I don't think I'm the only guy posting here that, if there ever were any lotto winnings to piss away, Icon would be my urinal of choice. Love your work Jonathan. It causes me to think more positively and see more possibilities in every day automotive engineering.
How many did they make wasn't very much my dads budy had one my dad had scout 2 they would 4 wheel where the tanks practice he was in the army they were crazy lol
Your videos are a work of art. It is the second time I watch this and the beauty of the result, awesome story, wild mustang campaign and expertly delivered imagery make for a perfect and heart warming watching experience.
I love what you do. Don’t they say love what you do and you will never work a day in your life. All of your work is awesome. Thank you for your inspiration
Thanks Jonathan, I was watching the 49 Derelict as this one uploaded.Beautiful Bronco! I do especially appreciate the off road adventure shots with the herd of Mustangs. Please keep doing what you do as your creations are an inspiration to us all.Jerry
Once agin a joy to watch. Every production is a new revelation to what is possible. These old rides hold memories that are priceless. That bronco picture outstanding. Keep up the great work that inspires.
It’s awesome to see this one survived so well, and to be preserved as found. I imagine most of these just rotted away since they had zero protection from the elements. Definitely the right call to leave the service notes on the inner fender. As always an excellent build Mr Ward!!
This Bronco is just pure an naked like a newborn baby ! Even it is a bit updated underneath... JW, your derelicts are amazing !!! Magnifique as we say in french !
This is one of your best project to date. My first love is a Jeep, my second is the first Broncos. The one you are driving is the one I want because the front window is made to fold down. When you get that model with doors, all you have to do is roll down the window on the door and remove four screws and you have half doors. The panel behind the front seats is there so you can put on a half roof and have a pickup. You can also put on a full roof and have a station wagon type of vehicle. Back in the day you could take off the doors and buy after market fiberglass inserts like this sport model has and then you would have a sport. For me it is all about options and this vehicle has it all. Way cool, thank you for sharing.
Theo Hatch...wow, you and I are twins in that those are my favorite rigs as well...I've got a 49 Willys Cj-2a with a 289 K-Code Ford, 4spd, Atlas Transfercase, Dana 44 in back and Dana 35 our front, both with ARB lockers, and my Dad gave me, GAVE ME, his 74 Bronco with 347 Stroker, 4spd, Atlas II, Ford 9" in back and a Dana 44 in fronr with ARB lockers..l only have it cuz he can't depress the clutch, arthritis in his knee prevents it....
Jonathan! You outdid yourself on this one! One of my favorites! Not that I would have given up a vehicle that had so much personal history, but if I did, I'd REALLY be regretting it now...
Amazing vehicles aside (this bronco is super sweet by the way), I hope to someday have even half the name you have in the industry. Killer work. I love everything, cheers!
Super cool project. Learned to drive manual transmission on a 1973 Bronco, they will always have a soft spot in my heart. A shame the weather around here wont support owning a roadster....sigh. Great work as ever.
Great locale for your secret shoot, beautiful photography, and what a wonderful cause to donate to. It's impossible to pick a favorite Derelict, but I sure love this one.
Great video! This summer I got a hold of a 1967 Jeepster Commando that I'm using topless this summer and plan to keep it for a while. The natural patina is awesome, saved from a painting booth (well sort of, the previous owner had gotten an estimate, car still has the graphite marks from the paint job study of the car before he sold it to me). I have a video of it on my channel, it doesn't come close to your videos, but I think this Jeepster is worth a look. It is no Bronco or Toyota, but still, it is not bad as a 4x4 vehicle, a survivor! I will look into the paint protection you talked about. I used boiled linseed oil on my Jeepster. Thanks for doing great work with vehicles. I'm a fan of your derelict line.
