Well said. If the game developers want to make a game that focuses on inclusivity, that's fine whatever. Don't tell me the game isn't made for me and then cry when no one buys your game! Looking at you Concord. Regardless, if i don't like the narrative you're trying to push, i don't have to buy your game. If you want to sprinkle a little bit in there without it being a focal centerpiece of the game, that's fine with me. I think assassins creed odyssey and valhalla did a great job where you got to pick If you were male or female and then you got to decide your love interests whether it was male or female. It's all about options. Allow me the option to deny it while also allowing the option for others to fully embrace it without affecting the gameplay. Where I think assassins creed shadows is going wrong is they are forcing you to adhere to their agenda. If you really want to be fully inclusive in that game, then make a character customizer and anyone can be anything they want at anytime. But it's a game based around historical facts so the least you can do is make sure you have your facts right.

I think you pretty much nailed it. The thing I want to mention about the whole woke stuff is if a game developer makes that a main focus point or "selling point", I can safely assume the game won't be very good. I have yet to be proven wrong on that too haha. I don't care if game developers want to include the option to be whatever you want to be, it's a video game. I just don't want it shoved down my throat and forced upon me. Include it in the character customization screen and leave it at that. The game I'm playing is Satisfactory and the game doesn't tell you if your character is a boy or girl or whatever. You can imagine it however you want to and that's just fine with me

great video. Building inside the initial paths isn't really "organic" though. The initial paths themselves are based off movement from the camp center radiating out towards the buildings. The most organic pathing would be to overwrite all initial paths and base expansion off the pathing that occurs from their daily routines from their houses to their places of work and other other activities. Just a thought Edit: Also, that is great on the economy part. It was well explained and freaking genius.

The Underground Metro Station is 2x2, fits nicely between that space of the entrance of the Station you had, on either side, have a path alongside the metro station, between the two streets. If the outer road along the front entrance has Trams, or Monorail, and maybe bus stops on the turnoff into the train station, you suddenly have a customized metro transfer area for multiple transit interchange options. I do like what you did with the plaza setup though. I don't have Plaza dlc, but I do have Campus and Parks. Plenty of ideas from those. I did something similar in My Zoo layout, making lil food court sections off to the side. Nicely done though.

I play on Xbox, and I have parking lots available in 3 sizes, in the Leisure tab, Plaza options I think. And there's the small size you spawned, 2x4, there's a medium size 4x 6 i think, and than a large size, idk the dimensions, it's big, but a multi level parking garage. No spawning or waiting needed... Just select them and plot them, from the leisure tab. I've only been at this game for 2 or 3 weeks, and already spent more time on it than most games I've played within 6 months. I've learned a lot! I don't understand why everyone talks about "Spawning Lot trick" when I can just select and build! Enlighten me please?? Maintaining the lake like you showed at the end, would not a water pump intake placed at edge of lank also automate it so it doesn't overflow? What if.... using the Disaster DLC (need for the fresh water outlet, or maybe that's Green Cities?), If you literally loop the Water intake pump to the same water line for the outlet, keeping them powered, no other system of water added, it will continue to add water and take it away without it ever overflowing or drying up? Maybe? If It does still dry up as there's less water in the intake, to provide the outlet? Maybe adding this to the citie's water system, which includes drain pipes elsewhere for the polluted water, and a process plant before the fresh water outlet, I think you can maintain a manmade lake with fresh water, automated, will never flood if the pump is connected, and never pollute if the system has other sources for pollution outlet (maybe. I'm guessing, will definitely experiment) this. Placing man made lakes in various areas around city as I see everywhere in my city I live in, would be really neat. 🤔 Good video. Thanks! Hi Pretty good tutorial I had major problems with rail for a few years, then learnt to split passenger and cargo. As soon as rail enters the city limits a create 2 lines and they never cross over - it helps when you cheat with unlimited money I also used your plan of a 1 stop external link and a loop road to another station for internal distribution. While that works, the road was heavily congested with truck all queued up and basically going around the block. The next improvement was to loop a cargo with a water cargo port, same senario a loop for both units to only serve those 2 places, then another cargo rail on the other side of the street for inter city distribution That worked fine, but eventually that got clogged up as well with trains - the problem for me was that all my internal cargo stations fed every cargo line, using T - rail intersections helped but they just got busier Eventually i just used 1 or 2 external city cargo feeds, and then split a T-rail intersection with no more than 3 or 4 internal cargo stations EG North external cargo line feeds 3 or 4 station north and east South cargo line feeds 3 or 4 stations south and west There is no interconnect of the split cargo zones, if they want to get from north to south say, they either cannot or send out of city and it returns much later ( and i think stats out of city limits dont count ) Oh, if possible i can use a cargo port to connect north and south You need to create a emergency services road in the loop for trash/police/fire/medical just draw a single 2 way road, add services and ban truck traffic in that short street - think of the interconnect road as a large O , then you place a small street so it sort of looks like a Q ( with a very short Q-tail ) Regards George

Roundabout "bracing" is as far as i can tell a really old and widespread trick. I ve been doing it for years but i dont think i was first. Its one of those tricks that is rather intuitive and plenty have come up with it independently of each other. EDIT: Oh and btw, you might find this trick intersting if you havent seen it already. I’ve discovered that bus lane roads are useful in industry as well. Deliveries and turns are allowed into/out of the red lane one node before/after their stop/turn leaving the middle lanes for through traffic and the sides for stopping.
