Maybe you can sew something from those weighted blankets.
That would be awesome
Yeah I was thinking that too. Sew a couple of weighted blankets together and fashion a big weighted onesie with velcro closures maybe. Would be pretty heavy though, and hilarious.
Bro IMMEDIATE dehydration tho lmao
He wrecked a perfectly good extension cord. 🥜
Fun idea, friggin hilarious to look at. I liked when you said”I don’t know man sometimes I just do stuff.” Good explanation.
He just ruined a perfect extension cord! LMAO
I would hang the chain's rings all around the body with the zip ties, and use another shirt on top of that to cover it up and stitch it to the one underneath, and the same for the pants.
This guy really taught me to focus more
💀🤣🤣
You could add some elastic to a chainmail shirt
you could also use custom resistance bands to sew into a suit for a similar effect
Waiting for the day you drop the "I made a gravity training room" video 😂💪
Man, if someone could just invent that or the hyperbolic time chamber from Dragon Ball Z, that'd be great! 😂
A Pigmie video always makes my day.
Fr
Why don't you try to workout in one of those full body medieval chained suit armor
Lol funny video, but brother it does exist😂 a boxer I train with had a full suit from Omorpho and they make leggings, vests, t-shirts, everything. Expensive but I tried them and they’re super nice.
Yoo thank you! I’m looking into it!
@@FocusedLucas There are a fair number of companies that have weighted clothing and bodysuits: KiloGear, PowerHandz, S.W.A.G. Strength Suit
@@FocusedLucasHave you ever looked into enclomephine?
HONEY!...Wheeereeeesss my super suit?!
I think this is a pretty good proof of concept. I think you have something here.
A better material to lay the weighted cords ontop of, perhaps
Or just insulate the material/underarmor as a whole to make it weighted, as opposed to having external weight bouncing around?
Ahh Yes, time to go Super Saiyan
some chain mail, ankle and wrist weights (use the ankle and wrist ones only while running/working out or you'll get joint problems there)
Chris Hemsworth's limitless on the last episode he used a resistance suit with bungee cords.
maybe you could like pay someone to weave extension cords or some sort of metal between fabric, and then give them your measurements so that they don't make it too tight, and then add more weight by putting more wire?
If you wanted to spend way too much time, you could sew pockets of metal beads/small ball bearings/lead weights over the immobile parts of the clothing. Like a weighted blanket.
Found your channel not so long ago, and just been watching all your videos recently and I love them. Could you not try with a surfsuit? that would stay on even better and already has weight.
Doesn't that make you get incredibly warm since its made to wear in cold waters?
11:25 I haven’t seen any weighted “suits” before - but weighted clothing (ie: shirts and shorts/pants) exist, as well as ankle weights, wrist weights, and heavy helmets. Additionally, there are boxing suits that use resistance bands and/or cables to add resistance to movement (punches).
I would have gotten some material similar to the compression shirt/pants and sewed in a bunch of pockets and filled with beads and sew shut, sort of like a weighted blanket.
Great video ❤
thats awesome bro
Quilted blanket with little weights in the little diamond pockets of the quilt. Cut and sew into shape of clothes.
Love it. Also the lady asking directions 😂
The lady asking directions of someone attired like that, was the best part. rofl
My idea:
A bodysuit that has hooks on each limb and joint so you can target a specific resistance move.
Example: Say you want to target triceps ideally you would connect a band from your shoulder to your hand and have one connected to your inner bicep for stability.
Or it could have the same tension effects that a bike brake brake is under using wire and springs.
Idk would be cool to always be working out while doing your day to day.
I had a chainmail shirt that weighed 30 lbs and man it was a hard workout just doing ordinary activities. Medieval solders were buff for a reason. To clean it you put it in a bucket of sand with a strong lid and roll it back and forth. You need actual armor type and not the costume stuff.
