That hairline was jacked up in the beginning pick. It looked like a bad Halloween wig.😂 You are a miracle worker. You beat that wig into submission!😅
I realize that this video is older, but your techniques to make a cheap wig look more realistic was extremely helpful for me.
I am experiencing major hair loss from a medical condition. I really can’t afford high end wigs.
You have given me some hope in my wig journey.
Thank you. 😊
Great Job!!!
I bought at TEMU very cheap wig, and its amazing. Obviously not all here are nice and its worth to read reviews - many with people pictures. The wig which I bought, is not shiny at all, looks lovely and natural , like my other expensive wig and also with proper cut and nobody believe, its synthetic and very cheap. IM wearing it everyday, and people just complement my new haircut :)
Me too! 💜
At the beginning of your video, l thought it was your own hair, wow, I've seen expensive wig reviews that don't look even close to good as yours. Thank you for the tips. It looks beautiful and natural.
Thanks so much, you are so kind!! Any wig can look natural if you give it a little love! Even expensive ones can look weird straight out of the box 😂. Thanks for stopping by!!
The tip for blending the hairline is wonderful IF you have a hairline … my issue is I have an exceedingly receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), and unless I place that wig almost on the crown of my head there is no ay to “blend” with my natural hairline. Thank you for the other tips tho
Best tutorial for this ever!! Thank you for actually using a cheap wig, other tutorials I saw had $40 wigs which is not cheap. Mine doesn't even have the clips or band.
You are so welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
You’ll never guessed what I searched for to find this….
“Why do all wigs look unnatural & bad?”
It’s the hairline or part that always throws me off, even lace front wigs. I can’t always see the lace scalp or the hairline doesn’t look right.
Crazy that this is such a cheap wig, but you’ve managed to create one of the most natural looking hairlines I’ve ever seen….it blends really well, even the part which usually is a dead give away isn’t the focus. This is a fabulous video! Cannot not begin to explain how much it’s helped me.
Wow, that root cover up spray is slick!! Great tips.
This is the best guide on making synthetic wigs natural that I have ever watched, and I have watched a LOT of videos! You are VERY talented!
For me (I’m guilty of this), is fiddling with my wig. I’m still very new to wigs, I find myself touching and adjusting it all the time. I have to make a conscious effort to leave it alone!!
I think I literally said in my High Octane review “Aaahhh I can’t stop touching this hair!!!” It’s hard because it’s so soft and so beautiful and we aren’t used to having long hair to play with!!!!
1 thing you really might find helps is the cut out the black patterned patch of lace cap right under the parting it really really helps remove the bump for 1 and the black band is quite noticeable and hard to cover..
Edit to add you did a great job I feel making some wig baby hairs to bring into your natural hair and use some baby hair glue (clear eyelash glue, got2b glued yellow tube)
The wig looks like real and really beautiful after the transformation. Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you girl-you are so creative & awesome,& it's so sweet of you ,sharing these great money saving tips w/us! I hate to sound cheap, but I just can't afford to get only real human hair &/or lace front wigs(that may not even last much longer than,or look much better than the synthetic cheaper ones)all the time. I would get them more often if I had the $,but unfortunately I don't have much of a wig/clothes/entertainment budget. Most of my money automatically goes to healthcare expenses(the main reason I'm losing so much hair lately,is from illness)& can barely afford to get everyday necessities to keep my dog & self alive+somewhat well,& my 20+ yr.old car running. I wouldn't be able to go out in public w/out wearing a wig now,cuz am too self conscious to be seen w/what looks like almost bald spots where you can see my scalp in certain areas especially the front top of my forehead. It feels like I'm in a real catch 22 w/the $ & hair prob.,so sometimes a couple of cheap wigs is all I can afford. Thanks to this & other helpful videos I'll hopefully find & learn more tips & tricks from, maybe I won't feel as if everyone can tell I'm wearing a wig whenever I go out! Bless you!
i am crying, this is literally saving my life!
i’ve ordered a synthetic wig a week ago and the hairline looks so cheap, i was already thinking about returning it.
i’ll definetly try this hack!
This makes me so happy! Let me know how it turns out!
Oh my gosh! I was hesitant watching this video, but I went ahead just out of curiosity. I have to hand it to you girl. You did an absolutely fantastic job! That wig looks nowhere close to fake anymore. It actually looks very real great job!❤
Even with the dry shampoo, that wig was still super shiny! Let me know what you think the biggest sign of a cheap wig is!
The bulk at the front especially if you dont have a hairline how should that be done ?