Beautiful Bronco, but more importantly, thank you for helping create awareness of these extraordinary animals and groups preserving them and the land they live on. BLM land is your land. It’s our land. M
I have a remote and not widely known place in KS that I enjoy watching Wild Mustangs. I don't have access to the land so we have to watch them from afar. They are beautiful animals.
awesome truck and awesome cause. love the derelicts. likely unhealthy need for one, all in time. I had wanted to do that Ferrari 250 body as a derelict with an Lamborghini based v10 and awd. lol mess with the purists. can't wait to see what happened with that car. thank you for sharing.
Need to do a 8701 Jeepster derelict... The 8701 was the competitor to this vehicle and released in 1967 but had a power top and other amenties which are just amazing for a SUV of that vintage. They were the high end of the Jeepster model line. Would be amazing!
I think a Jeepster derelict would be really cool. I kind of have a love for the 72-73 Commando, mostly because of my love of Scout II's, they are kinda similar in styling. I don't think Jeepsters were that close of a competitor to one of these early Bronco roadsters. The Bronco roadster seemed more like a competitor to the Jeep CJ5. A Jeepster would be like being in a Lincoln compared to this thing. It seems like back when these were new, a stripped Bronco with no doors would have much more appeal to a farmer/rancher than someone that wanted to drive it every day.
my one suggestion, would be to consider working on an adhoc wifi instead of bluetooth for the stereo. Maybe a logitec (LMC) squeezebox or similar. Nothing would change as far as appearance, but it would allow greater functionality.
I like it Johnathan. The only things I would have done differently would have been to left the stock ride highth, replicated the stock hupcaps as shown in the original pictures and used the wheel and tire combos similar to other derelicts you have done. I wouldn't have used the aggressive off road tires for this one.
Only a real Car Guy would know to leave the service record alone. Thank you for what you are doing for the wild horses .
I don't think I'm the only guy posting here that, if there ever were any lotto winnings to piss away, Icon would be my urinal of choice. Love your work Jonathan. It causes me to think more positively and see more possibilities in every day automotive engineering.
The purity of this one might just make it my favorite.
How many did they make wasn't very much my dads budy had one my dad had scout 2 they would 4 wheel where the tanks practice he was in the army they were crazy lol
Jonathan Ward the type of guy to turn a feature film into a successful sequel.
Carcaine
He really needs his own JW’s shirt designs.. this gentleman ain’t boring..
The production value just jumped! The thumbnail was great, intro was great, and the voice over during start up! Nice work!
Collins Mbugua I thought he just upgraded to god mode so he can talk without moving his mouth now.
Taking a page from Petrolicious.
Your videos are a work of art. It is the second time I watch this and the beauty of the result, awesome story, wild mustang campaign and expertly delivered imagery make for a perfect and heart warming watching experience.
YES!!! LOVE this!!! You guys are doing AMAZING things. That Bronco Roadster is a thing of beauty!!!
Definitely one of your best builds, Jonathan! Keep up the great work!
I love what you do. Don’t they say love what you do and you will never work a day in your life. All of your work is awesome. Thank you for your inspiration
This is one of the coolest vehicles I've ever seen. It has brought tears to my eyes. Continue your craft and be well
Holy crap! Next level build, the shot of it on the salt flats is one of the most aesthetically pleasing things I've ever seen.
Thanks Jonathan, I was watching the 49 Derelict as this one uploaded.Beautiful Bronco! I do especially appreciate the off road adventure shots with the herd of Mustangs. Please keep doing what you do as your creations are an inspiration to us all.Jerry

