I've recently struggled finding good cities skylines console youtubers to watch (since I get really annoyed that I can't play on PC lol) but your content is very nice thank you for making these videos
I really like where you put the cathedral, it really fits in nice there. Too funny about your little guy enjoying all 3 rides 😂 The amusement park looks amazing! First rail 🥳
Thanks spud. I definitely go a bit carried away with the trees on the first attempt. But it's not about always getting it right on the first attempt, it's about being able to recognise what's wrong and being able to fix it!
Seeing you play yon cnsole is two fold one one hand it is so relaxing to watch on the other hand it constantly trigers me use that mod and then i go Awww dang it ... so yeah let's me appreciate my options more again and at the same time i am admiring your dedication. great editing too! So big love from a pc gamer.
Thank you so much. I always feel a little envious watching PC players and how easy mods can make things, but I also want to show what's possible with just the tools the game gives us (and a lot of patience lol). I'm glad you're enjoying my work.
Great episode! At 24:31, I think the dip is there because the train station is just slightly lower than the tracks (you can see it at the other end around the 28:06 mark.) Maybe the road the train station sits on is lower because it's on the riverbank?
Yeah, I think you're right. I had trouble trying to get the road to sit level, which is why I pulled the river bank out so far. I popped a quay wall in while I was tidying up off cam and that seems to have sorted it out. I'm glad you enjoyed the episode 😁
Great video once again sir! I can't get over that trumpet interchange still. I have tried so many times to make it on console and mine looks nothing like yours haha. More practice is needed, clearly, in cities skylines for me. Also, what editing program are you using? I have noticed you have quite a few other techniques that I don't have with mine.
Yeah, it takes some practice and you need to pay close attention to your guide markings to get the measurements right. I do the bulk of my editing in lightworks but I made all my vfx in blender. Blender is probably not the best choice. There are easier to use programs available, but it is versatile and it will render on a low spec pc (which is the main reason I stuck with it). Really steep learning curve though!
I am always impressed at what console players can accomplish without mods. At the same time i am annoyed that the game is so ugly with default LUTs, it really does a disservice to awesome builds like these.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed my builds (even if not the default LUTs). I'm hoping I can do a good job of showcasing what's possible on the console edition and the feedback so far has been encouraging 😀.
Love it when a builder engineers their tunnels to go in straight instead of being wonky and diving directly to the depths of the earth. Great episode
A nice clean tunnel was a definite improvement on the twisted mess I tried first 😅

Lovely entertainment park :)
Thanks. took a while to get it right but I think I'm happy with the end result.

The cathedral is one of my favourite builds in this city. So pleased with how it came out.
very nice knocking the tree hights back in the theme park was the right move for sure

The amusement park looks great nice job ☺️
Thanks. I got a bit over zealous with the trees to begin with but it ended up looking pretty nice lol.
