    Hurry up and get that review done 😂 I’m buying the 5k next week lol. Though I’m sure this is going to do a great job replacing my omega air charger. And from what I’m seeing they do a way better job with support and parts availability. Great video btw thank you. 😎

      @ if you can do anything for what might be needed for long term maintenance. Something like that. Idk if there’s any schematics on that unit available.

    The GX4i that I just purchased is labeled water tank as well.

    This hopefully can put some light on what coolant to use on your gx4. If you can use automotive on this there is no reason to fret over putting it in the cs4

    Should you top off that grease pot so it’s full? When you took that off there was an air space. Seems when you turn that pot screw the first time no grease will go in due to that space ??
    I’m assuming you will do videos on the time it takes to both fill and top off scba tanks ??

      I don't currently have a scuba tank, but hoping to get one soon!
      I've heard mixed things on topping it off - I personally do it, but the manual doesn't specify, and some people say it prevents you from adding too much grease

    How's the water and filtration system? is it sufficient as a stand alone system?

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  28 дней назад +1

      As in the air filtration? It works well for me as is, but I'm also in the desert. If you are in a high humidity area I would add an additional filter.

    I bought the last one on Amazon. How hard is it to get replacement parts? And where? Just in case

      I looked on gx site and it says sold out these things are sold out everywhere?

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  2 месяца назад +1

      They typically have replacement parts on their website, or I would contact support directly. They tend to come and go in stock, I would imagine being a bigger unit they don't keep as many in stock.

    a bit off topic, but I heard you mention in another video you uploaded, that you had sold your Leshiy2. Why? I recently purchased a Leshiy2, and just wondering why you decided to sell yours? Thanks.

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  2 месяца назад

      I just decided it was overkill for what I needed- it was nice having a gun that adapted to different things, but I just ended up selling it and getting a couple different guns.
      Still a great platform though, nothing against leshiys

      Ahh. Makes sense. I think it is overkill for pretty much everyone, but for a very few use scenarios. Thx for the reply. Enjoying your content.

    Sweet unit, albeit a pricey beast. Nearly 3x the cost of a CS4. Where did you end up buying yours from, Amazon or direct from GX pump? I currently have the cs4-i, but admittedly it’s quite slow on tanks 3L or larger. Other than the speed issue it does work quite well.

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  2 месяца назад +1

      That's for sure!
      I always go with Amazon, shipping, warranty, etc is worth it for me.

      How many of these GX pumps do you have? I’ve noticed you used a cs4 and a cs4-i in previous videos. I’m having a hard time justifying purchase of this 5K model, because I already have the 4-i. Do you often fill large tanks or just directly filling the guns bottles primarily? Thx

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  2 месяца назад

      @sallutz a lot 😂 the 4-i is a fabulous pump. If the 4-i is filling your needs you really don't need the 5k. I actually just filmed a video this morning comparing the two - it'll probably go out tonight. The tldr is the 5k is the 4-i on steroids. If you are doing a lot of filling of bottles, or say running a side gig filling tanks, etc it's probably worth the upgrade. But for a regular hobbyist the 4-i is great.

    • @sallutz
      @sallutz 2 месяца назад

      Yeah from what I can tell, the 5k is just a 2 piston version of the 4i, and probably has a larger “radiator”. Not sure, but perhaps the pistons are larger too, but maybe not. I use larger tanks to fill my on-board bottles from, and it sucks when having to refill the larger tanks after depleting them, since it’s a rather slow process. But that said, having the 5k for me would really just be a luxury of less wait-time when refilling the larger tanks, and not really a necessity. But then again, most everything I purchase insofar as pcp airgun stuff is a luxury and can’t be justified as necessities 😂 thx for replies and your content. Would indeed be interesting if you did a comparison video showing the fill time difference between the 2 units which I’d imagine is quite significant.

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  2 месяца назад

      @sallutz ya it's quite a bit faster - I don't have a larger tank at the moment, but I'm hoping to get one sometime soon. If I do I'll do a comparison!

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  20 дней назад +1

      @chevyryda60 yes they are! Basically identical aside from the piston. I have a couple videos on it, I bought one and Amazon sent me a used one. Kinda of a mess haha. But getting the new replacement in a couple days for a full review.
