I just bought a 2024 Bronco Raptor. I immediately drove it from Boston MA to PEI, Canada and couldn’t got over just fun and comfortable it is to drive! The seats are incredibly comfortable for a 10 hour drive.
I have a 22 Base ,Sasquatch,V-6 Twin Turbo, 10 speed automatic, Hardtop with Running boards. The running boards are key to keeping the sides of the Bronco clean. I now have 19000 miles on it -with average mpg of 18.2. Mine is not noisy at all inside at highway speeds. This is our vehicle that we choose to take on trips. The height of the vehicle means that I can see over most others in traffic- which means I can react quicker to traffic situations ahead. I am never fatigued when driving. Seats are very comfortable. and because of the 35 inch tires as wide as they are- they help this handle great. AWD is a pleasure to simply turn on at speeds when you encounter the unexpected heavy rains. I feel safe in my Bronco. Which to me is the #1 reason. I am a former Jeep Owner- my last being a 22 Gladiator. The Bronco is worlds ahead in driving pleasure, interior space and noise. I never hear the engine running from inside the cabin. The V-6 Twin turbo is VERY quick, Surprisingly Quick at highway passing speeds and take off. I also used FORSCAN to turn on the other GOAT modes. I Would 100 % purchase this Bronco again.
My 2022 Bronco 2 door Outer Banks with the 2.7l twin turbo has been flawless. It's a great vehicle for road trips with gobs of power and I've had no problems and only had to do regular maintenance. It can be noisy on the highway when it's windy outside but otherwise, it's fine to drive.
Have a 23 Wildtrak, 6,000 mi with Zero issues! Had a Jeep Rubicon and it was terrible to drive with the boat like steering and uncomfortable seats, Really bad road noise in the Jeep also. The 23 Bronco Wildtrak is so much better in almost all areas, from looks to the ride quailty !!!
I love mine, no regrets. I dont think the wind noise is all that bad (I have the hard top). Especially when the top and doors are removable. Mine stay off spring to fall so the trade-off is worth it for me.
Its not that loud in the interior. I can easily have a conversation with a passenger and take a phone call. My wife and I can talk with the roof off and the windows up. It was surprising to us.
Synthetic oil combined with a new car's systems means the bronco could go even further than 10k miles per oil change. Have the oil tested after each oil change. Its level of robustness and how clean it is will astound
This is the new normal for a lot of cars due to how good high quality synthetic is. its really dependent on driving habits and climates though. 5-7.5k miles is a good interval due to the turbo imo. Also amsoil top synth is 25k 1 year intervals as a ceiling to how good it can be.
The only real way to tell if the 10k change is 'insane' is to test the oil after each change. Otherwise, it is just the opinion of a rando on the internet vs a major manufacturers research and testing.
I'm with you. I know that extended oil change intervals are becoming more commonplace, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there are no issues with the practice. Just like automakers frequently saying transmission and differential fluid is "lifetime", 10k mile oil change intervals are also highly dubious in my view. Engine sludge is still a very real risk and ongoing issue, and turbo engines also tend to be more troublesome with extended oil intervals. Would I run oil for 10k miles if I owned this Bronco? Nope, not unless I was leasing it.
I can vouch that the windshield breaks really easily because of its low rake angle which practically helps guide road debris right towards it. I had to replace my windshield for $1,000 after owning the Bronco for 9 months. Got a much better windshield that doesn’t crack every time it gets hit by a pebble.
I am going have to disagree with you on the noise issue. okay. I have a '23 Badlands, 4 door, hard top, SAS, 10 speed auto and v6. The engine and tranny is the only major difference between your vehicles and mine and that could contribute to the noise. I have had my Bronco for almost a year an the first 6 months I put on 20k miles and I could make phone calls at conversational levels and hear the other person fine, I have had passengers where we have been able to carry on normal level conversational between the front seats and from the front to back, and vice/versa. Agreed, there is going to be some noise with big tires, flat front aerodynamics, and able to take off the doors and windows, but not much more than other SUV's with off-road tires. Plus commuting and long distance driving were not at all fatiguing, during that first 6 months I was driving all over the south east and putting in 8 hour days drives and I was just as road weary as I was back when I drove a Porsche Macan. And she is an asphalt queen either, I use it like it was meant as well and daily driver. So, I am not sure what your standards were for noise and commuting, but I have to disagree.

@@JP-ti5lzinteresting. I’d never heard that before - the one I rented was fine until we hit about 60, then was laughably loud. Basically couldn’t hear my wife talk. Ton of fun, though (2 door, stick)
I think it had more to do with the tires. He said when switched to the Nokian tires, it was quieter. Make sense since the Nokian is a winter tire and it has softer compound. Tires make a huge difference in sound. I had Toyo A40 OE on my Mazda3 awd hatch, it was a eco tire, made for low rolling resistant to save on fuel, and they were loud due to it's hard compound nature. Traction was not ideal for my driving style. I switched to Pirelli P Zero AS Plus, a UHP tire, and it was a lot quieter, better handling on dry and wet, better response, but mileage took a 1mpg hit since they're a softer non rolling resistant performance tire.
2 maybe 3 problems with the new Ford Bronco, maybe a small gas tank (19 gallons) and usually the reason why a vehicle is so noisy is because it's a UNIBODY,if it has a FULL BODY FRAME then it's not noisy.
Anyone else having issues receiving their magazine subscription since it went bi-monthly? I have a feeling im not the only one. Only received 1 magazine since Nov. 2023.
Lol now they’re trying to sell the exact same model for 65-67k and they sit at the dealers forcing them to discount by a few grand. Imagine increasing the cars price by 10k in only 2 years with no upgrades to the vehicle.
That’s because the dealers were marking them up and customers were paying it. The mfgs saw this and decided if the customers were paying markups, that is the price the vehicles should be. Et voila, mfgs increasing the price by $10k w no change to the vehicle.
It is not a good idea to recommend 10,000 miles for an oil change and service on these turbo application motors. There is proof that the EcoBoost motors will grenade from turbo failure primarily from the turbo wearing out too soon from a lack of lubrication creating a domino effect of destruction that will cost the consumer literately thousands way before 100,000 miles. It is recommended from the professionals to change the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 thousand miles.
I get so tired of the comparisons of a Bronco with sasquatch to a car or an SUV, its a dumb joke. I have that same Bronco and it drives and handles better than a majority of the common vehicles out there. Ford did a stupendous job on its driving characteristics. Its a body on frame truck NOT a unibody clone. It handles fantastic but its not a damn car, comeon. "Agricultural" give a me a break. I couldn't watch past that nonsense.
I agree. They missed the mark here. Yes, the majority of these cars will spend their time on pavement. But the purpose is off road capability. People who buy these should understand that they are going to sacrifice some road manners for the off road presence. This is not a camry, nor should it be.
I mean Toyota wants up to $70K for theirs. GM wants up to $65k for theirs. Unfortunately, it has become the norm for mid-size vehicles like this, trucks and off-road SUVs alike.

