggest reasons for hate and bigotry in their countries, whereas in places like the UEA, Morocco, and Malaysia the entire system and society based on radical religion needs to be uprooted and secularized. So for me, sometimes I want to drag leaders, and other times it is more appropriate in my opinion to focus on the society as a whole. It is ok if you disagree, we all have different ways of trying to achieve the same thing. 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️ 😊
You only selected Muslim countries. No coincidence, I guess. And you can add many more. My favorite country is Spain. It is rather relaxed about people and their sexuality, in fact, some of the largest queer events happen in Spain.
With so much to see and do in the USA, I just don’t understand the faulty logic of many of my fellow gay Americans why they want to waste so much money going overseas when we have so much interesting variety. What is it with my fellow gay Americans why they have on interest in traveling and discovering their own country.
One can make the argument that you can never truly understand your own country unless you experience someplace else. But for me, I travel because I like to travel. Experiencing the unfamiliar makes life more interesting and richer.
I wish! I visited Geneva in 2021 before I had any idea I was going to create this channel so unfortunately I only have a handful of pictures and short videos but I love the city very much. If/when I do make a video for Switzerland I will use the limited videos/pictures I took while there. ☺️
@@QueerKingdomOfficial bruh i hope one day u feel comfortable sharing your life story with your audience. seems like you’ve travelled all over the place, and settled in eastern europe of all places? i hope its not hungary or serbia 😭
If people really would find it interesting then one day I definitely would be open to it! 😁 For now I prioritize being anonymous since I can’t afford literally any protection, digital or otherwise, and I get daily death threats for this content so I’ll have to be a bit more stable and secure in life before I open up too much, but I’m fine with sharing certain things. As for where I live now, don’t worry, absolutely would never stay in Serbia or Hungary, trash countries. Before the war in Ukraine I visited each for 1 month and the hostility toward the EU and NATO and blatant homophobic comments cemented my disdain for them haha. Better than Hungary, Poland, Serbia and Slovakia, and obviously is not Ukraine, Russia, or Belarus, so it’s none of these! 😂
@@QueerKingdomOfficial yea that’s also what stoked my curiosity. moving from the US to eastern europe seems like a big downgrade? i assume its relationship motivated, especially since eastern europeans have a hard time getting even a tourist visa for USA. u learning their language?
Yep! 100% relationship motivated because it’s easier for me to live in Europe than it is for him to live in the USA. We do 3 months in his country and 3 months in Schengen countries and just alternate for visa reasons haha. As for the language, yes and no, I know some but as it is quite a small language and I’m an overly practical person I find it hard to be motivated, he speaks English like an American so it’s just easier to use English. All three abrahamic religions are a threat to LGBT.
💯 💯 💯
I think that LGBTQ community should avoid spending money in these backward and dangerous countries for our people. There are lots of countries that are welcoming and are fun and safe for all folks!
Lisbon here! I've talked with many people of the LGBTQ+ population about what u said for years now. Money is a powerful instrument. Don´t give money to homophobic people or places.
When Islam establishes more in Europe, it might as well be no safe place anymore for homosexuals and same-sex marriage.
Very well said, I agree. Thank you for sharing.
all of these countries have HORRIBLE corruption and horrible human rights violations.
i wouldn't visit them even if i were straight.
Right? 😂 Same here.
Exactly my thought. I wasn’t planning on visiting any of these countries, ever, anyway.
When Islam establishes more in Europe, it might as well be no safe place anymore for homosexuals and same-sex marriage.
The jewell of the Mediterranean!🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾 im glad you enjoyed it
I’m sorry you two experienced this, I am not surprised though, that is just how the majority of Turkish men are unfortunately.
Cyprus is incredible! 😍
Yeah, this is very unfortunate...
Crete is beautiful! I was there a bit ago

Greece is gayfriendly when you dont talk to the conservative othodox people there.
It is our responsibility not only to boycott, but to mass report all advertisements for these countries.
For real!
In Indonesia, isn't it only one province that canes queer people? But the country as a whole seems to have problems with human rights abuses.
Was that the only available itinerary?
Imagine, if you will.
A world where all humans actually treated humans like humans
Not to mention Catholic Priests worldwide...Who totally should have known better.
Morocco certainly was not unique with underage sex.
There are plenty of "friendly" places for us to spend our hard-earned money. Don't even think about these horror zones.
Exactly! These countries are waking nightmares for LGBTQI people, women, poc, poor people, non religious people etc etc etc etc
Exactly!
Yes!
When Islam establishes more in Europe, it might as well be no safe place anymore for homosexuals and same-sex marriage.
I showed this video to a friend of mine who is a lesbian, and she said it really helps her avoiding places that don't want her to exist, and personally i refuse to finance those evil governments as well, thanks man 🙂😊
I’m very glad this video is helpful and I really appreciate the feedback! 😊
Literally insane to me that so many people don’t already know to avoid these places……
the world can be happier if you ignore it sometimes, i think that's what's lead to some people being out of touch with these situations, that's what i think anyway, feel free to disagree
Being gay is part of humanity ..always has been, always will be and nations should just
get over it.
This! Perfectly put!
@@QueerKingdomOfficial _ty_ 🙂😉
i feel like "justifiability" makes it sound like it's disgusting, which it isn't.
I haven't put much thought into visiting Cyprus since i didnt know much about it. This video changed that. I'll definitely be adding it to my list!
Agree 100%. Why risk end up in prison if there are hundreds of other options.
When Islam establishes more in Europe, it might as well be no safe place anymore for homosexuals and same-sex marriage.
😂❤️
Agree that put the facts on the table very enlightening
Greece is an absolute must see. It’s the cradle of our civilization and there is so much to visit.
So... any Islamic country.

It’s like a Sunday morning reward 😍 made my day to see you had posted again after nearly 2 weeks!!!!!!
Not surprised by the list.
QK always telling it like it used to. Love the video and learned a lot!

Thank you for putting up this video. My partner and I are travelers and this is valuable information.
The county is getting a lot more homophobic and regressing at a rapid pace. Don’t see things becoming any good

I'm visiting Nepal this year so I can spend tourist dollars there as a thank you for marriage equality 😊
Loved your commentary!
Thank you for the support and kind words, I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Thanks for the vlog, very informative.
It’s made my day, opening RUclips to find this gem waiting to be watched, appreciated and reflected upon ❤

Yes! I love Canada! 😍 More people should visit, It’s an incredible country.
Go Flyers! 🟠⚫️
Can’t help but notice that all the 5 worst countries have something in common…
Yep! The religion of “peace” 🤣

Perhaps you could do a video like this about U.S. states. Even some of the worst states for queer folks in the U.S. are better than most of the countries of the world, but many states have restricted or banned (*cough cough Idaho*) gender affirming care for trans people, and I’m really hesitant to support those places with my money

excellent report. Thank you....
Is there a Muslim country that do accepting and it's legal? (and relatively safe). I'm really asking
AVOID TURKEY BY ALL COST!
Or any muslim country!
Great video.

I’m happy to hear it! 😊
Wise words
Omg been looking forward to this fk yea 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
That takes North Korea off my bucket list.

Im straight, but i dont travel.cause i dont have the money to do so,or the good health.
Cause everyone does? I would imagine a lot of people of any sexuality would be interested to travel abroad
One can make the argument that you can never truly understand your own country unless you experience someplace else. But for me, I travel because I like to travel. Experiencing the unfamiliar makes life more interesting and richer.
First
You were second I think! 😜

I live in an Eastern European country that is pretty average in LGBTQ rights, not the best but far from terrible.
I have learned plenty of romantic and naughty words though and that is what matters I think. 🤣
