So do you recommend selling your OWN trademark products on Etsy? I don't see any videos on youtube recommending that. I have a few trademarks for clothing and i want to just list them on ETSY.

Hello A touch of LA I have been watching your videos And I’m grateful for information you share. I am wondering, would you be able to talk more about trademarking a brand and if you should compared to copyrights, and DBA? Do you always suggest getting a brand name or business trademarked? Can a dba or copyright of the brand name save a brand from getting into trouble from others that trademark a business under the same business name regardless of if it is the same type of brand? I think how having FEARS that stops me from trying at all. I have to start having FUN that I would enjoy from creating digital products/printables. If they sell, yes wonderful! If they don’t sell, it’s okay! Why? Because I’m having FUN making them, isn’t that what matters the most?? Right? 😊

It’s an amazing book! A perfect way to encourage an idea that a child has. It’s true children have greatest imaginations! But as adults, we do have great ideas, but are afraid to share because of ridicule. Even appear to be silly because we are adults! Really, it should never make us stop from trying out our ideas!

What you were doing was research. It was a different kind of research than the keyword research - you were doing real world research. Old school style. lol

Funny you should post this today. My Facebook group has been crickets since I opened it up a couple months ago and invited a handful of friends, But they didn't join and I just didn't do anything else, you probably know the feeling, and it wasn't until just this last Friday that one of my Facebook friends finally joined, and it was then that I thought "Oh! I should really go and invite a lot more friends," and now I have 19 people in my group. Literally, 3 days later and I have 19 people in my group. And they're talking and engaging. 🤯 And ironically, that first person that joined left the group sometime in the middle of the night. So, you're not wrong. I was waiting for permission. We are such creatures of habit and submissiveness, and we need to start standing up and taking the leap for ourselves without waiting for somebody else to say it's okay.

Thank you so much for replying! That is so kind of you. In your research did you come across the Canon ts9521c craft printer? It has auto duplex, up to 12 x 12 paper (maybe even bigger) and excellent print resolution. I just can't find any hard facts about the weight of paper it will accommodate. Like you, I want to use heavy cardstock. At least 110 lb, but heavier if I can get it. Your video is gold. This is such an important topic that I can't believe there aren't more people talking about it! Thank you for sharing your research!

This is beyond helpful! I bought the 200 based on your great vid. Just received. I'm using Canva/ PDF and can't seem to figure out duplex double sided printing and am suddenly panicked that it doesn't print duplex 😱 Save my nerves (😂) and tell me it prints two sided??

Hi Lindsay, just a quick follow-up. To clarify, your point was that these research tools are most helpful when I already have some decent design ideas in mind, right? They can then validate my choices and find the best keywords. But even if I'm stuck, competitor research can still be a lifesaver. I can analyze their top listings, draw inspiration, and create my own unique version with the help of these tools. Anything else we need to know? your advice would definitely help us a lot.

i mean, yeah, but this video then has the wrong title or äh keyword? I think uploading products that i'm passionate about, but never get viewed because i didn't do research, THAT is a recipe for burnout. if i can modify my products slightly to fit the market while still following my passion, i think this is much healthier. that said, if one can use free keyword research tools first, that might be recommendable if you don't have the budget. personally, i don't like to guess and i want to force success and not hope for the best.

I was about to purchase an Epson ecotank photo printer but I'm so glad that I came across this video.... No disrespect to Epson, I'm sure that it prints great on photo paper but I need a printer that can print on heavy cardstock, something that my other printer wasn't able to do very well. I just purchased the Canon Pixma Pro-200 that you recommended...Do the inks that you recommend also work with the Canon 200, or are they only for the Canon 100?