Pshh… should have just built a DBZ Gravity Chamber 🙃
You could probably find or make some sort of heavy beads that you sew evenly over the body. Maybe metal nuts or washers. Would be almost like chain mail. Or like others have said, a weighted blanket.
Try this with a wetsuit and lead rope. "What is Lead-Rope?
Lead-Rope generally looks like normal everyday rope. However, as the name suggests, Lead is contained within the synthetic poly rope. This obviously makes it a heavy rope, which is an ideal property for certain applications.
Applications:
Professional fishing: Used as method of weighing the bottom of a fishing net down.
General netting: Used as a method of weighing down Sports and Bird netting.
"
I'm actually very interested, how your Training Plan looks like. You do caliathenics, running, breakedance?
Hilarious, I like your spirit of ingenuity. I feel straight up chainmail with side laces for tightening would be easier. Cody Labs made and worn a copper chainmail shirt and lost a lot of weight.
I'm surprised this wasn't released april 1. There are multiple companies with weighted gear that either have mini pockets for weights all over or sewn in weights. It would have taken 60 seconds to do a search to find them.
finally a new pigmie vid, love them keep it up
How about stacking multiple soaked wetsuits and sealing them in with flexseal? More layers = more resistance.
You know what woydl work better than chiant mail. Wrapping chains of different sizes around yoru body obviously on a suit. Maybe keep it in place with velcro
How do you measure the weight and resistance of the “SUIT” though 🤔?
12:00 yes I was about to say this
Good idea as a concept, maybe you can improve it still. It reminded me of some people who make cosplays haha
A “Semi-Clear” idea in mind. That’s focused indeed 😂
lol. Now I need a video of you doing weighted calisthenics in chainmail. Chainmail can easily add 20+ lbs
Sweet idea. I’m an engineer working on a design for a suit that gives you resistance in every plane of motion. It’s a long way off, but I’ll let you know when/if it’s finished. Wish me luck. I’m doing this for the bros!
We need a part two
YESSSS BRO BUILD THE PROTOYPE!!! KUDOS!!!
On the next episode of Pigmie: Learning to fly and the Kamehameha technique
How do you think soldiers feel when they get inadequate equipment sometimes you got to deal with what you got train how you fight
cool idea
What if the clothing, was not only weighted but applied resistance with movement (bungee tension)?
You look like a superhero, CORD-MAN!
I think it would be easier to get/make small sandbags and sew them like pads. This is so ridiculous, I love it!
The only weight vest that I have seen at the moment are one from PowerHandz about 10lbs and one from Bartlas about 40lbs but it cost $500. I don't know if they are any good but you can give it a try
the training arc begins
This guy does th craziest things
I think this could work better if you did it with tubing and you could fill the tubing with sand or water
i was expecting resistance bands or something
im wondering if you could have like a double layered shirt/ pants and then add sand/wheat inside the layers , like little pockets kind of thing and then use a sewing machine to seal up the "pockets" of sand/wheat , a bit more brainstorming on this and it should work wayyyy better . look at rugby helmets for example , how they look like they have little pockets all over them , now imagine that look on your gear and weighted with sand or other material ???
Why not wrap the cord around the torso horizontally instead of in a random pattern
NAH, that video game protagonist tutorial outfit with the underarmor. How wonderful.
From what I have seen. There's some kind of a belt that attaches rubber bands to your wrists and ankles. Was kind of expecting you to use that in this video. I use a length of chain wrapped around my waste. Instead of a west. it's so much cheaper and it doesn't load the spine. It isn't the most comfortable thing thou.
Fashion Instagram will appreciate you more than RUclips
You inspired me to start a channel that is going really well. I'm on 968 subs 😁
You earned a sub
i subbed
Congratulations for 1k bro 🎉
Maybe you could try the same (kinda, not really) concept but with resistance bands… somehow
The longterm resistant suit option: Stop working out, eat like a maniac. Gain 40lbs and then start working out again. Natures resistance suit.
Or just eat like a manic without stopping working out, like a bulk.
