Every time you do one of these I think, man this is the best one I've ever seen and you keep raising the bar. Thanks for including us (window shoppers who could never afford your product) on the journey. It gives me something to dream about. No 302 badges (great style choice) but I would prefer to see the old school visors on the old school build. This is the kind of vehicle I would buy if I won the lottery.
I love your work. You have evolved the vintage car market with your styling choices, and use of current technology. If anyone is going to evolve the safety of vintage cars (as a natural evolution) I suspect it will be ICON. Universal airbags, traction control, and anti lock braking systems would do wonders on classic rides. I know many would consider this taboo but if done with taste they don't have to take away from the styling of a classic car that is so loved, and will certainly enhance the safety and driving experience of a retro vintage car build. Thank you for advancing the vintage car hobby!!
a testament to your crew and your design. each vehicle you make is just that much better than the previous. i love this truck. it's stunning. i love the old school vibe. what is amazing about the color is the closeness to an old factory Ford coloring. well done i hope she drives it a lot. it deserves to be on the road.
Everything you guy's do is simply amazing! Johnathan you're an amazing mind... Nice seeing you geek out... One day... I'll be calling you to geek out on a vehicle for me...
Thank you for not messing with the stock grille. I was brought home from the hospital as a baby in a 1968 Sport Bronco. This one reminds me of that truck.
I usually not a big fan of bright work but this truck, in this color, with those wheels, it just pulls me back to the 50's with the whole two-tone and chrome look. Love the old school Icon logo as well. Excellent design and I can totally see the original's influence. Definitely don't need the 302 badge.
This lady is getting what i think is your best ever Bronco build. I know it's Tiffany blue but dang I'm a guy and I'd drive that in a heartbeat. Looks awesome. No 302 badges and switch to old school visors that match the seats.
I think this is my favourite BR that Icon has made I fricken love the look of those headlights over some of the LED bug eyes and I love the softer pastel colour of that Tiffany Blue. It also is my favourite type of restomod a reimagining of what an OEM might have it be today.
Youre right on the visors . I Like the incognito resto mod . No one would know its a resto mod with out investigating . Another fine fine icon product!
Given your attention to detail I’m surprised you didn’t get rid of the raised white lettering from the inside of the tires. Really enjoy all you do, keep up the high quality work please.
Impeccable taste on the part of the owner. Absolutely love the color and would pick it myself. If I had my way, no stinkin badges😉, old school visors, and keep everything else the way it is. Love the A8 style interior lighting, exactly how I’d want it. Love the rowdy exhaust too. It would be great to have the LED headlights for night functionality but how can one integrate them into such as classic build. You have blended the past and the present so well that this one aspect can be left on the table for later. Amazing build Jonathan and Icon.
What about making a sleeve for the visor? Retain the functionality of them when needed but when not, have a sleeve that looks more traditional that slips over them.
I like the visors (they are functional) and the 302 badges should be a customer preference. Personally I’m a fan of the badging. Another sweet ride Jonathan. A classic old school Bronco.
My god! Everything you guys do is brilliant. I’ve always been the type to enjoy function determining form but when icon does bright and shiny they get it right,
Another beauty....I would leave the 302 badges off and go without the icon modern day visors. Fantastic color....works well with the old school vibe. You should make one with the classic Carribean Turquoise color code that Ford used in the mid sixties. My dad had a 1965 Ford F250 camper special truck and it was a great color with two tone interior turquoise with white.
I like the 302 badges left off. I think the Icon side logo would look really cool with the bucking bronco integrated in with it like the original side logo had.
no to the 302 badges and i think your right about the visors, though i think with the stock visors you could ad a swing down extension visor of your type/brand, very nice Bronco
Beautiful build as always Jonathan. In honor of the customer perhaps tiffany blue upholstered sun visors with courtesy mirrors and led lighting would be appropriate. I would imagine many female customers would appreciate this option. No 302 badges needed on this build.
Love it, keep the badges off, and leave the visors. Make sure to hold on to the original parts in case I talk you into selling it to me. Lol. Beautiful rig and sounds great. Happy trails ! New subscriber.
That dash is gorgeous. The entire thing is on a genius level of design. Believe me, from what I've seen over the years, it's not difficult to utterly ruin a special kind of vehicle with poor design and mod choices, but you always manage to make them even better. I think that while the visors aren't bad looking in that particular vehicle, they could be better. I would think about doing something similarly minimal, but solid. You also have to think about the fact that women like to be able to do their makeup in the visor mirror (with lighting) so I would think about doing a very minimal two piece (two halves, together making a shell around the glass, LED's, frosted lenses, and electronics) visor with a mirror and some LED's under frosted glass or plastic lenses, but still very thin, light weight and minimalistic. Maybe the visors themselves could be in that same tone and texture as the powder coated center console on the portion that faces out the windshield when pulled down, and the Tiffany blue on the side facing the driver. Stick with the 302 badge being a no-go for the classic look. I think it looks really damned classy as it is.
Another beauty Jonathan. Love the old school color scheme two tone Tiffany blue with white wall tires. A light green mint color would look good too both inside and out. The 66 Bronco had a nice turquoise green color that you rarely see anymore. My dad's old 1965 Ford F250 truck had it so there is some warm fuzzy nostalgic feelings whenever I see that color. I might have missed it but did you mention the model year for this Bronco? Happy Holidays to you, your staff and your family.
It looks clean without the 302 badges. I like the functionality of the visors. If you’re torn on the aesthetic though, have you considered a vintage ray ban look? Like a club master or aviator touch?
I’m a conductor for UPRR and our G.E. locomotives have a similar type of sun visor. While these visors are highly functional and useful in a locomotive, I feel like they look very out of place on an Icon. On top of which, I can report that they collect a ton of dust and fingerprints in very little time.
Interesting comment on the LED headlights.. I run Hella h4 housings with LED bulbs and they work very well. Huge improvement over the stock halogen bulbs as well as less power draw. I don't notice any funky refraction. Also not blinding oncoming traffic. On your tire carrier, are the hinges tied into the frame? Seems like the owner may have issues with that carrier sagging over time with that big oversize tire on it. Love the color scheme
I'd like to see you do something incredible with a 1st Gen Toyota Celica. That would be, hands down, my favorite build of yours, and I know you would do it like no other ever could. Please, please, find a way to do one. I couldn't possibly afford it, but I could most certainly drool over the outcome and I know you could find someone who would want one.
I like the old school build, I’d put in the original Sunvisors and I’d also leave it as an option for the 302 badge for the Customer to decide if they want the badge on it or not.
Jonathan, this is just ridiculously gorgeous! Serious fun must have been had in building it. Love the old school!!! Quick question: The old school wheels... I know your forged aluminum rims are sourced elsewhere, but are these from Circle Racing? Are they also forged aluminum or "old school steel"? Thanks!
Excellent Build... As to your question ( for me )... I like the NO 302 emblems.. BUT.. i have to agree with you on the Visors ..The rest of the interior looks SO vintage cool.. They just look out of place ( then again that's just what i think ).. The truck as a whole?? Off The Chart Great...
If it was mine, wish-dream-wish, I’d ditch the visors in favor of more traditional visors and I’d have the 302 badges. Beautiful truck, the client is one lucky lady!
LOL old school stands out more as it looks classic. Very clean dash. I am looking to add the BC bronco vintage air and want in dash vents. What else should i know. Would love to bring my bronco by and get your thoughts and check out your shop. I use to drive by your old shop.
Leave 302 badges off, I think a traditional visor would look better. Can you get the LED's in the step lighting to match the door lighting? That bright LED white seems very modern compared to the warm colored LED's in the door trim. Just a thought
Greetings Jonathan, My thought on the visors is leave those to the clients taste. As to the 302 badge, could you use the magnetic business card tape and place one on for inspection? Again, customers choice...I really dig the Old School geeking... , and that color was Ford Factory in 1969, had an F250 that color. Here's waiting for the next reveal, Jerry
Such beautiful work. For these old school versions, I disagree with wheel diameter and ride height choices. From up close they look great, but from 50 feet, they make the vehicle look like a bobble-head. Needs a more sympathetic 15” wheel and narrower tire, along with a more modest lift.
Do you remember the green tinted glass from the 60? Had it on a mustang. Made it feel special. I'd leave the icon badges and not add 302 badges. Have you thought of doing retrolooking accessories? Bumpers and trail lights like it was added back then. I know the retro tuned thing was big in hotrodding a while back.
Great work!! Where did you get that steering column with the Ford spline. I went through so much trouble mounting my 4x4 F100 steering wheel on a ididit column. We needed up broaching the Steering wheel with a Chevy spline
Agree with both statements. No badges, and go old school with the visors. Especially with the white headliner. Maybe if it was a dark headliner the visor wouldn't stick out as much
Nice unit...a bit high for my taste, although the buyer may be going off road...the badging and visors I'd like old school... Icon badge could be itched on the windows, visible but subtle.
Leave the 302 badges off, love the visors, rig is a little tall for my tastes. Nice rig great choices. Always go with your gut!
302 badges in place, factory visors done in the Tiffany blue, your Broncos are amazing! This is absolutely beautiful :)

