  • We were unable to upload the first Dyno on the LS TJ but this lead us to find out that the engine was starving for fuel after 3k rpms. We originally upgraded the current fuel pump via Novak Conversions recommendations and directions. While their method works and gets the pump at enough psi to run, it didn't give us quite the psi needed for this particular build. So we did some research and landed on the Walboro TI 255 lph. This should also be just fine if you just want to upgrade your fuel pump without an LS Swap but as always, make sure you research any upgrades to any vehicle that your working on. Follow along as we show you how easy it is.

Never saw a video with dyno results. Were you guys able to make it on the dyno? What did it put up? Your video series was one of my go-to playlists that I'd watch while I did my swap in my garage. I've got a similar setup in my TJ, but it's a 5.3 with flat top pistons, aftermarket cam, TBSS intake manifold, headers, etc. Kept the NV3550 as well...I'm wondering how long it will last...it's beginning to make some "fun" sounds. HA!
Going to drop my tank today and do this upgrade. I've got a similar issue...and it's always at like 2800+, but if I back off and then get back in to it, it feels like it catches up briefly...
