Hello A touch of LA I have been watching your videos And I’m grateful for information you share. I am wondering, would you be able to talk more about trademarking a brand and if you should compared to copyrights, and DBA? Do you always suggest getting a brand name or business trademarked? Can a dba or copyright of the brand name save a brand from getting into trouble from others that trademark a business under the same business name regardless of if it is the same type of brand? I am hoping to create a clothing brand. Thank you for all your videos.

I don't necessarily believe in trademarking your name, unless you think it's a big part of your brand. You can trademark anything in your business and that will help to protect you from other's stealing the name. What are you thinking of trademarking? Also! So do you recommend selling your OWN trademark products on Etsy? I don't see any videos on youtube recommending that. I have a few trademarks for clothing and i want to just list them on ETSY.
Hey there! You can absolutely sell your own trademarked items on Etsy! However, to sell on Etsy, your items don't necessarily need to be trademarked, you just need to make sure you aren't infringing on other peoples trademarks :) I hope that helps!
