@@Mary-hi7yw ahhh the thing is...I grew up in an all-white country in the middle of Europe and I was told by teachers in school to tame my hair, that I can not have my hair like that, that I need to comb it before school (a comb would break if I tried to use it, ofc I'd comb my hair out after washing it but afterwards there was no way) etc. The same thing kinda proceeded at work so yeah...I kinda have to tame my hair. But curls are beautiful and I am proud of my heritage, I just wish people would understand some things.

In India, most married women part their hair in the middle. It actually looks pretty decent, depending on how it's styled. Then again, yes, most married Indian women also wear sindoor (that red powder thingie that signifies they are married) so the parting doesn't look as blunt. So.. You could be right.
These are great tips. My friends 13yo daughter is battling cancer. We bought her a bunch of fun color wigs for those days she doesn't want to rock her beautiful bald self. She hated how some of the wigs really looked fake. So these tips are perfect. We are going to have a wig styling party this weekend. Love your videos. They always make me smile. Ĺ

even though this might sound silly but I feel like it would be such a cool concept to have a group of hairdressers fix up cheap wigs like these and maybe donate them to families affected by cancer or alopecia who maybe can't afford nice expensive wigs! just a thought 😊

This is a great idea! I’m going to look into this! I bet I could find some friends interested!
You can make it ook even more natural by soaking it in fabric softener overnight then rinsing it with cold water, it will make it softer and take away some of the shiny plastic look to it. Makes it smell really good too. You can also rub a little bit of either talc or flour through the wig then shake out the excess to make it look less shiny. This is what a lot a cosplayers do when they can't afford super fancy wigs but still want them to look as realistic as possible.
Johnson's baby powder *had*? asbestos all up in it. Fyi.
Ok edit: apparently the deal is that they are facing heat over their powder containing it in the past for a very long time, even though the company was aware of that fact, and the harmful nature of it.

Sorry to hear about your hair loss. Give black castor oil a try. You can buy it from Amazon.
Fit n Fab I’m sure they have Alopecia (an autoimmune disease that attacks the hair follicles) , so castor oil won’t help. It will either grow back later or it won’t at all.
I shop a lot from this website called epic cosplay. I found them because they had a stand in Vegas at a convention. They are much better than Amazon because they actually fit my damn head and are comfy. Same price range as in this video too.
For brushing wigs I recommend using wide tooth combs because brushing wigs with normal brushes **sometimes** ruins the wig but the wide teeth comb well it just goes with it ok 👍🏽 and it helps de-tangling tangled wigs (I’m Not good at explaining things-) and usually you would have to seperate (like when you braid hair you seperate hair) and then brush the wigs from the bottom then eventually go to the top.

I wear wigs to cover my hair for my religion. I just bought a synthetic headband fall because wigs are THOUSANDS of dollars! Thanks so much for the tips, especially the dry shampoo! Brilliant. I have a dark brown tinted dry shampoo which was perfect to lighten up the black wig I got just slightly and now it’s closer to my color!

I know a lot of people whose hair is pretty much the same thickness top to bottom but almost all of them have their natural hair colour or very minimal colouring. Also, it gets thinner at the bottom mostly because of a layered cut or because it's not trimmed regularly. 😞

in comparison to a human hair wig. On the low end a human hair wig can cost $80-200. For a really good human hair wig you could spent up to $1000, so yeah $40 is pretty good for a wig

He meant, natural, as in, it MIGHT have been HIS HAIR coloured and cut said style once before- but NOW it was growing out and that process looks like roots and baby hairs. And even on blue, purple, green or hot pink, there is a method.

If I'm being honest... it looked REALLY GOOD right after you textured it with the razor... up until everything afterwards... then it ended up looking worse.

Well I don’t know about the curling part of the video on... but man- the steamer WORKED!! My friend gave me a Bellami synthetic wig to fix for her and now it looks human. Thanks!! I had to just leave it straight though. It won’t curl for 💩

This concept using laundry soap, fabric softners, boiling water and now steamers on wigs is the first I've heard of these things let alone the transformation coloring cutting, adding hair! That type is a heat resistant wig. It can withstand only a certain amount of heat before it melts..i don't remember how much tbh
Heat resistant wigs can withstand around 350-400°F

@@demipuff1416 yeah, they all have different ranges. The two I have go up to the range I had stated. Never had one as low as yours before, that's interesting but then again, I buy my wigs at a beauty store. Didn't know walmart sold wigs.

You dont ever use that heat on a sythetic wig unless it says its heat resistance. If it isnt it can melt @ as low as 180

What do you mean from bottom to top?? How does that work?
@@your.favorite.detective25 you just start brushing at the ends of your hair, and work out the tangles from the ends up to the scalp. When you start at your scalp and go down, ive always been told it pulls out more hair and damages it more. So i've always started at the ends and work my way up! Still brush down, of course lol
