case-by-case basis, warmachine is great for large scale fights as pretty much every scene he's in that isn't a small fight usually involves him lighting up every single person he sees with insane amounts of lead, this is super obvious in civil war since he was getting straight up bullied, small tactical missions and/or managing teams are where captain America is better suited

To be honest Iron Man is almost everyone's favorite but for me? I love the war machine way much more, like 100 times more. REAL bullets and REAL explosives are just so cool.
I like the two ways the suits were taken. Tony, creator of the technology and an engineer at heart, was ALWAYS looking to make the suits smaller, sleeker, eliminating weaknesses. The Nanotech was the final, most powerful technology possible. Rhodes, being a soldier, was always wearing a bipedal tank, opting for heavy armor and ballistic weapons over all of the future-tech.