Bulk, no natural part and to shiney and always wearing the same hairstyle as the package
It's got to be the part & the shiny, all one length hair 😂😂😃
Doesn’t lie flat & flush to the head at the front. I use a topper sometimes and I had to do major renovations on it! And it was very expensive! Jon Reneau.
@TheWiggyWoman can you do a cheap Walmart costume wig with bangs? Mine doesn't even have a part and I'm not sure where to start.
I have NEVER seen a better wig transformation! You really deserve way more subs and views!
I’ve watched so many wig videos and this is one of the most helpful thank you
I am so happy to hear that!! What was the most helpful tip?!
That's how I wear my wigs, when the cap construction isn't big head friendly. Plus I'm not good at melting the lace to my forehead and I haven't found a great lace glue that stays down, for the length of time that I need.
Awesome!! I am so glad that this works for you!! I just use Got2B Glued and keep the lace on my wig pretty short. It seems to work ok for me, but every head is different :)
This has been such a helpful source of help! Makes us “newbies” she’d far less tears! Thank you so much!!
What if you don't have your own hair to blend in? What would you do? Due to alopecia I lost my own hair, usually I wear Remy human hair but would love options like this.
Beautiful! You are very smart and talented!
That adding real hairline tip is gold. Thank you for the tips
You’re so welcome!
This is fantastic. Please come back and make more videos ❤❤❤❤
Ooooookay. I' just got done watching like 50 of these videos to try and learn how to do this!! You are literally the FIRST PERSON that didn't say something like "well I think I messed up on this part but ..." It was really hard to get an idea of how to do it right plus that seemed like an excuse for wig not looking super blended. I can honestly say I learned things from all the vids but yours is the one that made me confident to actually TRY THIS MYSELF AT HOME!!! A heartfelt thank you for that! I'm recommending this vid to every one I know (some have cancer and hair loss) I know they will love it!
If I could suggest one thing I'd love to see is the method with a curly synthetic wig. Unless you'd say it's exactly the same w whatever obvious exceptions. Thanks again, I'll be subbed.
Oh wow this just made my day!!! I actually have more Amazon Wig videos in the works including a curly one!! Stay tuned! What do you find is the most intimidating part of blending or wearing a curly wig? I’ll make sure to address it!
@@TheWiggyWoman OMG youre the best! This is so great!!
Hardest part for me to overcome is the wigs hairline lifting and shifting. I would only use got2b "glue" if there was no other way but I been toying with trying to add a back strap (elastic headband) to hopefully wear the wig like a headband around the whole hairline. Blending just doesn't do enough to keep it down flush w my hairline.
Now I do get headaches when I wear tight regular headbands so I'll need it to fit but not squeeze. I know it's a ton for my 20$ peices but if anyone can do it I know you can!!
And just to reiterate what this means to me, two people very close to me have cancer and have had zero luck making even (more) expensive hairpieces look well blended. You address virtually all of my concerns! I've watched probably 4-5 days worth of vids on here and while they are great yours just takes the cake because not only is your end result good the whole process was explained and shown correctly and we get to watch the wig transform in real time. Love your angles and how you are slowhanded enough to let the camera focus . Getting up super close just feels more honest!! God knows I won't be able to stay in low light or far enough away from people to hide a bad or so so blend job.
Went out today and got my dry shampoo for brunettes, and mousse to help the wavy and curly wigs I will order.
Two things... Can you try to show finished product in high natural light? Like outside sun maybe? I'd love to be able to picture the end result in sunlight where I'll be mostly. And finding a balance between dry shampoo to take away shine (maybe just concentrate on top roots) and the mousse that I (may) add as a daily refresher to recurl or rewave the wigs. Wow I feel like that's slot!! I hope I made sense and that you don't mind.
YOU HAVE CHANGED THE GAME!!
Thanks for this feedback!! When I do review videos I do take the wigs outside - but a lot of what I film is at night lol. So - not sure I can do all the tutorials in the sun - but - if you follow me on Instagram @thewiggywoman I post tons of photos of these wigs in real life out and about in the world.
Unfortunately keeping these wigs on is way more of a challenge. You can make them look good but they're built the way they're built. A wig grip band + some bobby pins goes a long way. That could definitely be a tutorial all on its own! I also have a Support for Hair Loss facebook group where I (and many others) share photos and tips, and I'm in there answering questions one on one should you or those close to you also experiencing hair loss need some extra love. Just be sure to answer the questions, or at least put RUclips in the first question if you skip the others so that I know you're not a robot :) Here's the link to that group

