I am a Chinese who had work relationships in South Africa, and that's where I first heard about Trevor. I started following his shows and was thrilled when he landed on the Daily Show. Really happy for him then. Followed the Daily Show throughout the past years and so glad to see Trevor's evolution. Wish you all the best in your new endeavours!
Trevor was one of the biggest triumphs of the Daily Show. No one believed anyone could replace Jon, but Trevor managed to pull it off. He added his own flair, helping the Show grow bigger and better

Years ago I remember driving into Cape Town, I remember seeing Trevor's face on a Cell-C billboard, and my wife commented on how talented he is, and we actually purchased one of his 1st stand-up comedy DVD's. What you have done at the Daily show was unbelievable, and your hard work has left a permanent mark of inspiration on us. Viva Trevor!

I did not think anyone could fill Jon Stewart's shoes, and I wasn't sure at first that Trevor did, but he has really made the show his own, and the shows from his apartment really made the pandemic time a lot better for me. He made it easier to stay informed without losing hope.
I moved from Brazil to New York in 2018, started to watch Trevor on the Daily Show and that helped me to get through hard days and the pandemic. Thank you, Trevor ❤️

i really hope one of the new correspondents will take over. it seems fair and like the best choice. like ronny who came with him or dulcé or desi or roy. it seems they would make the transition easiest for the current audience and theyre hilarious and carry trevor’s values and approaches. plus, they would make history for the show :)

Those are the parts of the show I love. Infusing humor into the truth and reality. I’ve never been a fan of the over the top ridiculous correspondent segments.

Yeah Jon Stewart said a high bar on his way out and when Trevor was first named to be his replacement I had no idea who he was. But he proved to all of us I wasn't outstanding host for the Daily Show he was, and he assembled an awesome team of correspondents to make us laugh and think
I followed you since day 1 when you first started in 2015, you had big shoes to fill and you overfilled them. Now someone has to do the same for you. You were beyond an incredible host for the Daily Show, and the own style you created over the years complimented it. I wish you the best in your next journey. Well done sir!

Honestly i'm happy. I love Trevor as a comedian and have rewatched certain parts a million time. but as a Daily Show host? Not a fan. I loved the Daily Show with John Stewart and thought it was a much much better show back then. Trevor is a great comedian but the show needs part pundit - someone with great political humor & insight but can also really dig into explaining whats actually going on and Trevor just isn't cut from that cloth. I'm excited for the future possibilities for the show. I hope it's Jordan Klepper, he's funny and does some incredible investigative journalism, check out stuff they post on this channel of his.

Trevor you have done an excellent job . It is very rare that a replacement host for a popular show becomes as successful as the original, but you managed it. I’m going to miss you. Lots of luck to you in your future projects.

I remember discovering Trevor 10 years ago through his stand up videos on RUclips. I was 15 and my mind was blown. He hadn’t broken into the mainstream yet, then a few years later there was news of him taking over The Daily Show. People were sceptical but I knew what the network had seen in him. He has hit it out of the park these 7 years and I’m so grateful that such a huge audience got to know him. Hope you do great things wherever you go, Trevor. Thanks for the laughs!

@@aishwarya2426 trevor noah wasn't mainstream internationally But his been mainstream in south africa and the some other countries since 2000. I've been watching him over 22 years. He was the host of 20 something which aired in alot of countries and even dstv has been showing all his stand up continuously threw out the african continent. It's true that he got alot of fans threw the daily show but he was also really popular even before that he preformed stand up comedy shows in other countries. That's how he got recognized in us

I always loved learning about South Africa (and other places he's been) from Trevor. That's a huge benefit of having someone from another country host, we get to hear about all their experiences and their home culture and whatnot! It made sure that the Daily Show always had a unique perspective, totally distinct from all the other shows like it. And that made it even more worth watching :)
@@idontwantahandlethough - Did you ever watch a video of S. African President Zuma. He was almost exactly the way Trevor portrayed him, smile and all. It was hilarious.

Trevor was right and exact - the distinctive way President Zuma would give a speech, the mannerisms, his chants and that Zulu Pride. ALL exactly like him. Amazing. So perceptive, intelligent and respectful. 🤯🥰
