@@GoobertownHobbies From now on, when I'm circling SW for hours on end, I'll be thinking about Gobbertown and decide instead of flapping around in the sky to paint some minis.
WoW Model Viewer was a really amazing tool for printing WoW models (although I only had a pretty cheap 3D printer so it'd be awesome to see the results with some supports and a better printer.)

Well Brent, I was a little dubious about the teal color on every building! You are truly inspirational and undeniably an artist! I think they look fantastic! I am just as glad the other buildings are maintaining their own colors and believe it to be a real world solution too! Nowhere is the roof color the same on every roof! Even in a made up urban-scape there is variety in each and every point of view. Thank you for sharing your esoteric schemes with us! I am looking forward to watching your next video! You are truly a master creator! Please take care and be safe no matter where you may journey.

The colour really makes these models pop! Now 3D resin printing is such a big thing, someone surely has to make some WoW buildings and scenery. Even if they don't actually call them that. You can tell the model sculptor lives in a part of the world that really has old buildings like these to use as inspiration - the stone and wood look really authentic. As a side note: the iron bars in the windows aren't iron bars but lead. In old times, windows were made from lots of individual small panes of glass that were made by hand. These were slotted together with strips of lead which has a sort of 'H' cross section. These are then soldered together to make a larger window. Very common in many parts of Europe, both in old houses and stained glass church windows etc.

If the roofs are tiled with ceramic, the color may be dictated by the color of available clay deposits nearby. For example, a town may be nearby to large deposits of red clay, and thus have red tiled roofs. It's possible to change the color of ceramic tiles by either mixing pigments into the clay or glazing it, prior to firing.
So it might be that the leaders of a particular town (mayor, sheriff/shire reeve, local lord) might mandate a particular color for the tiles. Or it may be a product of local materials.

Most impressive video, I must say! I have two unpainted tabletop world buildings lying around. And I now know exactly what colours are they going to be painted in. Being a huge Warcraft 2 fan, I guess it's Alterac time! :)

Oh my good this is so beautiful it hits my wow heart. This high blue shingle house looks like it is a house in „westguard keep“ in the howling Fjord of wrath of the lich king. Please share if you extend your goobertown this is so beautiful.

Stormwind always kicked every other city's ass. Really feels like a city. Every other city by comparison just feels like a place w/ a flight path, auction house, and trainers.

I really like these, the only one i would definitely repaint is the green one to either be red or blue for a slight split and have the purple one as sort of a transition

Oh my goodness, this is amazing! Now all you need is some good looking alliance forces and horde forces but it’s hard finding minis that look like the races in Warcraft. Only 2 that come to mind, Kings of war Ogres look like the Warcraft orcs and runewars humans

WarCraft 2 on PS1 was my JAM dude! Whenever I hear the PS1 intro I still think back to all my memories with that game.
Oh, and your stonework is looking superb too! :D

You've done a grand job of recreating the style of the Human Kingdoms. Warcraft II is still my favourite game ever, so much that due to its aesthetics it's also the biggest influence for how I picture fantasy-stories in my head. Even before Blizzard had its brief foray into miniatures, I tried to convert minis to look like figures from the game. I would very much like to give it a new shot and I am on the lookout for minis that have that classic Warcraft/Oldhammer look. :)

Such a cool style! I wish there were some of those classic footmen on the market.

@@GoobertownHobbies I recently saw some excellent renditions of WoW-characters made with HeroForge, while North Star's Frostgrave minis have a nice Oldhammer look, which also reminds me of Warcraft in the early days. They look a bit like humans did in WC2 and Lord of the Clans, so with a little green-stuff they ought to make for good footmen.

I like how you are continues about still finding a use for products you don't like; like you did with the Vallejo wash for example. I like it because I would do the same ;)
