That easy change system never made sense to me, leaving all that old oil in can't be good plus how expensive those filters are. Messy job but definitely worth it in the end, great job Tom!

You pulled out a perfectly good drain plug and replaced it with a plastic cap. It boggles my mind manufacturers send those out the door. Best solution I've seen is a hydraulic hose with a metal banjobolt for a plug. My personal preferences would be the pipe you put in to clear the frame and a regular bolt🔩
