Really enjoy your videos mate. I'm at work at the minute, so I'll have a full watch later. My first PC I paid for as a kid was a 166mmx, and the next PC was Slot A 750, FIC SD-11 mobo with a TNT2 Ultra. Absolute beast back then. Wish I still had it.
Thanks for the comment and appreciation, man. I enjoy recording and playing with these cool retro machines. It really brightens my day when I bring people nice memories about those good old days!
@@gurujoe75 awesome man. My setup was around there, AMD Duron 750 too, but I couldnt aford voodoo, I had Geforce 4 mx440. But it was still capable of running 3d games at low details.
@@jeroenslaghout I think so. I have a GeForce4 mx440. But I dont have any voodoo cards. Sadly, I got into retro very late and I refuse to pay those over inflated prices for voodoo.
@@retroboby007 for a true Glide experience it's recommended, but a GeForce is better. Voodoo was a very short era in the 90's (95-2000), while the older GeForces can be made compatible with Glide wrappers. Rip Voodoo 5 5/6000 🥲. It would be been an awesome competitor.
Thanks for the comment and appreciation. I am a fan of moto racing games, but I discovered motoracer very late, on gog, when I got all motoracer 1-3 in a pack at big discount. I grew up with MotoGP on ms-dos and Tourist Trophy on PS2.
Nice computer and nice games, I use to play them all. I recommend Thief, Unreal, Half Life, System Shock 2 and Clive Barker's Undying. I have the same motherboard fic sd11 but isn't anything special just unique due to slot a, better 1999 option would be asus p3b-f or 440bx equivalent. I recommend geforce 256 ddr or geforce 2 gts for this build. I'd avoid any geforce mx. Also Aureal Vortex 2 or Sb live! I use Diamond Monster mx300 in my 1998 build aopen 440bx with scsi on board, p2 400, voodoo2 + matrox millennium 2

@@retroboby007doesn't a GeForce 4 MX 440 beat a Voodoo 3?

are you Hungarian by any chance?
No, sorry. I am italian.
@@retroboby007 no need to be sorry-- I was just curious because your accent reminds me of Sir Andras Schiff's, the Hungarian pianist.
Like and Subscribed.