This video brought a tear to my eye. Thanks Jonathan. You did it justice.
Love this one. Great job.
Thank you for putting these videos out there, you build what I have always dreamed about.
Love it! Thanks for the detailed run down and backstory. Another homerun!
I'am speechless, it is so pure, absolutly beautiful 😍
It’s awesome to see this one survived so well, and to be preserved as found. I imagine most of these just rotted away since they had zero protection from the elements. Definitely the right call to leave the service notes on the inner fender. As always an excellent build Mr Ward!!

Awesome as always ICON! Keep up the creativity.
Love your work. Proper mix of new and classic
Love ya, Jonathan. True industrial artist and all round good guy. Thanks for all the great videos!
Great build , can't wait to see the next one🤗
This is now my favorite build you've done. Sympathetic resto-mod.
This is my favorite Icon off roader. Nicely done, and props to the guy who agreed that it was best left original.
Man, I love how you do restorations. I hope I can afford one someday.

You're right about options. Very cool. I think that the panel behind the front seats also supported the bench seat.
Another priceless build!
So lovely mate......real real art in the vehicle, so much so much glory come back with the car.
Jonathan! You outdid yourself on this one! One of my favorites! Not that I would have given up a vehicle that had so much personal history, but if I did, I'd REALLY be regretting it now...
Gee-wizz'ard man, Jonathan this one really is a beauty. Thanks.... can't say anything else. Truly magnificent.
Amazing vehicles aside (this bronco is super sweet by the way), I hope to someday have even half the name you have in the industry. Killer work. I love everything, cheers!
Thank you for everything you're doing. Everything.
I love this thing! It’s the best Bronco you’ve done yet.
This guy is brighter then a lot of folks can even imagine or he's got some awesome advisors his marketing has became phenomenal
Jonathan Ward I noticed a bit of a change in you I think you're hitting that next level
That's too cool. Great work. Can't wait for the next shop tour video. Hint hint.
Good job Jonathan, what a beautiful Bronco.
Another awesome car put back to the road in a lot of style. Well played, Jonathan.
Super cool project. Learned to drive manual transmission on a 1973 Bronco, they will always have a soft spot in my heart. A shame the weather around here wont support owning a roadster....sigh. Great work as ever.
So many Icon Classics but Johnathan this one is possibly my favourite to date.
Great locale for your secret shoot, beautiful photography, and what a wonderful cause to donate to. It's impossible to pick a favorite Derelict, but I sure love this one.
AS ALWAYS GREAT VID JONATHAN.
Fantastic very well done guys
I was just talking about you and your company. I guess youtube has ears everywhere. Worth it.
Wow what a great car and a great story behind it.
Amazing build!
you guys at ICON are artists, nice video too. thanks.
Beautiful, Jonathan Ward turning into Ralph Lauren.....Subbed and always a thumbs up!!
I love all the Icon Broncos but this one is definitely special.
Jonathan, I get it patina, patina, patina but i'm lovin that cyclone engine you've given me a great thought many thanks...
One of the best yet.
This was inspirational.

#crazystupid
Wow! I love what u do. I am a chevy guy, but i gotta say those old broncos are awesome. Some day when im rich, or famous lol, i would love to buy one.
I recently found and acquired my grandfathers 1961 Scout and would love to do something like that with it! Very Cool!
Beautiful Bronco, but more importantly, thank you for helping create awareness of these extraordinary animals and groups preserving them and the land they live on. BLM land is your land. It’s our land. M
Amazing work of art under the skin. Love the mini ad campaign, Ford can't do this anymore, but Jonathan can, very cool.
Best yet! 👍
So awesome!
I don't fancy American motor cars, but this is the exception, the colour and patina. Top drawer.
America has always built the best cars in the world. Maybe you like driving second rate cars. Lol
This is perfect!!!
Amazing!
Thank you for sharing with us.
JW...one of if not your BEST to date. Thanks for sharing the Love. What's next?
I no longer desire to own sports, super, hyper or luxury cars. I just want a damn Derelict! As always an amazing and beautiful build!
Jonathan, you are top flight!
Amazing Bronco!!!! it´sROCKSSSSS
I have a remote and not widely known place in KS that I enjoy watching Wild Mustangs. I don't have access to the land so we have to watch them from afar. They are beautiful animals.
Love this one ☝🏼
GREAT ONE.
I think the term that fits for the Ceramic Pro brand in your case is that it creates an "arrested decay":) Great work as usual.
Old Broncos are great....and jonathan ward as kevin Kennedy in heart of the city was great too.
fantastic
جيلانو الاول الحمدلله عسلامت عليتك زعلت كتير وصوتك عم يرجف حست اني انا نشكرا لله عكل شي الله يحمينا ويحمي عجميع🌷🌷🌷🌷🥰
My left foot and I love this Bronco !
I love this truck.
Perfection!
Amazing

That thing is beautiful
Derelict, I get it. Loved by all who truly know it.
WOW! Soooo coooool...
I hope you took a pencil and wrote “derelict package-2018” or some such, so good that he wrote it on the vehicle!!
@johnathan ward. Dam them sunglasses! Love them.
You da man!
Masterpiece

Jeep sold a similar stripped down version called the 8702.See photo imgur.com/a/O2yTj9S
I agree about the Jeepster, but I would have liked this for your profile name & pic, alone.
A quick search of internetland and I couldn't find where you mentioned the sunglasses... Clearly they are a FAV and I would have to agree!!
Thomas Welcomer these are Dillon sunglasses.
Just Beyond Cool..
My favorite love ❤️ story.
Awesome
