With my third gen tacoma, I ended up having to run a tap through the skid plate holes and buy new bolts. I had 1 and then 2 of the bolts cross threading. I blame it on the oem self-tapping bolts they used. All good now. I have the same oil drain container. I was waiting for your oil to shoot up out of the container like mine does.

Would dielectric grease slow the rust down? Might be worth a try

gr8 find and fix, I got one of those but with a Kohler engine that somebody gave me because they couldn't get it started. Turns out one of the nuts came loose in the air box and fell into the carb blocking the choke from getting set

My Dad taught me years ago to put antizee on the coil bolts so they don’t seees😊

Surprised it had oil in it, they never check it😢😢😢

Just did a pressure washer, locked up aswell, turned out to be the pump main bearing blew itself to pieces.

At least there wasn't water in the engine. A hydro locked engine is never any good. Glad it was a simple fix for you.

Hmm why diddnt the customer want the mulching blades on the mowing deck if they had the mulching adapter on it ? Or diddnt Lowes have any left ? Seems that 19.5 is different to my one on my LA 105 with a different filter and the muffler stupidly placed close to the cylinder head that dont need any extra heat as its an air cooled engine In stead of mounting it underneath the frame like my one where the air could cool it So either it was a dumb engineer Or designed to wear out quicker Or an owner diddnt think things through Maybe beer was involved too ? Im needing a complete used hood for my LA 105 but it seems every one on flea bay dont want to ship anything to Canada Maybe there allergic to Canadian money ? So thats going on the waiting list as im definatly not going to pay $ 1500 bucks for a new one when i can get a complete used one for $ 200 bucks plus shipping and Hopefully the drivers understand English and what a fragile sticker means ?