Had a 2Dr with sound deadening and you could not have a conversation at 75mph. I have Heritage with the painted mod top (white) and it’s vastly quieter. The regular MIC cardboard top is trash. Ford needs to ship all 25s with the new painted black mod top.
Not enough to make it a concern if you missed it. Go for Hot Headz aftermarket.
When I was looking for my Bronco I test drove a 2 door black diamond without the sound deadening. It was loud and sounded like being inside a cave. Ended up with a 4 door Wildtrak hard top. It is so much quieter.
What is the name of gauge for performance that was installed? My Bonnie needs that.
Have you had to change the wheel bearings yet?
Anyone else having issues receiving their magazine subscription since it went bi-monthly? I have a feeling im not the only one. Only received 1 magazine since Nov. 2023.
Need this review for the Braptor
Stirstick equipped 5000lb 4 cylinder SUV thing, at "only" $57k in '22 was a good deal, but is a bit more today....
I must own one.
You will love it.
What they expected, its an 4x4 not a luxury car. Both are different classes..
I wonder how often this guy gets told he looks like Ben affleck
Lol now they’re trying to sell the exact same model for 65-67k and they sit at the dealers forcing them to discount by a few grand. Imagine increasing the cars price by 10k in only 2 years with no upgrades to the vehicle.
That’s because the dealers were marking them up and customers were paying it. The mfgs saw this and decided if the customers were paying markups, that is the price the vehicles should be. Et voila, mfgs increasing the price by $10k w no change to the vehicle.
That’s the package I want!
I think someone forgot to color grade this video.
"What we have learned after beating on a Bronco" for 40K miles? You don't have 'free' windshield replacement on your insurance?
What about towing capabilities?
3500lbs on all models except Raptor I think
A $35k 4 cyl for $58k. No thanks, hard pass.
I mean Toyota wants up to $70K for theirs. GM wants up to $65k for theirs. Unfortunately, it has become the norm for mid-size vehicles like this, trucks and off-road SUVs alike.
@@levtsarev Not if we consumers say Nope, not paying that crap.
@@car-diologistI agree wholeheartedly, but we still have idiots paying large markups on cars. Hopefully the large inventories that all OEMs have right now make them realize that hey you guys are pricing yourselves out of every market.
@@levtsarev Hope something changes. I'm going to invest in a new Huffy bicycle and just give up on everything at this current rate.

$57k for a 4 cylinder? Crazy
Great video and you hit all the main points…I love mine! Just started taking my ‘23 Bronco out on trails, pulling off road camper, and boat. More videos coming: m.youtube.com/@ExpeditionMichigan
What's with the thumbnail of it getting air and nothing in the video of that? Not trying to over glorify the Bronco's capabilities are ya?🤔
Thanks for saving my time watching this video haha.
Did you call the Bronco a car?
You could not run fast enough to give me a manual transmission. OhhhHellNo!
Why in gods name did you option that badlands sasquatch with a manual and the 4 banger?? WHY? That is far more fun with the TTv6 and the ten speed and WAY faster.
You have a spare thats a different make and model???😂
Music in vids too loud and awful.
Didn’t quite make the 3 minute mark. Good grief.
Ford out did themselves 10 "Cherry''

Should have a V8 and I would buy one
Should have gotten a bigger engine the 2 7 rocks
The f* cking dealers have big balls asking customers to pay this kind of money for a base truck
Sounds like you may as well buy a motorcycle....... car and driver reviews have really went down hill in the last few years what's going on?
$57k out the door, for a 4 cylinder turbo?? Yeah no thanks.
Toyota LandCruiser tops out at $75k w 4 cylinders.
The 4 cyl is better than the minivan engines that were available in similar year midsize trucks and current jeeps, but go off
40k is bs
Will it go
400k
That’s what the world wants to know ??
took them 40K miles to figure out the cabin is too noisy,....smh
The answer is no. What current production vehicle do you think will go 400K without pouring money for repairs into it?

This reviewer is a tool. C&R you need better.
I looked and drove one and it was horrible getting in and out of it. My F550 custom super single from DBL design is easier to to own and drive.
I just can’t take these American cars seriously.
why is that?

There is a reason why nearly every Ford dealership is awash with unsold Broncos…where to start…. Crappy unreliable over boosted mouse motor, wind noise, poor build quality and a bloated MSRP…I’ll keep my FJ Cruiser
What does consumer reports think of it? 😮
They're waiting for the check to clear first.