Very nice video. I love your transitional titles for each step. Very lovely. And the wig - unbelievable! When the video first started, I thought to myself - how did she get such a good hairline out of that cheap wig?! Great job at making a cheap wig look great and very professional video. Thank you for sharing.
Perfect for just in case I want to make a film or if I want to cosplay

Wow. This helps. A friend of mind bought me some cosplay wigs when I 1st got into wigs and I haven't worn them since they look very wiggy. I'm going to try some of these tips n hope it works so I can wear them.

Thank you so much!!! You're my hero💞 I was just going to throw out this one wig that's so beautiful but had that sewn in part & now I'm excited to see how I can fix it. Wish I could show you!! Again, many thanks 💝💝💝💝

Always wanted to know how to get rid of the grey hairs. Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏽
Happy to help!
Youre smart! God bless you.
Thank you! That was fun and informative. I have very fine and thin hair, a tight budget, and an extremely creative mind! Lol I’ve been having fun with hair pieces.
The best way to fade wig shine is to use liquid fabric softener. It took the shine right out. Be sure to wash it out because the smell becomes very strong and nauseating after a while.
I have 2 synthetic wigs to play with now. Thanks for this tutorial!
What an incredible video for synthetic wigs! You are growing fast!
Thank you so much!! I can only thank my subscribers for that! I am glad that such a micro niche channel has been so well received!
What! Wow! 😮 that was an amazing tutorial! Great job
This was by far the best video I have seen on this topic! Thank you so much :)
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!! Let me know how yours turns out
Love it thanks for the help im just now learning how to apply a wig my hair sucks now its always in a pony tail. Cause its dry flaky and frizzy
Nice tips. I think if you make the eyebrows darker too, it would look really put together. :)
Yes! If you see later videos you'll see I ended up getting my brows microbladed and what a different that makes!
Amazing! I am waiting for a cheap 23.00 wig to be delivered in the mail to make into an Regency up-do (Jane Austen dress up). I’m so doing this! ❤️🇨🇦
I am telling u really helped me . Thank u
Hey! This is Khary. Playing through now! Thanks for participating in my experiment!
this was SO helpful! Thank you so much ❤ It looks so natural, you have some great techniques and tips!
I would’ve loved to see that wig which you cutting a bang on it. My hair is not enough to do what you did thank you so much. I love all the other tricks.
Thanks loads!! It saves me having to cut the wig, which to me is frightening!!!😄
I’m so glad it was helpful!!
Wow!!! Thank you so much for sharing this video ❤️
So my hair is natural redhead. The wig is jet black. Using my natural hairline is so not going to work 🤣
Grab some L’Oréal Root touch up spray in black!
@@TheWiggyWomantotally what I was going to suggest

Wow its an old video but woman, you are amazing! In the end its doesn't look as an wig at all and for that price? Amazing
I love it!!! Lifesaver 🥰🥰 my wig literally looks like the intro hahaha
Let me know how it turned out after!
Hi! Great video. I have a problem with wigs, since they are 18” or more long, no mater how I secure it, they are always falling back because of the weight, pulling my hairline with it. Any recommendations to prevent that from happening?
Wow wow wow you go girl!!! Love this video!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Glad you liked it!!
ok i’m new at wearing wigs but your tutorial is so great
Awww thanks! Welcome to the wig world!!
You made this wig look incredible! Thank you so much for the tips. Which concealer did you use?
This was very helpful!! Thank you keep up the great work
Thank you!! So glad you enjoyed it!

Hope you like it!
Hell yeah, rock that cheap wig!
Thanks!!!
Great job❣️ Thank you💖 Can you review the wig brand Belle Tress?
Yes! I do have Belletress! Was there a particular style/color you wanted to see?
@@TheWiggyWoman Looking @ Dalgona 16" & Caliente (they are suppose to be low density) English toffee & ginger are my favorite but whatever color that you like♥️ the shade ceylon looks pretty too...
It looks way better after, looks actually like your hair. I just wonder, which base had? Because my wig is pretty thin, im scared that if i plug it, it will be see through
Hello I wonder what is that white product you put at the beginning?
concealar
Thats amazing!!
That's exactly what I was thinking to do thank you.
Let me know how it turns out!
@@TheWiggyWoman it should be here tomorrow I definitely will keep in touch.
wonderful! helped me a lot!
Glad it helped!!!!
Wow I the wig I bought on temu was pathetic! Thanks to you it can be retrieved and worn! Thank you!
My natural hair color is black brown, and i love wearing red and blonde wigs. How does root touch-up going to conceal darker hair to match???
Excellent. Master. I can do that
I will support you because of your honesty
woww this was so helpful, thank you!! 😊
You're so welcome!
Such a great video! How can I heat it to redirect the hair by the crown if it has a little curl-wave towards the end?
OMG thanks so much for the tutorial 😩😩😩😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
You are a wig wizard!!!!
Aaaaww Thanks!!!!!!
It’s the hump for me
question!!! do i clean and re-apply the concealer everytime? or just keep it on?
It will come off each time you wash the wig, but between washes it stays put!
My wigs tend to get really dry and crunchy after awhile (the human hair wigs tend to be worse than the synthetic, but both do it). I've tried washing them with special shampoo, putting coconut oil and other moisturizers in them, but nothing works. Any advice?
I personally use regular fabric softener in hot water soak, for about 30m
Im a natural redhead trying to style a blonde wig. Would blonde touch up spray work?
What do you do for a colored wig like purple, blue, pink, etc?
They make a similar spray called "Colorista" that I spray on my hair first to get a colored base, and then when I am blending I go over it with a similar colored eyeshadow!
This is a great idea for another video as well!! Thanks!!
Omg I'm new to wigs these are great tips!
I am so glad you found it helpful!! You may also enjoy this video! ruclips.net/video/TJQhEjCZTUg/видео.html
you did so good !
Thank you so so much!
Toward the end, you'd mentioned that this particular Amazon wig isn't one you'd use with a Wig Grip. Can you explain why?
Because it has combs that need to go into your hair and is somewhat uncomfortable and it still wasn’t very secure. A wig grip adds bulk too, so to add that with a bulkier wig would be a lot.
No hair line, stitch down part, and the blinding shine...if you can fix this...you are good.
Thanks!~
Amazing!
Did you wash it or use steamer to deflat the bulk on top?
Awesome
