We agreed that my husband would work his butt off to provide for our family, and I would ensure we had a loving home. My goal is to care for my husband correctly so that if he is tempted to cheat, he will compare how his wife makes him feel and takes care of him with what he’s about to become involved in and decide that he’s not willing to risks what he already has. In my opinion, most men would like more than one wife, especially when talking about the physical and sexual parts. I question whether most men want more than one wife regarding the financial and emotional aspects of marriage. Marriage and parenting require fully present individuals. If we are going to do this thing called life right, we must have healthy, strong families. We can’t believe the myth that we can have it all, that we can multitask. Somebody needs to make money, and somebody needs to parent the children and take care of the home. I’m old school. I am also an attorney and a professional; however, my career always comes second. My family is and always has been my priority. I did not work for many years because I wanted my family to eat home-cooked meals, my children to have a mommy at home when they came home from school, and I wanted to have time for my husband when he came home from a long hard day. We agreed that my husband would work his butt off to provide for our family, and I would ensure we had a loving home. My goal is to care for my husband correctly so that if he is tempted to cheat, he will compare how his wife makes him feel and takes care of him with what he’s about to become involved in and decide that he’s not willing to risks what he already has.
Secondly, I congratulate the host for publicly acknowledging that he is consciously deciding to be a faithful and loving husband. Continue on that path! Thank you.
