I'm sure you're aware but just in case, did you know that Euros Lyn who directed both these seasons of Heartstopper, directed several episodes of Dr Who, including some of your favourites. Also, did you know that William Gao, who plays Tao in Heartstopper, is in a band with his sister Olivia Hardy, called Wasia Project. Their beautiful song, Ur So Pretty, plays over that final scene of this 2nd season, with stunning effect. With subtitles on the words are so fitting and poignant.
Great observation about Nick and Darcy's dad and mum respectively, not caring about their kids and the confusion with that. The pain of that neglect is so relatable for far too many people.

If Ben had really been thinking about Charlie he would have left him alone. He tried to contact him multiple times and never got a response. That should have told him that Charlie simply wanted nothing to do with him. I agree with charlie; it was about Ben feeling better about himself. No surprise; it's all about Ben.
All true. A perfect example of a situation where a letter is better. But of course, by writing it in a letter Ben loses that element of control; I doubt he even recognized that-that he could have written what he said. Enormous credit to the actor playing Ben. As awful as Ben was that actor is a lovely, positive person. He did a tremendous job bringing that character to life!