Thanks for the proper and correct comments about the headlights!! Good to hear someone who knows what they are talking about!

One of the best Bronco you ever did, minimalistic cosmetics! Hats off to ya.
Everything you guy's do is simply amazing! Johnathan you're an amazing mind... Nice seeing you geek out... One day... I'll be calling you to geek out on a vehicle for me...
No badges, keep the visors. Another masterful resto. Keep them coming, we love your work!

This really is homerun. I like the cohesivity of the interior - especially seat fabrics - with the theme of exterior.
Another amazing truck in the books!
Actually Tiffany blue worked beautifully on this truck, very beautiful truck
Jonathan, this... this is fantastic. Very well done. Sorry I'm not on Facebook anymore.
Yet another masterpiece Sir, your idea regarding the badges plain unassuming presence but with a mild growl and ponies too boot...many Txs...
I think this is my favourite BR that Icon has made I fricken love the look of those headlights over some of the LED bug eyes and I love the softer pastel colour of that Tiffany Blue. It also is my favourite type of restomod a reimagining of what an OEM might have it be today.

I really believe this will age better than the “new school” model. It looks perfect.
They just keep getting better !
Beautiful job, Jonathan.
Keep the 302 badges, and go back to the old skool visors. Beautiful build as always!
Awesome attention to detail. ICON is on my wish list.
Awesome and inspiring as always, but the badges on a throwback like this is a must. Thanks again ICON!
Beautiful work, I would leave the 302 badges off. I think some padding on the roll cage above the drivers head would be good.
I agree mostly because it doesn't have a 302 anymore so I don't see any point in putting it back.
Is it a third gen coyote? I didn't hear if it was.
@@BrianS2464 Yes it is ..the same as the current Mustang is running.5 litre
I really enjoy these videos and of course what you and your team do with all of these vehicles wearing the icon name.
the ladies style is impeccable.
What a beautiful Truck & that color is 🔥.
I just can say wooooouuu and more woooooous. That bronco is amazing!!!

An old school beauty 👍
I love it, the best one yet. Dump the visors they don’t suit and keep the badges as they are. Wish I could afford one.

Great job.
Love this guy.
It looks fantastic, beautifully balanced. My vote, badges would be gilding the lilly. Agree that the visors are out of place.