Lmao do you feel like POWERFUL lmao. Dude you make me laugh so hard. Thanks bro we need more people like you.
Se vc achasse alguém que soubesse criar uma cota de malha de aço semelhante a dos soldados romanos porem um pouco mais grossa e pesada!
Instead of a weight suit, make a resistance suit (which is what I thought this was). Use elastic bands to constrict movements all over the body and your body will feel heavier to move while doing anything!
I love Pigmie but surely there was a better way to make a resistance suit like pockets for weights located in every part of the suit like quad’s, hamstrings etc.
Dude what did this add? like .1 lb to each arm, for example?
Cool prototype. I look forward to seeing these on people on the track and in the gym.
Omorpho has skin tight weighted clothes. BalanX makes one too
You should do a video learning martial arts for 90 days
Put him in the next one punch man 😂 The extension Corder
Something like that would be great for astronauts on extended missions to low gravity areas like Mars or the moon. Help them retain muscle and bone density.
Chain Mail! Please try a challenge training in chain mail. Ideally steel but aluminium would still be great.
I was looking into this 😂
Amazing 🎉
When I first saw the video of your suit I thought you were wearing a water hose for extra weght
Chain-mail is the OG resistance suit :)
I have cut a head hole in a weighted blanket and wear it like a poncho then put my robe belt around my waist. Pow im like piccolo/jedi now.
Don't use it during a thunderstorm! If the "cable" could be sewn into sleeves (tubes) and made part of the garment, the concept would work better. Same consept as a weighted vest but the pockets are long and narrow to accomodate the weighted cable.
Just get some Renn Faire armor. A mail tunic will be 80% of what you want here.
Extension Cord man !
He’s not the hero we deserve, but he’s the hero we get
He is
Flextension Cord
Make some more breakdance and and flip videos Lucas
My man is trying to create a suit of armor and train like they did in Medieval Europe
I swear in 10 years from now on we will have magnetic chambers, where you can train with suits on making you 2-times heavier, that stuff will give gains on a different level
big brain
Too expensive.
@@JustinCase807 A no-dreamer huh?
@@leveluplarsHey I think your idea is pretty cool, but just saying that it probably won't happen. :)
@@JustinCase807 Thats what people said about Airplanes once. We are advancing so fast lets just hope a little more
Yo patent this shit ASAP!!
amazon has one
Titin is the closest that has happened so far to a weighted suit they a shirt and shorts that’s close dragon ball z goku a weighted shirt I’m personally also wanting a proper weighted suit similar to the idea of the titin brand that went out of business
This man is a menace lmao
Interesting concept. Copper is malleable, relatively heavy and supposedly antimicrobial. Perhaps under armour, glue, velcro dots or velcro patches and small rounded copper body armor plates would hold better, be easier to adjust the Velcro, add or remove plates for different exercises or intensity? Might not look as cool of a cyborg suit though 🤔
I like this and made me think of adding pennies via velcro dots. But to get to equivalent weight you'd need around 1000 pennies
next video idea: "I trained as an mma, judo, boxing or wrestling workout"
bruhh ingenious
2:21 is that armor hero music lmaoooo
Hey man, you should try a challenge where instead of working out you intentionally flex each muscle group for long periods of time all day, for 10 days, to see if it makes any changes. I've always wondered
How about taking a fat suit and ripping the stuffing out and replacing it with sand?
Theres a guy who made a chain mail suit and he wears it under his normal clothes to add extra resistance throughout the day
Challenge idea try using your non domaint hand
Chainmail?
Shout out to under armor for making the fabric that is durable enough to hold up to this foolery
This will either be hilarious or HILARIOUS
Bro please try jelqing
Paco Rabanne created a lot of DIY chainmail dresses. He just sells you a bag of metal rings and an assembly manual.
Titin weight shirt and shorts was a thing but I believe they went out of business
Is this how Tony Stark struggled to make his suit as well bro?
