I got my 5k2 yesterday using your link 😎 filled a 9L tank from 500-4500 psi in 38minutes this thing is a certified bad ass 😎 thanks for your videos. It did have two easy air leaks. So I think telling everyone to just take the cover off for the first start up is exactly what I and everyone else should do just like you said in the video.
I ran my old gen CS4 into the ground, lol...thousands of hours. I now have the CS4-I. I'm gonna treat this one better because I don't have to run it hard...as I have the Carette 2.0 to do the heavy lifting now. It's basically like having the combo that you have here in this vid.
How come the CS4 -I version isn't listed on their product page on GX, just the non built-in invertor one is listed, you have to search it. Is it being discontinued?
can the 5k big boy run on distilled water or does it need automotive coolant? i currently am running my cs4 on distilled water, and would ideally want to run the 5k also on water.
Coolant would be ideal, but I think distilled water would work. I would keep an eye on it for rusting or debris though. Easy to do on the 5k though! You can see right into the coolant pipes and such

The carette looks like a beast! I'll have to see if they would be willing to let me review one..
@Themightymooseoutdoor87 it's a monster, probably best in it's price point range. I filled my 9L Great White bottle from zero in 50 minutes.

The E-5K1 is a good fit between these two.

My grease cup came damaged due to the cover rubbing on it in transit, contacted GX and got the new cup. 5 hours on it so far.

I would be shocked if it was, I think it's one of their best sellers, going by my affiliate sales at least. It's a great unit.
