I got the legion 5 ryzen RTX 3070TI and I gotta say it’s the best thing I’ve had, I went from Alienware to Razer Blade to ASUS TUF and the legion is the best so far
I got Intel Core 12700H / RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GDDR6 / 32GB DDR5-4800 / 1TB SSD Then I slapped 2 2tb ssds in it. It's a beast. The only thing that sucks are the speakers. But I knew that going in.
I am honestly blown away by the performance I'm getting with this laptop. I calibrated the screen to look similar to my oled phone. Mine has the 3070 that goes up to 150 watts with the 12700h. $1599 from Walmart. It's a true desktop replacement for me. I might put in a second ssd and get 32gb of ram later on. For now I'm extremely happy.
I think it's important to note that the Legion 5 Pro (6800H) version has much better battery life, but performs worse on the CPU side. It's also substantially cheaper, at least in the US. Legion 5 Pro 6800H + 3070 Ti | 1TB | 32GB is $1800 available from Microcenter Legion 5i Pro 12700H + 3050 Ti | 1TB | 16GB is $1780 from Lenovo Legion 5i Pro 12700H + 3060 | 512GB | 16GB is $1720 from BestBuy (out of stock). Legion 5i Pro 12700H + 3070 Ti | 2TB | 32GB is $2150 from Lenovo
there's a large reseller here in the UK currently selling the 3070ti version of this for £1500/$1500 (£250 less than the ticket price). i jumped on it. the 3060 version is the same price as it everywhere else and the 3070 is more expensive. it's a bizarre bargain.
Maybe because other reviewers find out the AMD legion quieter? Also, it is no mistery that they use better cooling for the Intel version and no for efficiency reasons.
@@vitocorleone1351 Intel's performance per WATT ratio is worse than AMD. Intel has worse battery life and yet you say it has better thermals and performance? if you work indoors most of the time -- yes. personally, i think the better version, brighter and more colorful screen would justify the difference. I would go and try to check the difference in person, if this was possible
